I am building a similar kit from some older drumkits I have sitting in the attic. Turns out, gigging with a 22 kit in smaller venues is a bit... cumbersome...

Never use a 22 anymore this 16 with a mic for even medium sized bars has been more than efficient

That’s interesting that you said that about the snare drum… I have a Questlove Kit and you’re right… the snare drum could be better!!!! Sounds good though man! 🎼🙌🏿
