Excited to learn from you at the BJJ Globetrotter USA camp in August in New Hampshire. It's like a gift to be able to have you teaching there. I use your videos to assist my teaching of my own students. Thank you for all the videos that you make!

Jason I really want to thank you for for the great videos you make . If RUclips had a prize for channel of the year I think you should be the first to receive it . Great work bud . keep it up !

Thank you so much for posting this video. I am working like a maniac right now so I can’t get in the gym as much. Drilling has really helped my game when I’m in the gym. So far I try to drill this every day in the morning. I have seen a dramatic difference when I’m in the gym in just seven days of doing this. I really appreciate the time you put into this video! Paul Arnold, Alliance purple belt, Tallahassee, Florida.
I'd like to share a Weird fact: I used to practice bodybuilding in the past, i got bulky and massive, and never reached that "ripped" state... then i discovered MMA, after having few spares with these guys i felt like I was all big but no power... it's been almost 2 years now... and i can tell you that i'm in my best shape ever ( less bigger than before, but more aesthetic, and efficient when it comes to fighting! I eat clean and train 3 times a week and I'm doing very well... ( i do bulk once a year but the jiu jitsu way! ;) ) jiu jitsu can build a solid body
@@mrswolls Or you could not look at it from the muscle head angle and think like what if you had the strength and muscle and know how to use it.Yoel Romero is the bulkiest guy in the middle weight division in the UFC but he moves like a cat.
@@maltheri9833 thats my point big muscle alone is useless and requires a lot of oxygen and energy, however if you can move well with then all the more power to you
@@mrswolls OP already made that point and when the guy suggested strength training you took that as well "Super bulky and slow instead of strength training like he said." Most wrestlers are very built and are very agile so I'm not seeing your point
Thank you so much for putting together this video. I just started Jiu Jitsu this week and I've done three hours on the mat so far, quite a bit of that rolling. I can already see and understand in a very basic way how each one of these exercises will help me, as every time I've found myself in a spot where I can't do anything, I know that one of the many reasons is because I'm just not strong enough to move my body or my opponents body in a way that would make things easier for me. I'm a musician by trade, and I can see that this kind of technical conditioning is just like when a musician practices their scales. Yeah, we might not just play scales during a song, because it wouldn't be very melodic, but we practice them so that our fingers (or in Jiu Jitsu, our bodies) know where to go and can get there quickly, and there's enough strength when they get there for it to have the effect we're looking for (in music, to make a clear and clean note). I can now train something on my own that is specific to what I'm doing in class. So thank you very much!
Thanks for posting, was looking for some different drills, seems we do the same ones in class, was getting burned out. the compass drills and sideways shoulder rolls, were most challenging at first. Thanks again. BJJ for Life!
Thanks for making this video! Having just started BJJ with no martial arts experience I've been finding it hard to follow movements and focus on executing technique at training. This gives me things to work on and also taking notes on proper technique when moving.
I just wanted to say thanks for the video....i took up training in june of this year and i amazed how tight knit the BJJ community is.....i love that everyone seems to want to help....i was also amazed how much mutual respect is displayed on the mats between training partners, and even competitors on the mats....once again thanks i am going to try some of these at home.
