I will definitely try to use cold water the next time I refresh my curls 🖤😍 I totally agree that curly life is NOT for the weak 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I'm going into a decade and I still am surprised I lasted this long , but I am grateful for it
That ice water trick is bomb. I actually leave my spray bottles in the refigerator and use it whenever I am refreshing or spritzing my hair. I found that my hair was shinier and didn't frizz as quickly.
The only reason I have lasted this long with my natural hair is because I wear it in one big puff and leave it alone. Love your advice for refreshing the hair. I’m definitely trying the ice cold water tip.
I have low porosity hair so cold water closes my hair follicles and won’t allow any moisture in. 😔. I normally have to use warm water. Are you low porosity? If so and it worked for you then it may work for me.
to get all the product out - roll the end of the tube up. they sell a lil metal key you can use to make it easier. that way you can get all the product out and then recycle the packaging
I just did a wash n go this morning and I love it abs will make sure it is dry to I can like day 2 and so on. This will be great when it’s time to refresh and include cold water hack. Thank you beauty 🙏🏾
Hey Kelsey! I just tried the ice cold water tip, applied my Curlsmith products from wash day, and the section I refreshed is so defined and moisturized! Thanks for sharing.
Hi Kelsey I always like seeing your products you're using and how your hair turns our✨️ Still my hair goals 😍 Wishing your mother a Happy Mother's Day💐
From a hair stylist, I've heard knots could also be caused by the conditioner (or any hair mask) not properly removed off during the wash day, other than that staying hydrated in and out might also help reducing these bad boys 😉
Thank you. I’m going to try the ice cube method. I have successfully been using bottled water to use. I haven’t used (except once) tap water to refresh my hair. Poland springs took the frizz right out. But want to try this. That way if I run out of bottled water, I can use this.
My friends been working on making the curly life easier. Please have a look at the Nyfasi deluxe detangler she’s worked hard on engineering and trying to get to market, if you can support her, please pre order or share. Your gorgeous hair will thank you ❤️👸🏾🙏🏾
Hmmmm definitely need to try, cause I use hot water when I detangle for wash day. For my hair it eliminates frizz but definitely need to try for refreshing (I don’t use hot water for refresh just room temp)
Question: when I used gels for a wash & go the very next day my hair seems flat and like nothing got done. Even dry. I was thinking maybe my hair needs a cream styler or butter. Do you have any suggestions as to what I can use? Also does my hair have to be redone daily? I was under the impreession that wash & gos last more than a day without anyting being done to it. Blessings~
And so did many other cultures of many other religions. Love how people use other peoples platform to state your personal beliefs as if everyone believes the same thing. No.
Anyone have success with the ice water? My stylist always rinsed out the conditioner with cold water for the purpose of sealing in the moisture and closing the cuticles. I want to try the ice water for shine, but was wondering how my products would respond if my cuticles are closed.
So helpful, thank you! I just tried it and my super low porosity spots are actually curlier than on wash day. Do you think i could use cold water on wash day when I'm putting in my products initially?
I’ve been watching you guys since I was about 16. I was relaxed then and was just watching for straight hair tips. Always loved you guys personality and video content 💖 I am now 29 yo and transitioned to natural and discovered we have the same same type 😂🤩 Now I can watch you guys for my natural hair 🙌🏽 Catching up it’s been a while since I’ve tuned in but instantly thought of you guys!! 💕🫶🏽

So glad to see a curly hair routine. I miss those videos so I’ve had the old ones on repeat.

Cold water help with frizzy hair .Thank you I’m so one who has frizzy hair.
My stylist taught me about cold water. It is indeed a game changer
Absolutely love. Seems like it has gotten so much easier.
Cut the tube in halve pry it open and get remaining product out.
If you cut the bottle then doesn’t that prevent you from being able to recycle it if the two halves end up being too small?
I cut the bottom off when my tubes get low like that. I waste not a drop!
Hi Kelsey, do you and Kendra get single stand knots? If so how do you manage or prevent new ones? Love y’all’s content 💕
LISTEN!!!!! the way these knots don’t ever let me be great!!!!
They are unavoidable… the key is moisturized hair and keeping up w/ trims…
Myrevair it’s hair dryer it help alot

I want to try the ice water for shine, but was wondering how my products would respond if my cuticles are closed.
