Just grip jobbed my Nora wicked queen with Jackson pollock style paint dripped this morning then cut it into 4 inch triangles then half down the grip then mixed and match by eye. Left 1\4 inch spaces between each piece. Rockin 85 duro pugs and Bronson g2 with orange juice bars and Indy 8s in 8.5. Lovin life

The nine club has really stepped up there thumbnail game
i have the 8.1 version of nora's board and i like it, but i don't love it. the tail isn't good for scoopy tricks like an impossible because its borderline fish tail. you'd have to do those off the nose. i don't like the pointy nose for certain things, i sanded it down to make it more round. lastly, i noticed that the truck holes aren't actually drilled on in the dead center. like if you put it in primo one side leans more forward than the other.
Update: the inibility to do an impossible was just a skill issue on my part, i like pointy noses now for kickflips, and in hindsight the trucks probably were drilled right. It was prob just slightly footballed due to wear

I have always heard opposite about krux! They take forever to break in, they don’t turn no matter how loose they are , there hollows kingpins break 🤷🏻♂️

Krux only turn like 2/3 as much as other brands when I lean the same amount on both. It feels so weird. It's like they're infinitely too "tight" (IMHO) due to the truck geometry. Even when they're loose they just don't turn as desired for me.
Probably why she changes the bushings to medium bones.
I used to skate krux and found them fine, but swapping over to ace was insane. The turning is probably the biggest downside to krux

To be fair Crob was the one who brought up the problem with every truck manufacturer using different sizings, and that's not a new thing, he complains about that aloooottttt, and with good reason. Nora is a representative of krux and her job is to get people to buy krux products at the end of the day, honestly I think it was kinda just kismet that set her up into the perfect rant about krux having the best measurements. Don't get me wrong, personally I'm an Independent trucks kinda guy, but honestly all truck manufacturers should just bite the bullet and switch to labeling trucks by axel width in inches if boards are gonna be measured in inches imo.

Bronson Raws dont come with nor recommend oil actually.
They're only more expensive, the g3s were better
Klimnatas I actually like the raws more. Really similar to the G3s, but they seem to require no maintenance. The G3s would get stuck and stay stuck until I cleaned em, and for some reason the shields shrunk and would always pop off so I just took em off eventually. I havnt had to do anything at all with my raws. I’ve literally gotten nests of hair stuck in em, and then after skating for a few minutes they’d start rolling like new.

@@theaxedude1 oil doesn't keep bearings clean. Oil lubricates the bearing in order to avoid the heat that steel on steel friction creates. The heat generated can cause the balls to expand and sieze up the bearing if you're going faster than pushing speed all the time (lots of transition skating or hills). Ceramic bearings don't heat up the same way that steel do so you can run without lube.
