30 Minute Arms & Cardio Workout | ACTIVATE - Day 3

  • Welcome to workout 3 of ACTIVATE! Don't forget to subscribe to the channel to crush this challenge with me!
    Today is an upper body and cardio workout so be ready to turn up the intensity! We will work for 30 seconds and rest for 15 seconds and we will superset two exercises together to really keep our muscles working and our heart rate up. The final circuit will be two exercises and we will complete two rounds of 30 seconds of the first move before one 60 second work period of the second exercise. It's the finisher!
    I used my 10 pound dumbbell to my 30 pound dumbbells with my lightest weight being used for tricep kickbacks and my heaviest weight being used for overhead tricep extensions so grab weights that work for you and let's crush it together!
    The exercises:
    1. Hammer Curls
    2. High Knees
    3. Tricep OH Extension
    4. Standing Mountain Climbers
    5. Bicep Curl and 1/2
    6. Lateral Agility over Yoga Blocks
    7. Bro Curl Right
    8. Bro Curl Left
    9. Tricep Kickbacks
    10. Dips
    11. lateral skater jumps
    12. 2 pop squats and 2 knee pulls at each end of mat

      I can appreciate that some people prefer shorter workouts but I don't generally do any that are less than 45 min. I just don't find it is enough for me. Hope longer ones come back. Miss working out with Sydney..I will keep checking.

      Seems like a short a workout, but its so intense, definitely worth it... 💪 i cant workout with anyone else, i have become a sydney junkie 🤣

      30 minutes is ideal for me and I think great for those of us starting our fitness journey, getting back into things or recovering from illness and have lost muscle mass / gained fat (me) right now I don’t have the endurance for 45 minutes (I will get there :) ) thank you for all you do Sydney

    Love the shorter workouts with the option to add on if you want to!!
    I would rather do 2 30's than 1 60. Maybe it's just a mental thing, but I push harder and focus better !!

      Me too. I push harder when it's 30 minutes. I prefer it to the longer workouts

    I absolutely love upper body day! I really pushed my max weight with those bro curls! They definitely had my HR blasting! Your talk at the end was perfect. My devotional this morning was Proverbs 27:4 "Anger is cruel, and fury overwhelming, but who can stand before jealousy?" These words and yours definitely placed my heart on the right path this morning! Thank you for everything you do ❤️

    Hey gang. I just tried a week of something new with a friend. I don't want to name names, but I'm back and I learned my lesson!
    Sydney is so well organized in her workouts and she's focused on us! The mid rep reminders for correct for arm ESSENTIAL if you're trying to increase weight. I'll never stray again.

    There’s always a workout that just turn the “hose of sweat” ON! The dumbbell triceps got me pouring!! Everything after that was just HEAT generation 👍🏼💯🤙🏼🥇

      Sydney just started the Activate program on Monday. Keep going with this one, you won't be sorry. FYI, Thursday is a rest day, so it's a good time to explore her channel for an alternate workout. New workouts are posted 5 days/week!

      I did that 3 years ago and literally haven't used a single different workout since finding Sydney besides a random dance video every now and then. She'll kick your butt while making you laugh. Enjoy the burn. :)

    The 30 minute workouts are good. I like when you keep things moving better than the long rests between each set. I loose momentum when we are standing around for 15 seconds.
