    Thanks that was a good review. I do have one question, looking at the Jackery 1000V2 is does not come with a DC charging cable and it appears that you can not purchase a DC charging cable for it. You can purchase a cable which allows the Jackery to charge your vehicle battery but not the other way around. So then my question is how do you use your vehicle to charge the Jackery?

    • @fairtradefinder1395
      @fairtradefinder1395 2 дня назад

      Jackery sells a DC 12V charging cable that will let you charge the 1000V2 using your vehicle: www.jackery.com/products/car-charging-cable - however it is sold out at the moment. You should also be able to use a generic cable from Amazon: amzn.to/4dmSs3z

    Have you compared the ventilation in person to see the difference? Visually Nemo looks to provide good airflow in humid and hot conditions. However you give credit to Northface. Nemo's windows vs Northface vents?

    • @fairtradefinder1395
      @fairtradefinder1395 Месяц назад

      The NEMO Aurora doesn't have rainfly vents. So even with the nice big windows, it gets more stuffy and humid in rain when you have to seal everything up. Plus - even though this is an add-on - TNF has an awesome vestibule. You can keep it open during the rain, and even cook underneath. Take a look a this photo i.redd.it/2e2c6m52enc91.jpg

    i have been with the Anker eco system for a few years from cellphone accessories to power stations, i have been using the smaller 757 to run my laptop and phone then charging it after11pm (low rate) a few weeks ago i purchased the 767 with the expansion battery i am able to run 2 55" tv's the laptop phone router printer etc etc.. i charge the same after 11pm takes about an hour and a half i leave everything on standby and when i get up turn everything on 24 hours later i am getting around 60% remaining! it is very quite much more than the smaller 757 .. that is also being used in the same manner in the kitchen.. charging both each night for a couple of hours and i have plenty of power untill the following night, yes it was a big outlay but saves a fortune.. solars are next on the list almost off grid!

    • @carltuckerson7718
      @carltuckerson7718 2 месяца назад

      100% depends on what I’m running. I’ve got a couple RV’s but the one I use this for is a little NoBo 10.6 overlander-style. Just running the lights - with solar panels you’re up indefinitely. It can run the rooftop AC for a little over an hour and a half - and so instead I use the EcoFlow Wave2 (with the optional battery). I’ll be doing more testing on it soon.

      How do you feel about size comparison? I'm struggling to decide between these 2. My use will be multi day camping away from service. Will use it to charge things like starlink satellite, laptop and keeping my camping gear charged up. How fast is your Anker charging full? That was part of my selling point for ecoflow as it would fully charge in 1.1 hour

    • @carltuckerson7718

    What is it like wearing toe spacers? My big toe can use some straightening (the toenail sticks up, and the big toe is angled toward the other shoes b/c of wearing regular shoes that were too tight for too many years (I didn't even realize it was happening until someone offered me much larger shoes. I said who wears shoes that large? She said people your height. That got me thinking.)

    • @fairtradefinder1395
      @fairtradefinder1395 4 месяца назад

      Toe spacers feel really good! I have a similar toe issue where the big toe presses against the smaller one. Wearing the spacers makes all the toes point straight in the right direction, and it feels like a nice stretch. However, I don't wear them for more than 1-2 hours at a time. Also having shoes with a wide toe box really helps because my toes can wiggle and move without being bunched up. Hope this helps!

      Jackery released their "Plus" line - these power stations have LiFePO4 batteries, 3,000 - 4,000 charge cycles, Bluetooth/WiFi, much faster recharge times (although not quite as fast as EcoFlow X-Boost). They are finally trying to catch up to EcoFlow / Bluetti.

    I looked into both of these prior to purchase, and both were impressive, even when compared to other manufacturers' products. I settled on the Copper Spur HV UL2, but took it a step further and bought the Bikepacker version. The tentpole segments are a little shorter, which allows me to carry inside my packs.

      You should capture a video of your biking / camping trips - would be cool to see the bikepacking version in action.

    Excellent video! It's great to see two tents compared side by side. Retailer websites don't, so you go back and forth, sometimes until you get dizzy and decide to come back later!

    It’s actually paragliding+ski 😉 If you can ski/snowboard already - you just need to take some paragliding lessons - you can have the license within 6months 😃✌🏻

    Which tent has more cubic ft volume of air?

      The NEMO Aurora Highrise 4P has more volume - it has a floor area of 62.5 square feet, peak height of 6.25 ft. / Volume = Floor Area × Peak Height / 62.5 sq ft × 6.25 ft = 390.625 cubic ft

    Durability based on materials comparison should be updated. They actually are similar in spec per manufacturer info. Nemo has same weight materials as Big Agnes. Both are good quality regardless.

      You're right - I do need to update this video since the specs in this video are over 1 year old. Thanks for the heads up!

    something i saw on NEMO Aurora HIghrise 4 says it is waterproof rated. Your video on NEMO being less waterproof seems misleading and perhaps uniformed. "Weather resistance for the Aurora is largely positive, and it shines particularly well in the rain. All the essentials are there, with the full-coverage vestibule, high-quality seam taping, and a 1200mm waterproof rating on the 68D polyester fly. Nemo goes one step further, however, by taking full advantage of their new Highrise frame design, which leaves a significant overhang at the windows. This allows the windows to be left open in anything short of sideways rain, but you can also zip them up tight as needed"

      Thanks for the heads up - you're right about the NEMO Aurora Highrise waterproof rating. However, the Aurora Highrise has 68D / 1200mm polyester rainfly vs North Face Wawona 75D / 1200mm polyester rainfly. Also, Nemo Aurora has aluminum poles vs North Face Wawona DAC MX. Both are great tents that will provide good weather resistance, but North Face still has a bit more edge in this regard.

      @@fairtradefinder1395 ‘has the edge’ is a good way to put it. I’m a fan of NEMO tents and have slept in this tent in the pouring rain multiple times. I recommend it to a friend and they researched it, saw your video and the way you worded it (give yourself a listen) made them run away from the Nemo. I felt it was unfair.
