@@maxconnolly4279 I have and it's great. I have bigger legs so I need as much space as possible. To me all versions of the Antares feel the same but if you can find a good price go for it
Monton is sickkkkkk. Own one for my club jersey. Love them to death. If only they make solid colours. Basics. With minimal branding. Please preach to them on designing a basic/essentials/everyday jersey 🙏 highly appreciated. Thank you❤️
You still use this saddle? I got mine recently. Immediately made 2 long rides to see if i get numb nuts. I didn't get any! First saddle to pass the test after 4 different saddles. I also love the freedom of movement. I think with some adjustments it will be perfect. A bit harsh on the butt. But i am a big dude and i must get used to it. They claim is an aggressive racing saddle. But i believe it shines in endurance riding too! I work my way for my first Brevet 200 kilometers. I am still a newbie. Great video by the way.
Thanks for watching - I sold this saddle along with a complete bike about a year ago. It's a great saddle. These days however I prefer the Specialized/S-Works Power Saddle. Same concept just a little more firm of cushion.
At this point, my favorite saddle is the one that came with my bike! 🙃 Someday I’ll start searching for something more pleasant to me tooshie… and me “taint” as you say. (Your wiggling fingers were too funny!) But I will say that my fi’zi:k Arione R3 is much better than I thought it would be.
Almost every mid-tier saddle on the market has WAY to much padding for people riding with bib shorts. This one is just perfectly balanced. I tried 5 saddles this summer and this one was the keeper. Ride On!
I LOVE comments like these. Thanks Johnny! Also - I have a fully carbon, unpadded saddle on one of my bikes. Super comfortable (with bibs) and way less potential for less chafing since it’s unpadded.
I just picked up a near new PS saddle with carbon rails for $50. I just need the Specialized 7 + 9mm saddle clamp for my Alex Sprint which currently has the Aeolus Comp. Only reason I’m trying it out is for weight savings.
@@PatrickLino oh I just mean I've never tried any shimano saddles, but as a brand it would be cool to find something compatible with my butt. I'm just so ridiculously comfortable on the Selle Italia SLR that it's hard to switch :)
Comparison of saddles is kinda pointless as it would be very subjective to the person using it. Sit bones, bikefit, and chamois in bibs will make such a comparison very relative for anybody else then the rider.
Picked the PRO stealth 152mm up just now and tested it on the turbo trainer. It is far better than the saddle that came with the bike. The pressure relief channel is a godsent. Thanks Patrick!
Hi pat, my sit bones measure 12.5cm seems these won’t work for me. I sit semi-aggressive to aggressive on bike and usually have pelvis rotated forward. Any suggestions? Thanks brother.
Is the 152 mm will it be a over kill. I have the Fizik Aliante Gamma but it’s not working out for me. And how is saddle going so far? I’ve spend a lot on saddle already. This is not the carbon ?
@@PatrickLino You purchase the 142mm saddle right? Will the 152mm be too wide for the average person? The reason I am asking is because I have the Fizik Aliante Gamma but it is not working out for me. The saddle you purchase is it the carbon fiber version or standard? And lastly how is the saddle performing so far . Hope this help thanks
Hoping this is good brother. Just got back into riding and I’m in pain lol. 😂 ass feels line a mule kicked it 4 times 😝🤣 and my taint feels the same. I wear the gel shorts too but I wear mine with boxers I might rock them without the boxers, but my seat on my bike sucks.
What is your favorite saddle, and why?
The power comp saddle is my go to along with the Fizik Antares. Both have a more narrow nose that fits my lower region more comfortably.
@@valuableblu Good to know, thanks Dre!
@@valuableblu Do you use the Antares 00, very tempted to try it after going through 4 previous saddles.

Have you remove the paint from the rails?
Love the jersey! Congrats of the branding pick up!
Thank you!!

Patrick, just ordered the same one! Can't wait to try it. Yeah that tender area has to be as comfy as possible for sure!
Indeed!
I'm also looking into buying one of these. It would be nice if you can do a long term review in future.
Just buy it!

Forgot to mention, that jersey is on point 👍 perfect match with the helmet too
Ayyyye thanks Galen. Winter is coming. Gotta enjoy it lol
Good vid! Gonna get one for the AS?
If I can find another for $80 haha
Sounds good, duly noted for a try on the next build.
Good review. Yeah, i run that saddle on all my bikes.
Thanks!

I have this saddle, and yes, it is quite comfortable. Did the seller polish the rails?
Is polishing the rails a thing? Never heard of that before...
@@PatrickLino On my saddle (and all product photo I find), they are matte black.
Hey cool vid! I'm looking to try one of these saddles. Do you still use the Pro Stealth? Any dislikes about the saddle?
Using it as I type this lol. No issues 👍🏾
I've always wanted to find a PRO saddle that fits, simply because they have one of the nicest accessory mounts at the back.
Fitting issues? A couple of people have mentioned it's too wide at the nose.

Specialiazed Power for me.
