it is not true that perfume gets into our bloodstream, i study cosmetology and even if you use skincare, most of it doesn't penetrate deeper than epidermis :) and every cosmetic that is available in stores is safe for human body
As others have mentioned - very few compounds can actually get absorbed by the skin, which is why so many millions in research is required to formulate skincare actives that work. Many brands utilize "clean" buzzwords to greenwash and overcharge while having no material difference whatsoever on your health, the environment, or ethical ingredient sourcing. Let's please listen to dermatologists, ecologists, chemists etc. rather than marketing 💗

I get many people want to be cruelty free and vegan, but that's a lot of green washing. Just because it says it's natural or cruelty free & vegan doesn't mean it's true. If you (generally speaking) think it's doing better for you or the environment that's great, but a lot of people in that community need to fucking chill. Just because it may not have "chemicals" that doesn't mean it's cleaner or better for you. There is a lot of fear-mongering when it comes to cleaner or green products so just beware everyone.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE follow Lab Muffin Beauty. She’s has a PhD in chemistry and is highly educated on product safety for beauty. She can dispel a lot of your concerns, and she has real knowledge. 💗💗💗

I finally went ahead and bought S Sugar by Shakira since it was low stock, and it was a good blind buy. It smells like how I wish Prada Candy Gloss smelled like with the cherry- candied almond- vanilla notes.
Montblanc signature is my all time favorite scent. I really enjoyed the sample of The Only One that I had as well.

The midnight amber glow is my absolute favorite now, it smells so yummy. I caved and bought the candle too. I am so impressed with the new scents they have been coming out with!

I layer Midnight Amber Glow with Britney Spears Private Show. It smells great together, but that combo sounds good as well! I have to try it.
I think we should approach the topic differently - before we think about our skin and good ingredients for us, we should want the products we use to be vegan and cruelty free. Most are tested on animals and for us to smell or look good shouldn't hurt anyone. My comment is not addressed to you directly and I dont mean harm, I too have perfumes tested on animals, I was not very aware of this. Trying to do better and not to buy anymore.

Honestly if these companies are evil enough to hurt animals what makes you think they would be telling the truth when they say they don't test on animals? I mean they could literally just say that and there is no way you would ever know. I don't think a few people here and there not buying from them is gunna make a dent. You would have to go after the companies directly to make any sort of difference

Hi Julie Seductive Noir surprised me. At first spray I was about sell the bottle lol. I can't quite pinpoint what it was but I think maybe too much of the sage BUT once it started settling it becomes a warm cozy dark vanilla with sweetness, slightly powdery but not cloying. Definitely intriguing and sexy. It gives me a bit of the Burberry Brit vibe which I love. Hope this helps.

Mont Blanc signature has an orange creamsicle kind of scent on me. The orange is subtle but mixed with the vanilla and lactonic note it reminds me of the popsicle a little bit. I never tried it with Bare Vanilla and now i will definitely try them together.
I let my daughter use Pacifica (she’s 5 and has seen mommy use perfume). I think solinotes is also a “cleaner” perfume brand. We love the hibiscus one (smells like tropical summer) and blood orange one (sweet citrus), solinotes vanille and tonka!

I really want to try the montblanc perfume, it sounds like sth I would really like! Just to let you know, clean beauty is mostly just a marketing tacitc, and "natural" isn't necessariliy better than "chemical", many times it's the other way around, Lab muffin beauty science has a great video on clean beauty that I'd recommend! :)

Be careful of “clean” products. Companies sometimes use “clean” and “natural” as marketing tactics. Just make sure you do proper research on the brand. Pacifica is a very good brand to support :)

A REALLY great combo I love to use sometimes is Thank U Next by Ariana Grande and Your The One. The bath and body work scent kinda solves the whole tangy scent from Thank U Next and it adds a level of sweetness to it, while keeping the same iconic, fresh smell that it has!💞

There is nothing wrong with changing your mind about certain things or trying new products that might be healthier, or might make you feel better. I enjoy your videos so I will watch them no matter the topic. I use regular fragrances but I have also tried healthier fragrances from Korres and from Pacifica. I like Korres bellflower and from Pacifica I enjoyed the Tuscan Blood Orange.

If you don’t already own this line try 7 Virtues. It’s niche and somewhat affordable. Also cruelty free approved by Peta and leaping bunny approved. The Vanilla Woods and Lotus Pear are heavenly.

Oohhh I do!! Lately I’ve noticed that bio oil has been clashing with my daily/nightly moisturizing regimen but I need to use Bio oil - it helps my skin a lot! I used Pink Sugar layered with Outremer Vanille & it was the greatest combo. It made me appreciate Pink Sugar a lot more since I found a way to make it smell less “girly”.

Skinfix has an amazing body scrub and cream and is a clean brand at Sephora. Little pricey but you buy $300 perfumes so it should be affordable to you 🤣

Sadly, Bath & Bodyworks is NOT 100% cruelty-free as of 2022. This is because they might test their products on animals in Mainland China. Although brands in China are free from pre-market animal testing, they are not exempt from post-market animal testing.( as of Jan 30, 2022).
“Clean beauty” is not a regulated thing. It’s a marketing term. Natural does not necessarily equal safe. Many products have been recalled due to early expiration and bacteria/ mold growth.
Lab Muffin Beauty is an awesome source for legit product safety.

hi ksenja! i love your videos and i’m on the same boat as you currently as i’m really into clean products whether it’s skincare or makeup. i’ve been strictly buying cruelty free and vegan stuff but obviously with some products it’s difficult, even today when i was looking for a body cream/body butter i smelt creams from the brand sanctuary spa and even though it’s cruelty free the fragrance was too strong so i bought the palmer’s cocoa butter tub because it’s very hydrating and not too strong on the smell! not sure why i gave this example ^ but anyways can’t wait for the video where you talk about the products you use! have a great weekend! xx

I’m so happy you brought body care chemicals up…Awareness is half the battle.I always watch you because we’re friends girl, gotta support you, but I hate how we support products that could harm us. BS is in everything unless we’re bland chicken we’re gonna ingest a lot of it.
If you like natural soaps, you should check out Pacha Soaps they smell amazing and are natural.
I LOVE perfumes but I also only do natural products on my body.
I dont really wear perfume on my skin except for maybe some on wrist and some that may get on my neck by accident.
I avoid any VS & BBW body care. I love the body sprays though. I use them on clothes only too.
I think you'll feel better now that you aren't applying those things on your skin!! Flouride free toothpaste will change your life too. Without getting into it too much, you will literally see it changes in your mindset!

I always love your videos they’re always fun informative and great ideas! I have also been trying to use better products on my body. I know that I will still use my perfumes but I am trying like you to use more natural things in my skin care routine and my hygiene routine. I have switched to native deodorant and Rio Deo by Sol de Janiero both aluminum free and work. I love the Skylar perfumes which are also clean. I did a layering combo which works for me… Ellis Brooklyn Sunfruit and Fairytale body mist from Bath and Body. I usually layer it with Libre but I tried the other combination and it smelled awesome and got a lot of compliments.
