Thanks for watching! Хобби
I like the voice overs watching ya'll wash, deep condition, blow dry, and straighten ya'll hair😔😔😔🫠🫠😓😓😓😓😭😭
me too 🥲
Riiiigh!? 😢
It’s silk press season. I’m sure they’ll do one
They have so many on the channel already lol go watch one that they already worked hard to record, edit and do
Lol I always just turn those on while I’m doing my hair so I don’t get bored. I hate how long it takes and it makes me realize I’m not alone.
Would you guys ever make a video how to maintain a silk press i.e. tips for going to the gym and how to make your press last?
Love when you guys show the versatility in your hair! 😍
Yes I was just about to ask this!
The would literally never
I don't think they go to the gym that often.
Henna treatment
Class is in session! Thank you Professors Kendra and Kelsey! Love ya'll!
I did every tip as you said and my silk press is outstanding!! It is silkyy and not frizzy like usual. Thank you!!
My daughter wants me to straighten her hair this weekend. This is right on time. Thanks!! ❤️❤️❤️
I ❤️❤️❤️❤️ your hair videos!!! Two of the best hair gurus here on youtube!!!
You too were thorough with this info. Really appreciate this video. I remember you two from many years ago. Still here looking good and rocking it.
THANK UUUUUUUUU!!!!
I didn't use the exact products y'all listed BUT I followed the blueprint for what to look for in the products used. I'm a licensed cosmetologist but I always felt like my silk press was missing something.... thanks for the valuable tips ladies!! ❣️
I need to do my winter silk press and I’ll be following these tips. I never thought about washing my combs and tools and washing them. Great tips!
Thank you, Ladies! Getting ready to start my straight hair routine this (East Coast)Winter. As always, I appreciate your wisdom and willingness to share with us, these proven tips and tricks that work ❤💯
great timing for the video ladies, it's silk press season 💪🏿🙌🏿
I followed your advice and OMG… for the first time ever my hair turned out very decent (because I didn’t want to bump up the heat). For the people who want to do it, really follow these tips! Thank you so much
Their energies are so different from each other. Love it.
Thank you for this. I appreciate the time spent to explain and educate. The visuals were nice too👍🏽
How did y’all know I’ve been watching silk press videos all week? 👀😂💖
Wow your hair!! The both of you really have some healthy hair!! I love it! ❤❤❤❤
Hair videos are so soothing ♥️
I love silk press videos!! I haven’t watched and I already liked it
I use that Redken line and I LOVE it! It smells so good and the results are bom. Thank you so much for a video that explains each step. I love watching when you do silk presses but this was a nice change. Beautiful as always ladies ❤🥰
Thanks for these tips! I followed all of these tips and got such a great silk press at home!
Wow, this was so helpful! As someone with dry, fine hair strands I’ve always been afraid to use much shampoo but couldn’t figure out why I could never get salon quality presses at home. I’ve been using the redken anti-breakage spray but now I’m going to purchase the shampoo, conditioner and hair mask for silk press season. Can’t wait to see the results!
I feel like those tutorials saved my hair and I watch them every year to get more tips❤ they are part of youtube history in my book😂😅
Hi ladies, love how y’all silk press came out! It looks soo soft and silky! ❤🥰🔥 I love the Redken All Soft line for my straight hair. I’m waiting for some cooler weather before I do my own silk press, tfs. Great tips! Y’all look beautiful! 🤎🍁🍂
Yes...making sure your hair is dry to the core is SO important. I usually dry on day and flat iron the next. I have a RevAir now and it makes a HUGE difference, I can flat iron the same day when I use it but it really pulls that moisture from my cortex.
Do you know if there is a cheaper dupe version of this or maybe a smaller version for short hair?
@@lasharisampsonlsthere is no dupe yet.
Love this…more videos like this plz. Also can you guys do a video on how to make your silk press last for up two 3 weeks. Like how to maintain it and prevent frizz.
Kendra hair looks so good love the style
Love your hair videos and vlogs ❤️
I hope you get this, I really thank you for actully giving true advice of getting your hair to look and feel natural, silkie, and healthy. Just got all of the products you suggested...and tickled- pink with how good my hair looks. Can't wait to use the wash-and-go product!!
You all got me all set for my winter blow dry and straighten!!! Now all I need is an appointment with Kelsey to assist 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
That picture is fire!! Fall Glam!
This is very helpful. Thank you ladies so much.
Redken Allsoft was my go to with relaxed hair. Loved it!
Very helpful video!! Thanks ladies!! ❤
Ladies, Thank you for all the hair advice. I love it 🥰 My natural curls I didn’t have a clue. Thank you so much 😊
Wow right on time !! ❤
Thank you ladies 😊 ❤ I’m going to be trying this in December
Listen I have been trying to master my silk press since I been natural for years, but Imma get tho. Love these tips!
Thanks for the great information as usual.🌹
I get exactly what y’all mean. I’ve watched the videos, but this will be helpful because I’ve been getting different results lately and I’m now realizing that I’m skipping steps I’ve never skipped before.
Great video! ❤
Great video beautiful sister and thank you both for the information 😀
I like the tutorial in between talking about the products 👍
I love all of your videos very informative
This came right on time ❤
Ladies…your hair looks great!!!
Thank you I love these tips ❤️
I learned everything about my silk presses from you two! Thanks for this. I started using Kenra and a brush because of you guys. My only additional question is what lip products you two are wearing. I love the looks!
Thanks for the tips!
Thank you this was very helpful!!!
Excellent video and information ladies! ❤
Beautiful hair, thank you for the information
Great info! Thanks so much!!!
Using these steps today👌🏾
Hello Ladies, my daughter has been trying to silk press her hair and I didn't realize that product and how to use them makes a difference. Thank you for this video it was very helpful
Thank you guys for sharing you guys are beautiful and love your hair 💛💛💛💛💛💛.
❤Thank you so much! I have learned a lot from both of you. I finally did an amazing wash-and-go after watching Kelsey do hers.
I am not sure if it was the products or because I finally sectioned and spent extra time working in the product. But, until I get a few more amazing wash-and-goes I am sticking with this:
• Cowash= Suave “Charcoal & Aloe Vera Clarifying Conditioner”
• Conditioner= Pantene “Repair & Protect”
• Deep Conditioner= Curls’ “Cashmere + Caviar Hair Masque”
• Leave-in Conditioner= Miss Jessie’s “Multi-Cultural Curls”
• Styler= Miss Jessie’s “Coily Custard”
• Top Oil= 100% Cold pressed argan oil
Very helpful video. Thanks!
Love the tips
This is good. Thanks so much!
Great tips!!!
Great advice 😊😊
Silk press season. That tickled me for some reason 😄. Thanks for the tips.
I really enjoyed your information on a silk press
Great video! Salon products works best for straight hair.
I’d used Redken and Joico years ago and when the formulations changed over the years, I stopped. All Soft was originally Butter Treat that made my hair so soft and you could use it as a leave in.
Very Helpful ❤
This was sooo helpful
This was very helpful! I’m going to try this on my leave out lol
Whenever I wash my hair I put my combs and brushes in the sink so they get washed as well. Thanks for the great tips.
Kelsey && Kendra, I love both of your hair!!!!!!! You make me want to go to Ulta and sephora for hair products 🥰🥰 hope you ladies have a good weekend!!!
This video came right when I was thinking about whether to straighten my hair now or later. It hasn't been cold enough for me. NC weather is all over the place. It's in the 70's right now. I don't want my hair reverting after all that work lol. When I'm ready to do it I always follow the glamtwinz method....hasn't failed me yet.
SAME BOAT AS YOU IM TRAVEL FOR WORK AND NEW HERE IN NC
ONG yall are so cute 🥰 I’m going to start my journey and I appreciate the tips!!
Thank you for these tips and tricks I've normally watched the voiceover videos over the years but I loved the educational aspect of this video ❤💕#wherestheredkensponsorship 😂
you are so pretty i love ur makeup so much😍😍
I love yall 💗
I love both videos 🎉❤
Thank you great video
Salon products help so much with my results especially since I don’t have the cosmo techniques
Love it thank you ladies. I would love to see different things you can do with your hair when going to the gym. Even though I’m there to work out I still don’t like the granny scarf or bonnet look 😂any ideas?
Great tips. Will try redkin products,
The Friday vibes have begun 😊
Thank You Guys
Thank you for sharing! Can you do a tutorial on your makeup looks, please?
Thank you for the tips I wash everything I use before I silk press my hair .
Thanks for sharing 👍.
I remember watching your first videos about it in 2011. ❤❤❤❤
Please make a video showing your silk press tools and discuss what temperature your use on your flat iron.
still the gurus. if I silked pressed I would your steps to the letter😍
Thank you so much for this video! I was wondering how you ladies felt about the biosilk leave in oil??? Thank you
Happy Birthday Divas, enjoy your day #Blessed Scorpios #Nov8❤️🎂🎂🌹🙌🏾☺️🥰🥰❣️🎁🕯️🧁🧁☀️🙏🏾☀️!!!!
I have that redken leave in and hadn’t used it in a long time, I’m gonna use it in the next wash, I’ve been using The IGK good behavior leave in.
Wash and go - 3c/4, high density, high porosity, frizzy, crown breakage - 5 years - mid back & shoulder length- layers - but even when curly -
Lol - this entire time and now I find out - I only needed to buy salon grade shampoo and deep conditioners (apply with heat), leave in, and cream (apply both in sections in shower). End outside and style with gel - - I can finally use salon botanical gels and they work - Jeez - now my wash And go looks amazing- money well spent for a long lasting 7 day style. Sit under hooded dryer and diffuse after for a smooth curl set.
Technique on how to style always matter!!
Now my hair is so much easier to detangle - than drug store products
Now I’m going continue this routine till mid fall for a potential blow out / flat iron routine
RUclipsrs aren’t showing us the real truth - they use salon brands regularly- and have great hair stylists who keep up with their cuts and trims.
I love the glam Twinz - I just know I need expensive products for a gorgeous natural wash and go -
These tips were very explained. I wonder about how to work in protein treatments 🤔
I kept the old packaging of that Redken anti-snap, the pump is much better than the spray
Great information! Any recommendations on heat settings for the flat iron?
A trick I learned from you two is to wait a bit before flat ironing because the scalp will trick you like it's dry.
My Jesus I love you ladies ❤😊
LATE CHIMING IN, BUT I TOTALLY AGREE ABOUT THE REDKIN. ANOTHER GOOD ONE IS PAUL MITCHELL SUPER SKINNY AND SUPER STRONG SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER
Great tips! Have y'all tried the revair?
Good tips. I'd tried to straighten my hair today but it didn't come on out the way I wanted
