I gotta admit, I never had a problem understanding this conversation when discussing speed and accuracy. Once Matt gave the Jumpmaster analogy it really made a difference. I wish more people could understand it that way. He is so on point with that. Once I got my speed and efficiency down passing the JM test and doing it to standard actually felt slow. It never seemed fast anymore, it was just smooth and efficient.
Been following some of you guys for a while and I just wanted to say thank you for the incredible content you guys put out on these topics. These are a little hard to find but it’s such good information and would be very eye opening for a lot of people in these communities that overlap in the gun culture because these topics are so important in everything from professional to self/home defense training and the way most of the “training” market is selling them all hot garbage.
I switched over and watched a couple videos from the “kinetics concepts” guy and wow! I can see why you guys and especially Matt would get so hot about what’s being represented as “cqb” and “tactics”. He was recommending switching to non dominant positions depending on each entryway he approached! I don’t think any of the people subscribing and praising him like it was some “eureka!!” moment of brilliance when I would guarantee him nor any of his fans could accurately shoot and move from just their strong side!

It’s funny when I was in JM I used the stress shoot analogy to explain JMPI. Lol

CQB without the ability to shoot at a high level is like a wide receiver who can run a route but can’t ever catch the ball.
That's when K9 comes in.. ha ha
Matt is tuned up.
