Agreed. Health over length. Once you get rid of the split ends and know what your hair needs. There will be a dramatic difference in hair growth and retention.
Yessss! My hair grew so much, since I’ve been watching them. They are amazing for sharing their tips and techniques with us. I am forever grateful. These girls are AMAZING at what they do! Now that I exercise more, it’s crazy how my hair is flowing. My diet is on and off. Everyone is different, but before the exercising, I’ve seen the difference in my hair.😊🥰
Kendra your hair looks amazing!!! These products worked great on you an Kelsey hair, over the last ten years of being a subscriber all your recommendations have been the truth so I’ll be trying these products!
Don’t care how many times I watch y’all do your hair, I’m still in awe. It’s a 3 day process when I do my own hair. Is it practice why y’all can do this in a day? My arms gets so tired. I get so frustrated that I end up at the hairdresser to do mine. Y’all really making me what to purchase that Adwoa shampoo and conditioner though.
I agree 100% my arms so bad (feels like arm day 😂) that I usually stop and end up wetting my hair wearing it curly and setting an appointment to get it flat ironed
Since they taught me the brush chase method years ago I don’t straighten my hair any other way! Only need one pass versus with a comb I’d have to keep going over it
Lol not gonna lie, Kendra’s face with what sounds like Kelsey’s voiceover at times is throwing me off. That’s how I know I’ve been a supporter for well over a decade. 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣 Enjoyed the video and updated tutorial as always ❤️
I’d like to see a video “Bath time with Straightened hair” to teach us some tips and tricks of remaining straight without curls reverting from the heat and humidity of bath time
What works for me is wrapping my hair in a scarf or covering it with a bonnet then putting a good quality thick shower cap over that. This way all hair and edges are protected from moisture.
@@blackroze1471 I don't. I take the shower cap off as soon as I get out of the shower and then once I'm dressed I take the scarf off. Make sure not to use a silky scarf though because that may make your head sweat.
I’ve been using my swim cap to keep my straight hair from reverting. I cover my edges using a silicone head band, then slip a swim cap over top the silicone head band. The sleeve creates a water tight seal between the swim cap and you. Locking out the steam and water, which keeps my hair straight. Had to find a way to repurpose my swim gear over the winter lol purchased the silicone sleeve from headcovers unlimited, and the swim cap from swimma. That’s my tip on how to keep your hair straight while bathing. Hope you find this helpful.
I get so excited to see a new hair straightening video! If you have brittle hair I wouldn’t suggest tapping the roots multiple times. I did that once years ago and my hair broke off. If you have a good quality flat iron one solid pass is enough. Even on course hair ❤️
I use a ceramic chi dupe from Sally’s and hit my roots two times max! My hair would be on the floor if I did that many passes but her hair is super healthy looking so I’m not surprised that she can get away with it!
Never heard of it until now, but I'm gonna try the haircare line thanks to you! I bought black all Black Friday and felt sooo good about it. We gotta support our businesses. God bless you sis!
Kendra I just love your hair!! It’s strong and healthy I am trying to grow my hair back by using vegepower vegan hair vitamins and I switched up my leave in conditioner to L’Oréal elvive total repair 5 power restore it’s been working so far it stopped my hair from shedding!! Thank the lord because I was really scared of the clumps of shedded hair and it’s doing very good now I watch and see what products I guys use. God bless you
I recently found hair gloss. I personally do not dye my hair, but I wanted my hair to have more dimension. I tried a hair clear gloss. Game changer. My hair has shine and dimension. Salon results.
Same….I’m convinced ladies who maintain straight hair aren’t sweating a lot everyday. When i began my fitness journey a few years ago my straight hair went out the window. I’m trying to go back but basically i can’t work out the first 7 days. Le sigh.
They don't really workout. If you do workout, you have to do what works best for you. Def keep up with your fitness journey though bc it sounds like that works for you and good luck with everything
I wear my hair straight and I still workout and sweat. like hot yoga sweat and I usually wear my hair in a low bun or high bun. Secure those edges and then Once the work out is done I let my hair rest and dry then I go in and gently detangle if needed I also preserve my hair in a twisted bun to give me texture throughout the week. My hair doesn’t sweat out as bad even when I do take super sweaty workout classes, but everyone is different. I found what works best for me. Try some of those suggestions and see what might work. I love working out so I don’t mind having to nourish and preserve my hair.
@@tammy1426 honestly...i think my plan is to transition to straight hair anytime my hair is out a protective style (braids) to try and heat train it...but i think when i want heavy workouts imma just have to keep it in braids most the time...and ill do lighter workouts when my hair is loose. ive been experimenting this last straightening and i think im working it out :)
WOW so beautiful 😍 it's the consistency of content for me. I feel like my curl pattern is becoming similar to yours definitely excited to try this in January. What heat setting was the Dyson on ?
Ayyyyy I see someone else still using that throwback Sedu flat iron!!! it really is amazing. Mine is loose in the handle but it still works amazingly well.
I am going to change up my routine because the strainer I use is not good will try a better 2 in 1 straight iron. I will use oleplex to bond my hair too.
I use the Rev Air to blow out my hair. Tyro ring hair straightener to straighten the hair. To straighten the edges I use an electric straightening comb. I apply a spray light leave in and heat hair spay protectant before blow drying. These tools for me make the process a lot easier.
I baby my ends too. I shampoo the scalp typically. The only time I would shampoo my ends is if I have curled that day and have gel or hairspray throughout my whole head. Otherwise I don't. I shampoo twice on my wash days and when I lather the second time I feel like enough suds are made to run down the length of my hair when I rinse.
Heathy an thick hair an thx for sharing an products Bomb an I’m hoping Today Is A Better Day Then Yesterday and positive vibes and mind. Peace and blessings
Love the end results with these products. How many times a year do you usually straighten your hair while being able to go back to curly? I want to start straightening mines more often I’ve been doing once every year or so.
Please try the reverse hair dryer called RevAir! I promise that you will love it! It will dry you hair faster with no brushing, less heat! You may or may not need to flat iron afterwards!
Looks good as always. #hairgoals. When u section ur hair my arms start feeling tired 🥴 I just realized y’all live in atl which is the capital of black hairstylist lolz. Have u ladies been tempted to try anyone?
Stunning! both of you n every time. A few questions... my daughter has hair which seems similar to yours. Any tips on heat styling the finer hair at the front, she has very very fine hair at the hair line. Any tips for this- her hair also just doesn’t remain straight, it pulls moisture from the air of sorts. E.g. even when it isn’t damp out or hot sweaty wether it just goes back to the blow dry looking stage automatically. Lastly have you tried/ever done pin curl? How was it, if not done pin curls have you done any bouncy blow dry of sorts? Love watching you 2 get glam. You help and really inspire us! X
To add: I straighten her hair as best as I know how basically almost mirrors the technique used here. It just doesn’t remain straight... the straightener on a good temperature, hair is prepared well, from wash and conditioning to heat protectant everything’s all good, it’s just that issue of it not staying straight.
hey hey, these videos are so helpful. Do you have a video talking about the heating tools that you use besides the dyson? What kind of flat iron do you think works best for your hair?
Man when I tell you my hair has seen so much growth following you guys, you guys are the truth !
Did you also change your diet to help with hair growth?
Not really just treating my hair better
Literally! Longest my hair has ever been in my life.

Beautiful hair!

Beautiful Kendra!!!! Hair still looking bomb after all these years! 💕💕💕
