These grappling drills, done everyday even by non-grapplers, would be an excellent way to stay flexible and agile for everyday life movement. Very good presentation.
As a newbie grappling guys who's entering beginner level tf you talking about this stuff ain't easy 💀 (edit: minus that I'm 15 years old and have a full wake training with no rest at all)
I started doing these every day (the ones I can physically do anyways lol) and it has helped my flexibility, movement and endurance for BJJ. Thank you !!
Great video. I’m 66 started last year but had a few months out. For me BJJ gives you a great workout, it is psychologically and physically demanding and the camaraderie is wonderful. But BJJ is part of a wider health and fitness regime. Kettlebells, yoga, running all support what I can do in BJJ. Now here is something I think of. When you’re older they say learn a language it’s good for your brain. I think of BJJ as a “language”. learning techniques, figuring out how to mould that into rolling, understanding angles, leverage & tactics. So that an intellectual challenge then applying it on the mats. ( oh and I’m learning Italian !)
@@willieleehendersonlll So you ain't grown yet. Don't worry you may be there in the future. Dumb youth, puppet to the programming it's not your fault unless you know better and refuse to be better. If you don't know well now you know.
Absolutely love it! Two weeks out from my first ever comp (as a 38 year old) and this is just what I need for some additional solo drilling each morning. Thanks Jason!
Hi Jason, I do your 33 solo drills when I can't train judo or BJJ, since 2015. Best solo drill ever on the web. Only with this one can I sweat after 6 minutes. Now I'll try this new 54 drills. Thank you so much!
Thanks! I'm thinking of picking 12 for twelve mins. for a few workouts. Then after I feel I've mastered those 12 pick twelve more for 12 mins. and so on till I've mastered the moves then put them all together. If not I'm afraid I'd spend the whole workout looking at my phone trying to figure out all those moves. BTW 55 y.o. started bjj when I was 54. Hoping to have my blue belt in 6 months or so. My body has responded fine. Just tapping early and often!
Hey bro, I know even those drills alone will get that heart racing. Nice to see us older guys keeping that lifestyle. That's the only thing that's going to slow down age to the body. I've just turned 40 not to long ago and I feel like I'm in my late 20s. 250 some pounds and I put it to all these youngsters. They are surprised to find out my age most think I'm maybe 30. I love this stuff just wish I had more people my size to play with that are not just big or bigger but also well coordinated. Nice to see other people out there sticking to it!
Thanks, professor!!!! I'm finally healthy enough to start training! This is so helpful and realized how out of shape I was LOL. I appreciate your video!!!!!!

Thanks! Tired just watching this! I definitely used your original solo drills video back when I started 4 years ago. Great new moves in here, thank you again.
Great lesson! Been practicing the stationary ones during the pandemic and modifying the moving ones to doing in place (due to limited space at home and padding). Thanks for this!
Amazing! Was just looking for a joint-mobility/movement routine and this pretty much covers the bases. Just increase the reps for a tougher/longer workout. Thanks. Greetings from the UG!

Goos job my brother, I am 40 years old and will not stop working out thanks to fellows like you. You set up a good example.
You are one strong dude. Doing all that in 12 mns?? RESPECT.
@mu5lim Don't be a dumb ass!
mu5lim gathak. You don't know shit.
@mu5lim a ''steroids'' comment on a Jiu Jitsu drills video. Now THAT is pretty dumb!

Wow, you are in shape. That is a lot of work in that amount of time. Years of hard work and discipline right there. Bravo!

It is truly impressive you did this all in one take. Awesome job.
And no stupid "motivation" music in a background!
Absolutely love it! Two weeks out from my first ever comp (as a 38 year old) and this is just what I need for some additional solo drilling each morning. Thanks Jason!
This is awesome. I can do this everyday for a good workout and a reminder I can still move at my age. Thank you
Thank you, Jason Scully! I'm just 5 weeks new to BJJ. That looks compelling + much to explore.
I’ve been doing this for like a year and I’m only 11.It’s super good and fun.
I think I threw my back out watching him!! Respect!
Thanks Jason. I've been looking for your channel for years. I still have your video from 8 years ago. Thanks for this one buddy. Awesome 👍😎
As someone who is a 12-year-old, this really gets me sweating and sometimes even training doesn't do that for me it feels really beneficial thank you!
Best one of these I’ve seen. Excellent, and just what I’m looking for
Thank you for doing this especially at this time. Stay home.
Thanks for posting! I’ve got a new routine to learn!

Great idea! I was thinking I'd need a mnemonic just to remember 12!
3:17 such a good exercise for mobility.
You are like an encyclopedia of BJJ knowledge.
Thank you. This is awesome. It would be super helpful if you had a voice over calling out the exercise.
I suggest you try doing it before giving him a thumbs down.
Maximum respect to this guy as I'd be swimming my sweats in 5 minutes😲

My self isolation just keeps getting more and more interesting.
This shown as an entire workout would be awesome, so one could simply follow along
First recommended video today...good start.
