A friend from Athens recommended MB - Signature to me, but according to Fragantica it Is very similar to Issey Miyake A drop d'Issey. I just got the latter, and while I really like it I don't necessarily want another one of those. Do you have any idea? Drop is very lactonic, a bit soapy with vanilla + lilac + musk. Clean and a tad sweet but very milky.creamy. Based on Ksenja's review the base is indeed identical....
All the Montale bottles are like that. They are very light I wouldn’t worry I am sure you got all the fragrance. They are definitely very strange in the perfume world of bottles. Great haul.
I LOVE Mont Blanc Signature! Like you, I find it to be so versatile fragrance, suitable to just about any occasion. It's one of the few fragrances that I immediately bought a back-up bottle of, simply because I know I'll use it up fast. And I just got Musc Noir Rose as well, and I am loving that one too! It really is insanely beautiful. Nice haul! So glad you had such a wonderful trip.
I love Mont Blanc Signature, too. On me, it reminds me a lot of Hanae Mori edt (pink butterflies). You should try that if you haven’t. It has the black currant and berries that you like, and, on a side note, was the first fragrance to ever be packaged with a glass cap (just a little of my trivial perfume knowledge, lol).

I bought that one because of Curly Scents too. I haven’t opened it yet though. I buy myself perfumes in the summer then wait to open them during the holiday season when I’m spending money on gifts for others rather than myself…I have a whole box of unopened fragrances waiting for me to enjoy later. My husband gifted musc noir rose on my birthday and I fell in the love with the first sniff... The way you explained it.. I felt the same but I couldn't explain to my husband and daughter that how good it is.. I had the tester which I kept on sniffing all day from where my husband got the clue😅
i absolutely love Trussardi Donna! I blind bought it for out of the shower shampooy and clean smelling but I ended up falling in love with it. Montale perfumes don't come full inside but you do get 100 ml so don't worry and yes they are super light weight feeling.
I just got Donna edp in the mail, today-I have the edt as well, but I’d heard the edp was better. They smell the same. I’m not mad because I will just layer them for longevity, but anyone who’s trying to decide-they are basically the same to the nose.

I love the Mont Blanc Signature! I first smelled it back in 2020 at the airport. The girl just passed me one of those papers to check it out and dissapeared. I had to chase her around to find out which perfume it is! I bought it but got stolen from my check in luggage on my return flight, so I bought it again! I just had to have it and I have been loving it since.
I never smelled the narcisso one but I definitely didn't expect that one, I need to try it! You should try armani ocean di gioia, it's a fresh pear oceany scent, it's so good! I'm not that into fresh scents but that one is great. It would also be nice to see a "top 10 relaxing perfumes" from you

I've seen people on Fragrantica compare Christina Aguilera's Definition perfume to Montblanc Signature. I've never smelled the Montblanc Signature so I can't confirm or deny that, but thought that it would be interesting to mention it, since I know you're also always on a hunt for great affordable perfumes. Definition lasts about 14 hours on me and projects so well! I hear no one talk about it on RUclips and it's surely a gem. 🥰
I got trussardi my name in Greece in 2014 , Everytime I wear it , it brings back all those memories. It may not be the best perfume of all time, but for me it’s my favourite
I just blindbought musc Noir Rose and it's very nice! It's so versitale imo. I have Montblanc signature and it's so yummy but clean and airy at the same time. Hard to explain but so nice and I get the clementine note as well. I think I will buy trussardi donna in the future 👍😁 great video again.
I love montblanc signature but I have found a spot on dupe. The Christina aguilera Definition perfume smells exactly the same but is a cheaper alternative
I've been scared to try Narcisso Rodriguez fragrances bc of the rose notes, also! So I'm going to just go for this one since its not antique-like rose scented, even tho it's got rose in the name. I LOVE musk scents- so I'll get this one. Thank you!
They also make the Musc Noir version (came out before the Rose version) and it’s the same exact scent minus the rose. Not sure if you knew that, so hopefully it helps.

I am nervous to buy any Montale fragrance because every perfume reviewer says every Montale fragrances has a background metallic note. I have had Mont Blanc Signature for over a year (first hyped by Paulina Schar on RUclips) and every time I wear it, I receive compliments.
Ksenja I feel like you would love the Nest Turkish Rose fragrance oil. I got the rollerball version as my choice from one of those Sephora sample sets for Christmas last year. It's a fruity rose with woods, it's soooo addicting!

Sapodilla is a fruit 😊! It’s one of those exotic fruits. Kinda hard to explain how it taste and smell because it has its own unique sweet taste. The one in Mojave Ghost smells like an almost-ripe-sapodilla. It’s sweet, but not as sweet as when it’s ripe. A ripe sapodilla taste unbelievably sweet so even if it’s not ripe yet, it’s still sweet when you eat it. Because of how realistic the sapodilla in MG smells compared to the real fruit, IMO it’s not a safe blind buy. On paper it’s not that present but on skin it’s like they’re screaming ‘HEY I’M SAPODILLA NICE TO MEET YOU”. Also it’s a pretty linear fragrance so that sapodilla is present throughout the wear.
Oh my goodness, Ksenja, for some reason, I knew you were talking about Narciso Rodriguez’ perfume when you mentioned it in the opening. I had the exact reaction to it. If I had to start over, I would start with that one. It’s amazing!!!

But I want the Musc noire Rose as well😅. I just ordered Chanel chance eau tendre edp because of the little tester I had found in my collection and I instantly fell in love🥰. Although its normally Not my type of scent😅.
Just ordered a sample of Narciso! I think opinionated scents talked about this fragrance too. On another note, i am not much of a byredo fan. I ordered a whole bunch of samples and didn’t say yes to any of them. Btw I thought byredo Bal d'Afrique smells like English laundry the blue bottle except there is a vanilla note which I find is better. Love to see your hauls!!!

Great video. I have 2 full bottles of Montale and they feel very light as well. I'm thinking the glass in perfume bottles must be what adds the weight?
Montale bottles are all like that. The aluminium weighs far, far less than standard glass bottles. If you weigh it on kitchen scales new it will be approx 120g ish. If you see 100ml of liquid, it’s actually very little - so your bottle is fine x
Just got Musc noir rose in and it smells VERY similar to mon guerlain which I love just a bit more vanilla in Musc noir rose, I love it but kind of feel like I don’t need both in my collection

It's a very fleshy fruit and smells very sweet. It's also consumed a lot in Mexico It's a very sugary fruit, it tastes like consuming a banana smoothie with a lot of brown sugar xD smells much like it too, just sniff a bowl of brown sugar
I'm sure you heard but all montales are light weight,they are great to pack if you go on vacation. Mont blanc signature to me is a creamy freshy.if you want a sweet version of trussardi donna go get your nose on sound of donna,its a fruity floral with alomond,whipped cream and chesnuts,I love it!safe blind buy.quai and byredo made a Mojave ghost leave in condtioner, I have it and the smell lasts in your hair,great scent bubble.❤️💯
I tried a vial sample of Mojave Ghost and I loved how it smelled on me...but it didn't last. I asked 2 gals from work to smell me and they couldn't smell anything. To be fair, I couldn't spray it so at some point, I'll buy the travel spray. The scent is definitely "your skin but better" and very clean, understated, yet yummy at the same time.
Montale are all like that...they are potent and oily. Only reason it feels like that is because it is in an aerosol can instead of heavy glass. Trust me it is not empty...I own 14 of them and 13 of Mancera.
It's crazy how I have both Trussardi Donna & Montblanc Signature & I have fallen out love with them 😅 but out of the two, I feel like I will most likely revisit Trussardi Donna because it's a sweet freshie, like lemonade with sweet flowers in it. It satisfies my need for something fresh in my collection. Montblanc Signature is good but I'm tired of the scent.

The NR Musc Noir Rose is BOMB! I bought mine after I watched Curly Scents video and I have heard so much about it prior to that and it is sooo good! I have put a HUGE dent in my big bottle but I also love the For Her EDT version and the cubes. But the Musc Noir Rose is a 100 out of 100!! Also signature is another amazing scent that I just got myself! It’s so creamy like orange creamsicle! I have nothing like it either in my collection!
I love clean and freshies!!! Montblanc Signature is my absolute favorite perfume. I wish I could get a body lotion and body wash. I got a full bottle for Christmas and it is phenomenal! I picked up that musc rose noire when it first came out (for like $30 with some Macy's points) & it is sooooo sexy and intoxicating. The rose and the musk - it just gives me sexy, unbothered vibes. I would definitely repurchase.
Honestly with Byredo, just save your money and buy the hair mist because the lasting power and projection are the same. I love Sundazed and I layer it with D&G Light Blue Intense
I’m selling my bottle of Trussardi Donna. The jasmine is so overwhelming to me! I get a little lemon and creaminess but way more jasmine. I can’t do it. Jasmine drives me crazy and makes me sneeze.
I super agree with Musc Noir Rose. I stayed away from Narciso Rodriguez for a long long time. Gave Poudree a chance but that did not work for me either in the long run. But I have been gatekeeping musc nour rose for a while now because i don't want it to be as popular the For Her line but it's really so good no one can keep it a secret!

@ksenja This is my first Narciso Rodriguez. I absolutely love this! I just got mine delivered today and the cap just glides off almost too easily. It doesn't catch like other perfume bottles. Is everyone else's bottle cap come off this easy?
I ordered a sample of Musc Noir Rose as soon as I watched your video, but I really don't like it, on me all I get is pepper pepper and more pepper. And it comes off really masculine. The dry down after an hour or so is a bit better, more feminine, but I just can't get past that pepper note. So glad I didn't blind buy a bottle
I don't know what happened, but I came across my sample again in a drawer, and wow, I sprayed it again and it smells completely different to me now. It's smells nothing like I described in my original comment at all! I am in love with it now ❤
I felt the same when I bought a Montale Intense Cafe tester. I searched online and found out the bottles all feel like that, even when they aren't testers. I think it's a combo of the aluminum packaging but they also don't fill it all the way so there may be more air space in the bottles. I definitely prefer the Mancera bottles (the sister company ).
Personaly, musc noir rose reminded me a little bit of donna born in roma when I wore it. What do you think? They are both amazing but I'm wondering which one to get!
I just bought montblanc last week and I was sooo excited about it but I feel like I cannot smell it longer than like 5 minutes 😭 I’m really hoping that if I let it age a little, it will get better but I’m sooo sad bc it is gorgeous
Some scents give you scent blindness within a few minutes. When testing new fragrances It's always smart to get outside for a few seconds _ or even lean out of the window and breathe in as soon as you think you no longer smell it. Chances are you'll immediately smell it again, maybe even without needing to sniff your wrist. The fresh outdoor basically "resets" your brain & thus your olfactory senses. I had v the same 2wks back. Almost went back up v to v my b room to resprayv when my friend rung the doorbell. I opened and she immediately said: sheesh, you smell divine! I could smell you through the mailslot! "Getting some air by opening the door immediately made me smell myself again too. So, that! If you still don't smell anything...5min is extremely short. In that case let it rest a bit. It might have been "bruised" from the different temperatures (stock room, post office, delivery van and thenyour home) and the wobbling while in a vehicle+ possible throwing of boxes. I ordered Zara Oriental online 2 mth back. Initially I didn't smell anything AT ALL! Then I decided to spray 6 times in one spot. Finally I had a scent but it was awful. Like rotting lemons! I put it with my blind buy fails, thinking it was terrible performing & bad on my skin. Three weeks later I happened to test ifmy fragrances had suffered under the intense heat and also sprayed my fails. And fell in love with Oriental ! This was the delicious smell everyone had been raving about ! ! I still need extra sprays,but with an edt that's normal for me. As long as I use 2 sprays on the pulse points instead of 1 and respray after 4 HRS it'll last all day now. Lesson learnt: travels & hot temperatures can bruise the notes, meaning a fragrance needs a week to several weeks to recover, and sometimes you also need to get rid of the fluid in the tube that's attached to the nozzle because it has somehow soured. Done all that and the fresh air tip & it is still crap? Well, then it IS crap...At least your skin pH doesn't work with the perfume. Sadly, it happens. I wore a bougie one today and the scent pyramid seemed heaven. But I'm only getting Amalfi & the most powdery Iris ever. No vanilla, no jasmine, no honey, no tonka, no sandalwood, no neroli, no violets. I smelled like an old lady full of perfumed talconpowder who had just cleaned the toilet 😒. I'll try it again when temperatures are lower, maybe I'll get the yummy notes then. Otherwise mine was just a much a fail as yours looks to be (but I hope my tips will work).

I just blindbought musc Noir Rose and it's very nice! It's so versitale imo. I have Montblanc signature and it's so yummy but clean and airy at the same time. Hard to explain but so nice and I get the clementine note as well. I think I will buy trussardi donna in the future 👍😁 great video again.

I've been scared to try Narcisso Rodriguez fragrances bc of the rose notes, also! So I'm going to just go for this one since its not antique-like rose scented, even tho it's got rose in the name. I LOVE musk scents- so I'll get this one. Thank you!
They also make the Musc Noir version (came out before the Rose version) and it’s the same exact scent minus the rose. Not sure if you knew that, so hopefully it helps.

I am nervous to buy any Montale fragrance because every perfume reviewer says every Montale fragrances has a background metallic note. I have had Mont Blanc Signature for over a year (first hyped by Paulina Schar on RUclips) and every time I wear it, I receive compliments.
Ksenja I feel like you would love the Nest Turkish Rose fragrance oil. I got the rollerball version as my choice from one of those Sephora sample sets for Christmas last year. It's a fruity rose with woods, it's soooo addicting!

I love Trusardi Donna. I got it when I was pregnant and it was one of the only fragrances I could wear durning this time. I wore it almost everyday. Will be a nice scent memory.

Sapodilla is a fruit 😊! It’s one of those exotic fruits. Kinda hard to explain how it taste and smell because it has its own unique sweet taste. The one in Mojave Ghost smells like an almost-ripe-sapodilla. It’s sweet, but not as sweet as when it’s ripe. A ripe sapodilla taste unbelievably sweet so even if it’s not ripe yet, it’s still sweet when you eat it.
Because of how realistic the sapodilla in MG smells compared to the real fruit, IMO it’s not a safe blind buy. On paper it’s not that present but on skin it’s like they’re screaming ‘HEY I’M SAPODILLA NICE TO MEET YOU”. Also it’s a pretty linear fragrance so that sapodilla is present throughout the wear.
Oh my goodness, Ksenja, for some reason, I knew you were talking about Narciso Rodriguez’ perfume when you mentioned it in the opening. I had the exact reaction to it. If I had to start over, I would start with that one. It’s amazing!!!

Montale bottles are like that, so don’t panic. I’ve done a weigh test of an empty bottle and then a full bottle and it does contain 100ml of perfume.

Amazing new fragrances💖😍. I have 5 Narciso rodriguez fragrances and love them All. Especially Pure musc, Rouge and Musc Noire (Not the Rose one,the og Musc noire). But I want the Musc noire Rose as well😅. I just ordered Chanel chance eau tendre edp because of the little tester I had found in my collection and I instantly fell in love🥰. Although its normally Not my type of scent😅.

Just ordered a sample of Narciso! I think opinionated scents talked about this fragrance too. On another note, i am not much of a byredo fan. I ordered a whole bunch of samples and didn’t say yes to any of them. Btw I thought byredo Bal d'Afrique smells like English laundry the blue bottle except there is a vanilla note which I find is better. Love to see your hauls!!!

Montale bottles are all like that. The aluminium weighs far, far less than standard glass bottles. If you weigh it on kitchen scales new it will be approx 120g ish. If you see 100ml of liquid, it’s actually very little - so your bottle is fine x
Just got Musc noir rose in and it smells VERY similar to mon guerlain which I love just a bit more vanilla in Musc noir rose, I love it but kind of feel like I don’t need both in my collection

Mont blanc signature to me is a creamy freshy.if you want a sweet version of trussardi donna go get your nose on sound of donna,its a fruity floral with alomond,whipped cream and chesnuts,I love it!safe blind buy.quai and byredo made a Mojave ghost leave in condtioner, I have it and the smell lasts in your hair,great scent bubble.❤️💯

I tried a vial sample of Mojave Ghost and I loved how it smelled on me...but it didn't last. I asked 2 gals from work to smell me and they couldn't smell anything. To be fair, I couldn't spray it so at some point, I'll buy the travel spray. The scent is definitely "your skin but better" and very clean, understated, yet yummy at the same time.
Montale are all like that...they are potent and oily. Only reason it feels like that is because it is in an aerosol can instead of heavy glass. Trust me it is not empty...I own 14 of them and 13 of Mancera.
It's crazy how I have both Trussardi Donna & Montblanc Signature & I have fallen out love with them 😅 but out of the two, I feel like I will most likely revisit Trussardi Donna because it's a sweet freshie, like lemonade with sweet flowers in it. It satisfies my need for something fresh in my collection.
Montblanc Signature is good but I'm tired of the scent.

The NR Musc Noir Rose is BOMB! I bought mine after I watched Curly Scents video and I have heard so much about it prior to that and it is sooo good! I have put a HUGE dent in my big bottle but I also love the For Her EDT version and the cubes. But the Musc Noir Rose is a 100 out of 100!! Also signature is another amazing scent that I just got myself! It’s so creamy like orange creamsicle! I have nothing like it either in my collection!

I love clean and freshies!!! Montblanc Signature is my absolute favorite perfume. I wish I could get a body lotion and body wash. I got a full bottle for Christmas and it is phenomenal! I picked up that musc rose noire when it first came out (for like $30 with some Macy's points) & it is sooooo sexy and intoxicating. The rose and the musk - it just gives me sexy, unbothered vibes. I would definitely repurchase.

Honestly with Byredo, just save your money and buy the hair mist because the lasting power and projection are the same. I love Sundazed and I layer it with D&G Light Blue Intense

I super agree with Musc Noir Rose. I stayed away from Narciso Rodriguez for a long long time. Gave Poudree a chance but that did not work for me either in the long run. But I have been gatekeeping musc nour rose for a while now because i don't want it to be as popular the For Her line but it's really so good no one can keep it a secret!

I ordered a sample of Musc Noir Rose as soon as I watched your video, but I really don't like it, on me all I get is pepper pepper and more pepper. And it comes off really masculine. The dry down after an hour or so is a bit better, more feminine, but I just can't get past that pepper note. So glad I didn't blind buy a bottle
I don't know what happened, but I came across my sample again in a drawer, and wow, I sprayed it again and it smells completely different to me now. It's smells nothing like I described in my original comment at all! I am in love with it now ❤
Nice video. Sapotilla is a fruit you can find in Haïti. It's very rare.
I felt the same when I bought a Montale Intense Cafe tester. I searched online and found out the bottles all feel like that, even when they aren't testers. I think it's a combo of the aluminum packaging but they also don't fill it all the way so there may be more air space in the bottles. I definitely prefer the Mancera bottles (the sister company ).
Personaly, musc noir rose reminded me a little bit of donna born in roma when I wore it. What do you think? They are both amazing but I'm wondering which one to get!

It's a full bottle of fragrance in the Montale bottle. The bottle is aluminum and not glass so it will feel light and seem empty.
I just bought montblanc last week and I was sooo excited about it but I feel like I cannot smell it longer than like 5 minutes 😭 I’m really hoping that if I let it age a little, it will get better but I’m sooo sad bc it is gorgeous
Some scents give you scent blindness within a few minutes. When testing new fragrances It's always smart to get outside for a few seconds _ or even lean out of the window and breathe in as soon as you think you no longer smell it. Chances are you'll immediately smell it again, maybe even without needing to sniff your wrist. The fresh outdoor basically "resets" your brain & thus your olfactory senses. I had v the same 2wks back. Almost went back up v to v my b room to resprayv when my friend rung the doorbell. I opened and she immediately said: sheesh, you smell divine! I could smell you through the mailslot! "Getting some air by opening the door immediately made me smell myself again too.
So, that! If you still don't smell anything...5min is extremely short. In that case let it rest a bit. It might have been "bruised" from the different temperatures (stock room, post office, delivery van and thenyour home) and the wobbling while in a vehicle+ possible throwing of boxes. I ordered Zara Oriental online 2 mth back. Initially I didn't smell anything AT ALL! Then I decided to spray 6 times in one spot. Finally I had a scent but it was awful. Like rotting lemons! I put it with my blind buy fails, thinking it was terrible performing & bad on my skin. Three weeks later I happened to test ifmy fragrances had suffered under the intense heat and also sprayed my fails. And fell in love with Oriental ! This was the delicious smell everyone had been raving about ! ! I still need extra sprays,but with an edt that's normal for me. As long as I use 2 sprays on the pulse points instead of 1 and respray after 4 HRS it'll last all day now. Lesson learnt: travels & hot temperatures can bruise the notes, meaning a fragrance needs a week to several weeks to recover, and sometimes you also need to get rid of the fluid in the tube that's attached to the nozzle because it has somehow soured. Done all that and the fresh air tip & it is still crap? Well, then it IS crap...At least your skin pH doesn't work with the perfume. Sadly, it happens. I wore a bougie one today and the scent pyramid seemed heaven. But I'm only getting Amalfi & the most powdery Iris ever. No vanilla, no jasmine, no honey, no tonka, no sandalwood, no neroli, no violets. I smelled like an old lady full of perfumed talconpowder who had just cleaned the toilet 😒. I'll try it again when temperatures are lower, maybe I'll get the yummy notes then. Otherwise mine was just a much a fail as yours looks to be (but I hope my tips will work).

Montale bottles are very light and their capacity is bigger than 100ml, so they don't seem to be full 😉 I'm sure your bottle contains 100ml perfume.
