nice work fellas!
19 sweet crash
That one crash on the far right beside the ride really do speaks to me. Was that an 18 or a 16?
Thought I might ask. May I know what are the sizes of these beautiful cymbals? I had the HH and some K sweets on my setup currently.
@regentsaquariums5692 sure 14 inch hi hats 16 and 18 crashes ,20 inch ride .personally I love these more than than the sweet Ks which I had .The have a little trash in the sound i love
May I ask which Premier model is this please? thanks!
Think it's either a early birch 90s cabria or ×pk
nice job!!!
Don't quit your day job just yet....
I'm retired buddy and this how I have fun after having chemo ,sorry to bore you ya got any more words of encouragement
Thought not, just another dude with nothing on his RUclips site shooting his mouth off. Get a life son
sounds good- a smoke machine would make it look intense
Great comparison. The 21" K Sweet does not sound at all like I expected. I would probably use it for big band or rock. The 20" K is my favorite for my style of small jazz venues. My second favorite is the 22" K.
@boomerguy9935 yes sir love my 20
@@boomerguy9935 i had a more rec3nt 22 Regular K ride and never like it .Gotta say Sabian HHX complex line is my new favorite. They ate what Ks should be .I love em as much as my Paiste Signature s
Boddy D! Loving the video. The drums sound great!
@@tripledeluxedday thank ya kindly 🙏
I would like to have seen the weights listed. The weight and the sticks used really affects the sound.
@boomerguy9935 sorry don't have em anymore except the regular K which is 2200 Grams I used Peter Erskine ride sticks ,I always use em.
Wtf, I heard that from Turkey now
@@DoğukanŞahin-n5m ?
yall should play sweating bullets
Sorry dude we are old dudes .Megadeath is cool but not my thing
Sounds great. What snare is that?
@JonneDrums thanks black beauty 6/14
I agree with you on the 20”. I was fully expecting to like the sweet ride the best, but I was wrong. And your right, you could listen to these reviews all day and until your playing the cymbal on the kit, it’s hard to tell if your going to like it. I’ve bought a few over the years and discovered I didn’t care for them once I started playing them on the kit. What totally sucks about that is like you said, they’re so dam expensive. Been playing a Zildjian 22” ping ride for years and don’t really care for it much. Too loud and not great definition on the bell. Boy, that 20” sure does sound good! Tough to take the plunge again when you’re talking 500.00 bucks. And thank you for playing live without any studio enhancement. That tells the real sonic story.
Yes sir ,actually I been switching over to Istanbul. I LL be doing a video with my set once my new Mel Lewis ride cymbal comes in next week .Istanbul have some real nice stuff
Nice tom sound!
Tuesday will come again. Hint.
Thanks .Not a thing
Your rehearsal space is amazing. The neighbors can't hear anything.
Good mix
Thanks ✌️

Keep rockin!!! 🤟
Thats so good to hear!
Sounds great, that will be my next snare for sure.
They sound great. I've been eyeing that snare for a while now.
It was on sale you shoulda bought it
@@bobbyddrums1566 It's my next main purchase. Right now I have a Mapex Black Panther Persuader, which I love. But I need a wood snare eventually as well.
Mapex Retro Sonic also one of the best snares out there made of Walnut. Amazing snare .Mapex is awesome stuff
Thank you for NOT recording with EAD10. Beautiful sounding drums.
@ivanbajovic3476 no just Zoom q8 on board Mic s, not bad it was just an experiment, all my videos are more or less ,they are all about the sound .
Great tuning and playing sir!
Thank you kindly!
Interesting.
Is that mahagony? Sounds really good!
@HuckFinn212 yes sir scored the kit. For $50
I can bring some bottom end this!great tune
Yes yes yes!!

pretty good for couple of old timers
That we are thanks man
Once again I give you a well deserved compliment you have in your blood one of the greatest drummers in history gene Krupa😊 1:43 😂
Bobby drums sound great you sound great just subscribed can you please show me some buddy rich exercises to work on
Very much appreciated sir but I couldn't show ya anything Buddy did .Man he was the goat for sure but I could never pick up to much from him .I am more of a self taught guy Thanks again and cheers
Nice you got a recording custom! How do they stack up against the older ones you had?
Thanks man I've had a 80s and I had a 90s and I had a 2010 and this being a,2023 I'm in awe of them..The kick is a 16/22 and sounds awesome and even with terrible stock heads on they sound fn killer .So this will be my last kit I ever buy ,I'm done .This is my dream kit .
@@bobbyddrums1566 awesome man. Enjoy them
Awesome. Love that kit. I have to play my granstar 2’s again one day! Do you have an 18?
Thanks man yeah there's an 18 on this set up.Might be selling these soon it's time.
huge sound!
Your drum set is huge, Bobby. It looks like what Lars Ulrich played in Metallica back in the early 1990's. Does your drum set come from that era?
Yes sir 1986 this kit also has a 10 and 14 inch tom and another kick and the snare I usually use is a 8/14 Brass power metal I am setting up with the snare for another video .I will state the correct dates on the snare and kit .Thanks for the cool coment.Cheers
Paiste Signature 20" Full Ride is possibly the most versatile ride on earth. It sounds incredible in all musical settings and styles. I have been playing one for 20 years.
Can't argue that .Bought it used 15 years back and it's been my gig ride since. PUTS anything Zildjian makes to shame .Actually the whole signature line is without a doubt the most versatile I've ever played as well.
Signatures are the BEST on the market.
Sounds good!
I like the twenty
Yeah me to its older and a little more weight .real sweet ping .thanks
@@bobbyddrums1566 I agree. However, I play soft jazz and go for the softer, smoother sound.
You must be deaf! 21 sounds much thicker and loud and rock sound like Paiste Rude, or Zildjian Z or Sabian Pro Sonix. Totally different tone, sound and purpose. Hard to belive that is K at all, should be heavy ride. 20 K here is best so equilibrated and versatil sweet sound. And crash to open like Buddy Rich did. 21 is like pan to me. 22 is kind of a bright bur sweet , washy tone to me. O.K. nice video!
Nope not deaf at all just making a personal observation .The 21 sounds nothing like a Paiste Rude or pro Sonic? Damn dude those are trash .Perhaps I need better mics or your deaf .I also have a Heavy Ride 22 and none of these sound close to a heavy Ride.
Diggin it!
Killer!😊
Sounds great
Is that a gretsch renown 24 13 16?
Yea love em
