Question when you did the daytime running lights did you upgrade the flasher relay or something my turn signals not working what color wires did you connect ?
@@rodneyjohnson2064 check the feed line and if that's not it look for oil leaks on that side of the motor sometimes your fan will blow it down the side of your motor
I used to haul milk with a clapped out 99 century just like that one. Everything leaked, none of the guages worked, junk mismatched tires, cab was sagging, mileage was unknown, lol the list goes on. But ill tell ya what that truck always got the job done. #freightshaker
I’m looking at buying a century with a 60 series Detroit engine with a new automatic transmission it has 800,000 Miles on it I found some things wrong with it but it’s in good shape he told me 13,500 to get everything dot ready and few fixes I’m looking at 6500 to 8,000 on repairs for the truck what your thoughts
I would suggest a manual, 10 speeds are easy to find and tough as heck.. try looking for a truck that is ready to roll dot ready so you don't have to fix a bunch of stuff right off the bat.
@@MakeMoneyTrucking so you would say it’s not worth fixing with a new transmission I just don’t like automatic manual are easier to find but I just don’t like shifting
@@MakeMoneyTrucking One more question I been looking up parts for my freightliner columbia but it has a c 15 engine in it but every time I look up parts it says Detroit engine on the part can I use that part or I have to find one pacifically for c15 engine
Just got my 08 cascadia and is the identical motor and similar interior
Nice congrats 👍

Whats that tank in-between the frame rail in front of the 5th wheel
Probley an air tank for the air brakes and suspension
How much would it cost to overhaul that 14L Detroit?
Between 10k and 20k depending on who you use and parts used
I agree...I got an 08 to I deleted the egr and the regen and turned it up 100 hp @ deisel dr in efenham ...it always gets me home 👍👍
Hell ya same here 👍
Any check engine light after deleting the EGR. I have heard of Diesel Dr. in Effingham Ill. Called them once too.
@@coreyadams4646 they can make sure you don't have check engine lights i still have lights on but just need an updated tune
No...the computer system works fine...the other day my water level sensor was out and as soon as it went out the truk shut down
