Nice truck josh my dad has a freightliner Coronado 03' with a eaton 13 speed and 1,480,000 miles on it. He redid the differentials and some of the Motor because it burned a bit of oil. Now it dosent burn a thing and rides like a dream
Congrats Josh !! I have a 02' Century, with a n14. I went through it, and fixed all the little things, and they love it. It rides very well, handles well, and turns on a dime. You will like Century.
the good thing is that you have your dad, he can give you so much advise on how to be a success as an o/o, and buying a use truck to start is a great way to make money, as long as you do most of the maintenance in the truck yourself.
Dude I love your truck! I must admit I know next to nothing about trucking but I really like it. Looks like you can leave the little bedside windows open for diesel to get some air without it bothering you. I really like it man congrats!
Congratulations Josh, I know exactly how you feel and I will never forget how proud I was when I was able to buy my first truck. You will never want to work for someone else again. A new chapter is opening in your life now and I know by watching and listening to you that you were ready for this move. Josh you have a great attitude and you are not afraid of working the hours you need to , you also know how to deal with people, theres no doubt you will do very well. GOD BLESS JOSH
I had a 22" 1080p TV in my century kept the laptop in the hole behind the TV then used wireless keyboard and trackball mouse. The TV was my computer monitor. I'll try to send you pics of my super simple mount I made from home depot supplies in about 30 min during my 10 hour break. Also pipe insulation foam works great around the edges of the hole to protect the tv
Nice frieght shaker there Josh. Nothings ever wrong with them they tend to having it right from the start. And they are easily workable when trying to get it in f/repairs done on them...usually in route fixes at the TA's are always good. Just keep it maintained and take care of it. It will always take Care of you. Good choice made on your part. I really do like their closer radius turning capabilities than those long&loopy ones. ;) c-ya.
Nice tour. I like the cooler in the passenger footwell. It's at the same height as the seat if you padded the top of it you would have a nice area for diesel to sprawl out. Lots of room in that truck!
Congrads!! That is one nice truck. You would be hard pressed to find an interior in better condition than that one, I didn't see one minor flaw in it. You can certainly tell that it belonged to a previous O/O. I would be proud to own that truck!
Hey josh aneother secret of these trucks is. There should be another fuse box left side of the drivers seat. That panel. Also the bed you sleep on comes up and there is a storage for all your winter clothes boots sodas etc. I drove my Columbia for a year before I came across the storage and fuse box
I absolutely love the Peterbilt 386 my dad hauls live stock and drives a 2011 386 it's got a C15 cat with emissions taken off and turned up to 600 horses been rebuild 3 times and it's got 1,000,000+ miles but nice truck man!
Nice. Such a big step in life. Im waiting for the perfect time to go OO. Picked a good power unit. The first model Century Freightshaker was the first truck I had OTR. I was a diehard for them. Till I got into a international. Now I swear if my Rig was a girl Id marry her.
Thanks for the tour, as you say the cooler is a bit big for that space but I'm sure Diesel will enjoy this extended viewing platform rather than having to always sit on the seat to view out from the front. You are obviously very pleased with it and look forward to watching future videos of you using it. Will it get a radiator blind for your cold weather as I noticed it did not have one installed in the previous video?
Very nice good luck and be safe out there,i drove a1992 back alongtime ago for frymiller out of Bakersield California.I think it had a Detroit init great truck.
The other day me and my dad were in our Ferrari 458 and a truck pulled up next to us (at traffic lights) and started "revving" like he wanted a race 😂👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
hey josh was that truck leased to Bisson before I saw the Bisson Gold on the door Frame? and your right , cant beat the century class for room I drove one when I was at challenger and loved it, the only Thing was in winter in cross winds you sure felt it but all in all a good rig with a super turning radius.
Its a very nice and roomy truck. I myself could careless the brand cause I know it comes down to how well you maintain the vehicle as to how well it runs.
My first truck was a 387. After getting the seat adjusted so that I could hit the pedals properly, I noticed then that I could barely see the nose mirror because their dashes are just so high. I've since been in quite a few Freightliners and a Pro-Star, I much prefer the lower dashes that they have. Much safer of a ride. (for me anyway)
What the hell is Kenworth doing nowadays?? Their new rigs are UGLY and not as comfortable!! I almost hate to say it but International has done some amazing work with the ProStar series.
It is a good looking Freightliner Josh, and I'm grad Diesel approves of it. If Diesel had given it a thumbs down, you would of had to try a different truck…..:-)
You need to change your intro where diseals head comes out of the peterbuilt logo it needs to be freightliner now lol and if you dont mind me asking what did you pay roughly ?
FL Century is the Crown Vic of trucks: All practical, nothing fancy and everyone knows how to fix it. Enjoy your new truck,

I'm Happy For You & Diesel :D Good Decision .
Hey josh nice lookin Freightliner lots of room you and Diesel got own beds Rickey
Your right about a stepping stone...I started hotshot using with a ram 2500to a chevy 3500 then to a 1999 kW w900 now I'm in a 2015 kW
Nice. Such a big step in life. Im waiting for the perfect time to go OO. Picked a good power unit. The first model Century Freightshaker was the first truck I had OTR. I was a diehard for them. Till I got into a international. Now I swear if my Rig was a girl Id marry her.
You should throw on some lights on the side skirts to pretty it up a bit, and maybe some chrome too
also you might want to look into replacing the interior lights with led lights ,makes it a lot brighter and uses less wattage to turn the bulbs on
Love it trucker josh so much room more then my dads international
great tour Josh
Can you please show that tv mount once you've made it sounds like a cool concept
Videos like this make me want to be a trucker on the side....
Wow that truck is awesome
Thanks for the tour, as you say the cooler is a bit big for that space but I'm sure Diesel will enjoy this extended viewing platform rather than having to always sit on the seat to view out from the front.

Exactly Josh...If you like it that's all that counts!
Nice truck!
Beautiful truck.
Nice truck looks like a good solid truck that should last you a long while
Trucker josh, you should buy a APU, its a HUGE convenience,it will save you money (compared to idling) and also your batteries will never go dead
My first truck was a 387. After getting the seat adjusted so that I could hit the pedals properly, I noticed then that I could barely see the nose mirror because their dashes are just so high. Real nice truck.
Nice Truck ! So when are you gonna take us for a ride ?
I miss my old Freightliner. Much better interior design than the Kenworth T680 that I now have.
What the hell is Kenworth doing nowadays?? Their new rigs are UGLY and not as comfortable!! I almost hate to say it but International has done some amazing work with the ProStar series.
0:10 what’s the background music name?
It is a good looking Freightliner Josh, and I'm grad Diesel approves of it. If Diesel had given it a thumbs down, you would of had to try a different truck…..:-)
DD15 or Merc power? Wouldn't mind an under hood tour.
Will you personalize the paint, or do you need to put the company's logos on it?
You need to change your intro where diseals head comes out of the peterbuilt logo it needs to be freightliner now lol and if you dont mind me asking what did you pay roughly ?
keep up the good work
Hey Josh ! On your logo , Diesels head is coming out of peter bilt logo soo are you gonna fix it ?
Rottie+Lab+Collie? No shit Diesel is the best dog ever, what an amazing combo! Like a trifecta of the smartest most loyal dogs.
