Just stumbled onto your channel. COVID is 2 years in, the gov't has declared an emergency and Putin is doing his best to start WWIII but your joy from doing your job shines through and is contagious. It's going to be OK. Thanks brother.
I like your video's , I have never been to Canada, and you take me on your way through to places that are really pretty., thank you for letting me tag along. I live in the U.S.A. even thro not that far from the boader but with everything going on here I am better off watching trucker video's to do my travels. :) stay safe and warm and thank you for what you do to make my life easier.
First time watching, I like this guy. Thanks for showing us the T680. The more I drive a Freighliner, the more I’m loving a Kenworth. It’s my next truck. It’s made for truck drivers, not just for business like the Freightliner. And yes I also love driving through small towns, like today I drove through 5 small towns on the outskirts of Kansas and Nebraska. It was just beautiful. I stopped and had a good breakfast. New sub 💪🏾
18:10, also slow down for refuse trucks! Nearly hundreds of garbage truck drivers die from distracted drivers colliding into them each year. Many rural areas are still collected manually by rear loaders and MSLs, hence the reason so many casualties. Just thought I’d let everyone know!
FWIW, Boston Pizza was started in Newport Beach California in the 1980s by a Jewish guy from Boston. It failed in the US but seemed to survive elsewhere
No wonder Josh is impressed, that truck is the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe and everything! See if anyone gets the reference Lots of love
This video made me happy. Your love for this truck is contagious. I'm working on becoming a trucker and I hope to drive a beautiful automatic just like that soon.
In the US atleast, most companies new trucks are the auto-stick transmissions. They are allot better than the original "automatic" truck transmissions.
So nice to see a Canuck truck driver. I was born in Winnipeg and where you are heading is where my great grandparents selttled. Im so looking forward to this video. Hi from BC
I love your Videos! I work for Paccar & work in our roadside breakdown department. Watching your videos gives me a great perspective of what you drivers have to deal with.
Josh you sold me on the 680, company sent two down from Calgary to the Maritimes with the two pedals, and gave them to 2 Hardcore 18spd 600hp Kenworth drivers...well I had to laugh when the two of them melted, and you cant pry the keys off them...
Kenworth’s are awesome. My husband and I just purchased a W900L Kenworth ✔️ 86” Studio Sleeper ✔️ 280” Wheelbase ✔️ 18 Speed Transmission ✔️ 500X15 Cummins Engine
Josh I have been watching your videos since the get go, I think I could find my way around Canada pretty good. When we hook up the trailer for our camping trip I always look for local roads so I can really see the country. God Bless brother
I've had to spread those plug prongs a few times myself to get a better connection. You're right about don't spread them too far or they might break. Another thing that works is to clean out the receptacles with a skinny wire brush which helps to clean the gunk out. Just put it in and twirl it around a few times. Sometimes a spark plug gapping tool has a skinny wire brush attached. Another thing that works is a rolled up piece of fine sandpaper twirled around inside the receptacle.
There is a reason that a lot of US carriers love T680s. They have good fuel efficiency, they work really well for van hauling and they have lots of space in the cabin. They make wonderful trucks for those that drive in teams.
Hey Josh, really enjoy your videos! While I am not a truck driver myself, I vicariously am one through your videos! I have been meaning to ask if you've ever considered using the driver and passenger seatbelts to secure the doors just in case somebody tries to break the door locks. I have seen other truck drivers do this for added security.
I'm in my young 20s. Started as a G class driver. Have been doing it for 3 years. Going for my dz this week then hopefully and eventually get my AZ. Would be cool if a company was willing to pay for it since it's very expensive where I am. Dz price is reasonable here 3750$ plus tax. These videos are great to watch and gives me an idea what to expect. I do love my manual trucks but I would be okay with auto too once in awhile. Rest the knee lol. Hope to do long haul as well.
Hi Josh . The law on passing cops and tow trucks should be for any one on the shoulder . I got a tire change on the 401 Toronto . Cars trucks passing two feet away from us at 100 km plus . The tire man told me go wait in the cab . No cense both of us getting mashed.
I am currently on (the final days of being on) my trainers truck which is a T680 and that upper bunk isn’t terrible to sleep in… and those storage pods do hold a lot! It drives alright but it’s a little jumpy… maybe I just haven’t had enough time with it yet.
Currently in a T680 from my company fleet. Bare bones, no table, no fridge but it is a solid truck except one thing in particular. That automatic. I HATE IT! Especially when backing up with a trailer it lunges back hard when you want to be gentle and steady. If I ever get a T680, manual and clutch would be the way to go and it will be perfect.
Hey there Josh, I've been in a blue T680 myself for the last 2 years. Very comfortable truck but they seem to be prone to DPF problems, in our fleet at least. I'll be getting a new truck sometime early next year, really hoping I'll get a 2022 T680, if not it's like to be a new cascadia. Great to see you like it, though I'd really love to have a W900 too!
Haha that's exactly why I refused the brand new t680 when they sold my freightliner. I'm only 6 foot and I smacked my head try to sit on the bed. Plus seats closer together and I travel with my golden retriever and knew she wouldn't like that. Freightliner have more space
I took a brand new KW like that on one trip and that was the worst truck I’ve ever driven. The doors flap in the wind and I had a headache the whole trip. Went back to my old KW T660 and pre-def and that’s the truck to have IMO.
The grocery company that I work for they use the same t680 kenworth their color are white and they have some sleepers a a lot of day cabs kenworth t680s
Josh you should see how much the new model goes for, 2022 t680. Some dealership down in the U.S. posted a video of one they had up for sale and we’re selling it for $235000 usd. Absolutely crazy, I don’t even want to convert that number to cad.
I don't know if it's just me but you might have to repost that video the audio for the majority of the video is completely out of sync with the video. Keep up the great work love the videos, keep them coming.
I'm sorry guys! RUclips is working on the issue. My hands are tied right now but it is getting fixed! Check back again soon! It should be fixed by tomorrow!
@@Trucker_Josh yeah cb's are on the way out. Now it's headsets that evey trucker has. I like to see a cb in a truck. Completes the look of a nice truck 👍
I know how much you enjoy the W900L. It's still my favourite video of yours. However, the W990 is a 2.1 m wide cab vs the 1.8 m wide W900. I think you'd enjoy the extra space.
You better be careful doing all these overnights you'll start to get an itch and it starts to put ideas into a guy's head about going back otr I've been there
The T680s are comfortable but not for me. My Freightliner M2 106 has been a great truck for me and where I work. But, if I ever get into long haul trucking, the T680 is def one of my first choices
Josh, do you guys have a seperate battery for starting the truck, and for the heater and light and so on when you are on your night break? We have it on our Scanias and Volvos so the truck always have enough Power to start
The audio should be all fixed now!!
"I m way too nice"...my man you re canadian ofcourse you re too nice lmao, you people are awsome

Josh, that antenna looking thing outside of Neepawa on the Yellowhead Highway is a purple martin birdhouse colony.
The thing I like the most about the T680 is the rotating passenger seat.
I couldn't figure it out

I WANT THAT T680😍😍😍
Trucker Josh Ridin’ in style! KW’s are simply the best…. and I hope one day you can get your own.
Josh, the passenger seat in the T680 flips around so that you can use the seat and table like a desk.
Well somebody was very excited to drive that 680 and to be honest I would be too ! Thumbs UP to you Josh!
It helps you keep a smile on your face josh.
Thanks for letting us ride shotgun in your fancy Kenworth T680. It sure is a nice truck and you're right about it being a condo on wheels.
