I’ve been following the channel for two years now. I buy every product and follow your directions. Thanks to y’all my hair has grown 6 inches in the past two years! Thank you for the healthy hair advice!
I always look forward to y’all straightening routine since I only straighten my hair twice a year. I understand how some people preferred the usual voiceover while your straighten your hair. However I really enjoyed the sit down talk with clips of how you wash, blow dry, and flat iron. You explained each product and tool of your choice, why you chose them, and how you utilize them within your routine. It was very detailed and informative. I personally appreciate that!
Can y'all start doing "deep conditioning fridays" where u try different deep condotioners on friday. Give some background info on the product, tell us what you did and didn't like and would you recommend that product. O you 2 could do it together to make it even more interesting to see if it works the same. That would b a good segment for your channel.
*yall just continue to spoil us and bless us with these videos and the beauty and inspiration!!! every time y'all upload a video, it feels like christmas all over again*
I just started washing my hair/flat ironing once every 3 weeks this straight hair season and it’s such a great tip and I’m glad you mentioned it. It honestly decreases the amount of heat damage you get when you switch back.
Had to take a break from my accounting homework to check this out! I've been waiting for an upload from you ladies today! I'm wanting to straighten my hair so I am here for new tips and tricks! Kendra you're hair is looking sooooo beautiful!
Omg!!! Can someone please tutor me!!! I'm a accounting major too in my junior year and this sh*t has me contemplating if I wanna just put stickers on fruit instead 😭
Jordyn Dillihay Yeah it’s definitely hard, especially if you have no experience with it. I literally had to re-evaluate my whole life last semester LMAO! But I got through it and passed with a B. And this semester I’m doing pretty good as well, thank goodness this is my last accounting class. 🙌🏽 I understand how you feel though I was so stressed last semester I had countless nights where I cried and I was so damn confused. But it gets better I promise.
Loved the video Kendra! Have you ever tried one of the microwaveable deep conditioning caps? And btw, that ending 😂 "my stomach is growling so it's time for me to go." I feel you because I say that quite frequently 😂😂
I made that same mistake and stop using the redken leave in conditioner and my hair was not the same. I feel you. Never making that mistake again 😂😂. I wash my hair once a month. I have type 4C hair and it doesn’t benefit me to wash more than that. Great video as always. I can’t wait to try the products you use. I’m still following your old hair routine 😂😂
Straightened my hair and used the Amika deep conditioner, Redken Anti-Snap, Kenra Spray and Tresemme heat protectant and Living Proof oil and had NOTICEABLY LESS fall out and breakage. I’m so amazed because my hair breaks all the time. This routine is a game-changer, people!
It's called a License not a degree...and I know a lot of Licensed stylists who still don't know what they're talking about. My advice is for a person to do their own research and find out what works for their hair.
+Mr. Magoo Good Morning, unfortunately I cannot agree with you. Look @ Moknowshair - She's Aveda Licensed Cosmetologist, does hair Consults has her business in NYC but stays true to Aveda Products. Very few in between do you see Mo using different things. If she do, it's to your discretion as well as how to care for Curly hair. Carefully view. Yes they're do well with their hair but it's too much inconsistency. Plus you have to know what works for you NOT buy everything you see😨
Thanks Kendra! Most of the products I use on my hair are as a direct result of your and Kelsey's routines. I do switch it up a bit too though. I started my natural hair journey -- if you will -- about sometime in early 2013. I even bought the Sedu flatiron a few years ago too, and IT IS AMAZING!!! GREAT PRODUCT AND VERY DURABLE!!! Thanks for sharing!!!
I know you guys do this kind of review every year but I love them all!!!! Thanks for yet another great in depth review on your straight hair routine!!! ❤️❤️❤️ you guys have put me on to some of the best hair products and I fall in love with them every time!
Thanks for sharing your updated straight hair video Kendra. I really need to invest in these hair tools. Great and informative video Kendra. 💕🙌🏾 Hair is FLAWLESS.
Uggh I just love y’all! 😩 I’ve been watching this channel ever since I did my big chop almost 5 years ago and my hair is past mid back length 😍 I bought the Sedu flat iron, the blow dry spray, red ken anti snap, chi, everything y’all had years ago, I had lol ! 💗💗
I tried the Kenra blow dry spray after seeing their last “updated routine” from a few years ago.... & lawd Jesus that product is AMAZING. My blow dry time was actually cut in half & I have 4B & 4C hair!!!! Thank you twins for the recommendation ❤️
Girl you need the paddle brush blow dryer and you’ll be done blow drying your hair in 20 minuets!!! This ain’t no ad or nothing like that but I used it in my latest video along with the kenra platinum blow dry spray dupe from the generic brand at sallys, I think you would be interested in seeing those two products . Ps y’all should do a vs. video on comparing the two products just saying
Hi kendra! I know I'm not the only one who was waiting for this straightening hair video. :) this is gonna help me when I decide to straighten my hair. Like I said bf I will be putting one or two of the products that you use in my phone for future reference. I know that y'all really listen and love all of your subscribers to post a video that's highly recommended. :) that's so selfless of you ladies. I love, love, love the hair, makeup and outfit as always. ♥ I love your nail color by the way. One last thing: kendra, you just made me remember that I have a cap like that to put on my hair when deep conditioning my hair. I have to find it though. Lol. And I also prefer the plastic caps. :)
I've been so scared to straighten my hair after I got it done at a salon but I'm going to try it myself this year using these tips. Thanks so much for the video, I ❤️ you guys!
I wash my hair in the kitchen sink, because my mom did hair for a living and that's how she washed my hair, in the kitchen sink.lol I was my neices hair like that too.
When you go to the salon they wash your hair in a sink, so I'm not sure why people look at your crazy when they find out where you shampoo. I prefer sink washing because it uses less water and easier clean up.
Same ! I switch up my shampoo and conditioner everytime i wash my hair otherwise it will not work because my hair will get use to it same goes with oils, deep conditioner and styling cream
You have got to try the jessicurl too shea conditioner! Its so rich and creamy and one of the main ingredients is shea butter. I usually use ALOT of conditioner but with this one a little goes a LONG way. I feel instant moisture before even massaging it in!
I've been using Matrix Biolage products for years. The Ultra hydrating was always my favorite. Some of my friends and customers would always laugh and say that those products weren't for our hair. I'd have to remind them that my hair was thicker and more curly than theirs. My hair is super coilly and long. A few inches shy of the twins. Hair doesn't have a race, it has a texture. And these products work great on my texture. Redken anti-snap was another staple in my Hair care regimen. Now I feel the same way about some Carol's Daughter products and Deva Curl. Kenra heat protectant is bomb too! They are staples. Great video!
Your hair has grown a lot in the past few months. Your top about a good blow dry is essential I order for your flat iron to be good is key!!! Thanks as always for sharing your knowledge. 👸🏽
When my hair gets that long in 2063 it’s over for everybody!
😩😩🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂
LMBO! I am done with you!
😂😂
Meghan Dandridge 😂😆🤣😅 "2063"
JOURDAN LONDON I’m coming for everything and everyone just wait on it 🤣🤣🤣
I’ve been following the channel for two years now. I buy every product and follow your directions. Thanks to y’all my hair has grown 6 inches in the past two years! Thank you for the healthy hair advice!
Leigh White does your hair grow quite slowly then? I don't mean any offence. I just always thought hair grows 6 inches a year on average x
jacpppp Yes. It grows pretty slow on it’s on and i deal with a lot of breakage.
Leigh White 98
broski
Leigh White slow and steady win the race. That’s a lot of new growth to maintain. Kudos love
gurrrl for a minute from your hair I thought I was looking at Kesley........ your hair grew super fast- amazing!!!

I like this idea !
Her hair has grown gorgeously kendra is so beautiful 😍😍
I know these videos may seem repetitive to you n Kelsey but I am truly enlightened every time you all post! Seriously THE BEST TIPS on RUclips
I prefer washing my hair in the sink too. Not because of bacne I just don’t like hair in my crack 😖 lol or on my body period.
I Agree about the crack & body....lol
😂😂 same. I can’t stand the feeling of conditioner running down my clean body.
I thought I was the only one 😷
Same here
😂😂 I hate that
The picture quality looks like it has up-ed so much! Love it! And yes we love seeing this EVERY year lol. so thank you guys!
If my hair were that long I wouldn't know how to keep my head still. I'd flip that hair all day.
“Her hair’s naturally straight. She’s just touchin up.” 🤣😂idk that was funny to me
*yall just continue to spoil us and bless us with these videos and the beauty and inspiration!!! every time y'all upload a video, it feels like christmas all over again*
I just started washing my hair/flat ironing once every 3 weeks this straight hair season and it’s such a great tip and I’m glad you mentioned it. It honestly decreases the amount of heat damage you get when you switch back.
These are my fave. Y’all don’t even have to change anything from year to year and I’ll still watch 😂😊

Apparently, what you're doing is working very well, whether you switch it up or keep it the same. Your hair is flourishing and looks amazing!
Hey Kendra ❤ thanks for coaching me for my next wash day. Love your make up and beautiful hair.

Girl life is way too short to only flat iron your hair once every 6-7 years
Yyyaaaayyyyy I was binge watching y'all videos so I could keep myself busy til a new upload😏😏😏😏
Stephanie Walker I do the same thing
I think people forgot that they have cosmetology degrees or whatever you call it 😂 so they know what they’re taking about
It's called a License not a degree...and I know a lot of Licensed stylists who still don't know what they're talking about. My advice is for a person to do their own research and find out what works for their hair.
Music Games they are beauty blogger is their job try new products
+Music Games Very true
+Music Games I agree with you. Unfortunately not everyone sees it the way you do or realize it. You're speaking 'Common Sense'.
+Mr. Magoo Good Morning, unfortunately I cannot agree with you. Look @ Moknowshair - She's Aveda Licensed Cosmetologist, does hair Consults has her business in NYC but stays true to Aveda Products. Okay y'all I can vouch for the Kenra product, it works SUPER well!!! You're hair dries soooo much faster!!!
Thanks Kendra! Most of the products I use on my hair are as a direct result of your and Kelsey's routines. I do switch it up a bit too though. JustSimply Marie I wash my hair in the sink too
JustSimply Marie Those be the best washes, lol. 💯
I always thought that was weird. But thanks because my mom never did that. How do y’all feel about people washing their kids in the kitchen sink?
When you go to the salon they wash your hair in a sink, so I'm not sure why people look at your crazy when they find out where you shampoo. I prefer sink washing because it uses less water and easier clean up.
We got that la, la, la!!!!

I tried the Biolage conditioner, thanks for the recommendation. LOVE it.
You have got to try the jessicurl too shea conditioner! Its so rich and creamy and one of the main ingredients is shea butter. I usually use ALOT of conditioner but with this one a little goes a LONG way. I feel instant moisture before even massaging it in!
Because of Kendra, I just spent a 💰 at Ulta. I owe my entire stash and my inches to you two 😜
Yassssssssssss Kendra you slay per usual. Love your makeup look today. It’s beautiful as always. ❤️
in the demonstration your eyebrows look extra amazing!!!!!!!
