This was dope. It was sorta felt like the skater interviews in the magazine. They're really good. And with this one you get to actually see them express visually instead of imagining it. Still, the writers do a great job doing that in the magazine. It's worth a read to know alot about the skaters come-ups.

For anyone wondering, Nora stars in a music video as a conflicted female lead who seems to regret a paid encounter she has in a classic car and goes on to wander down a dirt road and break a mirror with her fist if I remember correctly

Met Nora in the past and she was extremely nice and was super rad to talk to and hang with. Nicole seems great too. Big fans of both of these ladies 🔥 Both rip hard, and Nicole also being good at snowboarding is sick!

Grew up south of Boston and got to skate with PJ Ladd a couple times. Now back in Boston and getting my daughter's into skating, so if we ever meet Nora, I'll be that awkward dad trying to explain how great Nora is at skating. Haha, I'm going to lean into the awkwardness and hopefully my kids will get even more into skating 😂

I'm surprised to realize how much i'm actually into female skateboarding, it hypes me so genuinely while i'm getting a little bored with male's stuff. The evolution we're not having in tricks in last years is actually into gender opening and female's achievements because it's not just girls doing tricks, it's a whole fresh new pov and way of expression
Yeah the new wave of ladies the last several years has been so sick to see...I'm genuinely hyped on it. It blows my mind and bums me out when I see stupid and lame comments under a girl's video part or post...some of our community still has to pull their heads out of their asses but overall the new wave has been pretty cool to see

Seriously. Thrasher started as a Skateboarding MAGAZINE. They have always interviewed skaters.
I'm torn. For me I'm just hung up on the soulless format, which is a blatant ripoff of every single other media company, and about 5 years late.
If this were the same exact interview but them sitting on a random curb, I would 100 percent be into it.
It's the off screen producer replaced with title cards. The white background. The stools. The needlessly cheery and obnoxiously loud music especially. It's straight out of "how to create viral social media 101."
It's not what people watch thrasher for.
@@itmeurdad I get it but I think the format is nice because they clearly choose friends for this. Just two friends sharing stuff about their life. And they always seem to be having fun. So it’s working. I smiled through it. I don’t really mind the set up because you really just need the faces for this. I get that it’s not real thrasher stuff but does everything have to be? So many people lose their minds if there’s not a beer bottle broken in the first minute
