Thank you for continuing to update us on your hair routine. I remember you and your sister were the first girls that I had ever seen with hair like mine that was long and healthy without a relaxer! You inspired me to start my hair journey and now my hair is down to the middle of my back! Keep inspiring the culture!!!
I put a blue black rinse in my hair this year and loved it! But, of course as rinses are supposed to do it rinsed out. I haven’t permanently colored my hair since Big Chopping in 2015, but watching this may make me change my mind, because black just makes the hair look so much more shiny and healthy! I also love that you aren’t afraid of getting rid of dead ends too! Too many folks be holding onto dead hair for the sake of length and it be looking crazy!
It’s not fall without a straight hair routine from my girls Kelsey and Kendra! And it’s not summer without the curly hair routine from you guys!! Been a subscriber for a long time and I will forever watch and take notes 📝 ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Chile I got a back ache, arm ache, shoulder pain and headache watching this. I have 1/4 of your hair and I’m exhausted after doing my hair. You are a boss❤️
I use to dream about your hair length man When I first went natural. it's been 4 Years now.. my hair 5 inches away from my tooty booty LOL.. thank you for inspiring me to go natural ❤️💯🤞🏾🥰
They were the ones that inspired me to go natrual three years ago!! What a journey its been! Recently trimmed not too long and woooo what a relief! Dont be afraid to trim yall itll make doing your hair sooooo much easier!
I really get irritated when people thumb down their videos like what! Are you mad that you don’t look as good as her? Like what’s not to like about this video? It was very informative
As always, you provide such great "explanations" so that one can actually understand the whys/hows/etc. I learn so much from yours and your sister's videos. Beautiful outcome as always. Nice to see that you demonstrated a healthy trim vs. being too scared to cut your hair.
I love when Kelsey does her updated curly hair routines! Anyone else agree with me? I know y’all do! When you were showing us your hair at the end Kelsey, I swear I can feel how soft and silky your hair is through the screen. Crazy right? 😍 you always having amazing results with your hair!
Yes!! I can’t stand seeing people trying to hold on to raggedy ends, it looks so much more healthy and thicker, and your look exactly that, healthy and thicker, besides it’s hair and will grow back. I have a short pixie cut and got mine colored yesterday a d my stylist said I’m going to have to cut your ends, and it said it like he was trying to convince me, I looked at him and said, “ go ahead, I can see right through it, you don’t have to tell me twice”!
Great video! Just some tips & tricks for anyone watching... 10 volume or 5 volume (only professionals can get their hands on 5 volume) mixed with black, permanent color. & that's if you want to never go back light & want the color as dark & rich as possible. If you want to go black but want the possibility of it fading faster & going lighter in the future I would go with a demi-permanent color, which usually requires it's own separate developer. With any color, professional or with Sally's, always use the same brand developer & color. That will ensure the color will last & be accurate to the tone (whether you are using a neutral shade or a blue based black). Putting black color on your ends will not damage them at all! Especially if you are using a quality color that moisturizes the hair while it colors. Your ends should actually feel smoother after a quality dark color service. Lastly, 20 volume like used in the video should only be used on regrowth or "roots" that are gray. 20 volume on the length of your hair so often will lead to the cutical opening to the point of no return where it will eventually be harder for the color to penetrate & last. As well, layering permanent color over the ends will eventually lead to the hair looking darker & less on tone with the color you chose. So your regrowth will be colored black & rich, but your mids & ends will look oversaturated & dull.
My hair is just like this I started watching y’all when y’all used to share rooms and I never comment but I’m going on to start now. I used to wear weaves 24/7 and knew a little bit of caring for my natural hair. My hair curly is the length of my hair straight a long time ago. You and Kendra really help me grow my hair. Everybody thinks it a weave and it’s so annoying cause I grew this shit lol. Keep doing y’all I will forever be a supporter.
This video brought back old school Glamtwinz! Your Sudu flat iron, goody brush, and big comb I believe you said you got front your grandma is classic Kelsey! Your hair is beautiful!
You talking about the brush is old, I remember that flat iron from way back too!! I bought that flat iron because you had it!! I've had it for years now and it still works like a charm!!
Oh my goddddddd I have been obsessed with your videos for so many years! I remember watching these when I was in high school/ early college and just following step by step. So glad I found your page again🥰
I laughed so hard when she recommended starting in the front 😂. I have been doing it wrong. I've always started in the back and starting in the front makes SO MUCH MORE sense.
This video came right on time as I'm about to straighten my hair! I've been a subscriber since foreverrrrr and still look forward to your straightening routines when fall comes! I'm still working on getting my results to be as sleek as yours so I'll be checking out the products you used. Thanks!
I wish my hair looked that long lol. I'm tall so it looks waist length. You guy's hair is so pretty. I went completely natural as of 2015 and you guys really helped me grow my hair with all of your guys tips
Nice results! I also like to cut/trim only 1 - 2 times per year. I've seen the most growth for my relaxed hair this way...and it makes me more mindful to take care of my ends.
I really was thinking of straightening my hair because if not, Imma shave it off 🥴🥴. I am tired. But I definitely feel inspired to straighten it instead. I’m excited. Thanks Kelsey!!
Thanks for showing the chase method with a brush. Been trying to use a fine tooth comb but it was never working for me. Tried the brush and added a heat styling cream (Ion Smooth). Very happy with the results. Love your content!
Maybe use a separate bowl with 10vol for the ends. This will keep you from double processing those ends. Remember that color doesn’t lift color so putting the 20vol on already lifted hair can dry out your ends. Love watching you guys. Hope you know this is coming from a good place. #acosmetologist
Hey Glam Twinz we made it Thur the week it’s always great seeing you ladies😍😍much ♥️♥️♥️♥️. Enjoy your weekend and stay encouraged an keep on Manifest and positive vibes. Peace and blessings
Clicked so fast.😂My fav ladies on RUclips I do the same routine because of you ladies Curly thru the summer/ spring. Straight when it’s fall/winter. Thank you ❤️
Kelsey is always so thorough! Explanation and demonstration be on point Kels😘👍🏽. Btw, I've been using RedKen since you turned me on yrs ago. I also switched from my CHI iron to Sedu per your advice Kels. Kels for president!☺😉
Literally just searched straightening natural hair and your video comes up “posted 5 minutes ago” lol just on time I just know I need this much cut off as well
Y’all good. I wash my hair 3 or 4 times a year and I let the hairdresser do it. I just don’t have the patience to do my hair. It’s too much and too thick. If I do do my own hair, it’s a 3 day process. Nah, kudos to anyone with long thick hair and doing this every week
I wait at least a week or two. So the natural oils help the roots not sweat out as much. But there’s honestly no way to keep it looking good if you workout right after.

Chile I got a back ache, arm ache, shoulder pain and headache watching this. I have 1/4 of your hair and I’m exhausted after doing my hair. You are a boss❤️
Props to you and your arms because gworl.. wash day is a whole workout routine on top of everything else you did 👏🏿💪🏿💖🌟✨
Facts! I love long her, but it is an all day process. My arms and hands get tired quick!
Beautiful!!!
If you hold the dryer by the base /motor area you be more ergonomically correct and have less arm fatigue and more control over the air flow/pressure
New to RUclips would love if ya’ll checked us out! New video out every Wednesday! TAC 💓
How is it an all day process ?? You wash and condition lmao. You make it an all day process
I use to dream about your hair length man

Natural hair GOALS!!! I can’t wait to see Kendra routine!!! Hope all is well ladies.
I really get irritated when people thumb down their videos like what! Are you mad that you don’t look as good as her? Like what’s not to like about this video? It was very informative
They’re mad they are bald.

Oh my Gosh you really chopped some inches. It's so long and healthy. This is major work from beginning to end. we love it thanks for sharing.
Perfect timing. Planning on going straight this weekend!
GORGEOUS! A good trim makes all the difference in how healthy hair looks! Quality over quantity!
Great video! Just some tips & tricks for anyone watching...

Girl I totally understand. I have color and people still ask if it’s my real hair 🙄
SO satisfying to see someone cut what needs to be cut and not hold on to scraggly ends for the sake of length 👏🏽

Dear, can you tell me your e-mail?

Love your hair videos. I learned to go natural and grow my hair long because of you both😇
Love y’all😍! You ladies helped me grow my hair to waist length 🤗! I have locs now, but I’ll still watch😊! Thanks for sharing ❤️!
How do you keep your hair from curling back/frizzing when you workout??
I wait at least a week or two. So the natural oils help the roots not sweat out as much. But there’s honestly no way to keep it looking good if you workout right after.
Got it. Thanks!
The video hasn’t even started but I love y’all hair videos.
