- One Sunday we got a call. There was a bull on the highway!
David and Annie jumped in the Suburban and headed out to put him back in his pasture.
David's brother, Nate, went along and captured it with his drone.

Glad to see our cows and bulls were not the only ones to get out on to the highway early Sunday mornings. Always my least favourite wake up call!
Thanks for helping us see the patience included in stewarding animals. Both the cattle and the dogs.
The endurance of Annie is amazing.
This was like watching a painting being created. Poetry. Thank you, God, for dogs snd people who know how to teach and appreciate them.
I am just totally in awe how cattle dogs can move animals so much bigger and powerful with such ease. Their training must be intense.
This is fantastic and incredible to see. The precision and control is amazing. If I happened to drive by, I would have just thought, “there’s a man and a dog walking in a field with a bull. Hope he doesn’t get hurt.” It’s amazing how deceiving appearances can be. That area is beautiful. Thanks for the verse, too.
Always look forward to another video, thanks for posting it, and thank you so much for the scripture and lifting our Lord Jesus up!
Great channel
Great job. Awesome video. This text book proof that dogs are the safer alternative!
Good stuff. The dog, cattle, but most of all, The Lord. I see that He has truly blessed you and your family. Looks like you all have been good stewards of His land.
Fine working dog.
Thanks so much for sharing and the verse too! many blessings
Happy Trails

Regards from France.
Thanks for another Great video ,enjoy your work and bible passages ECT.
Well done!
I love this
Great job by You and Annie. Those old boys can sure tear up a lot of fences when they get after it. Just have to sort out who is the Boss.
Love you including God's Word in your videos!
Watching these dogs work is amazing! I like the drone footage as well -- and your explanations rock! Your dog training must be phenomenal because the dogs are so _good_ at following your instruction and herding ... and I can tell they love you by the way that one rested his face against your palm.
Very interesting video. :-)
Thank you for the bible verse too. Just subscribed.
Praise God for dogs, cattle and cowboys. (And cowgirls too, of course!) If Jesus hadn't been a shepherd, He would've made an excellent cowboy. Peace.
Fantastic job 👍
Show me oh Lord. Thanks for the scripture.
The dogs are essential for managing the cattle.
praise the Lord!
A cowdog and handler this good would make a Vegan want to start eating steak!

I am always amazed at the way you have taught the dog and how well Annie works. The bull too is magnificent. I wonder what the future holds with the plan to end meat and fossil fuels? Will you direct market? Opt out of the federal government in DC? It seems like they have stopped governing for the people long ago.
Thank you.
Yes it is hard to know what the future holds. With the storms going across the United States fossil fuels has proven to be the most reliable source. And I believe there will be a fair amount of suffering if they completely end it.
Again I don't know what the future holds but we will keep pressing on.
Thank goodness no idiot tried to pet the bull, like that woman that got to tossed by the bison.
Hi, Does Annie bark at the bulls/cows or is it simply her movement that makes the difference?
She does bark some, but it's more often her movements.
Do you ever have to clip their hoofs when they are in the fields? Bulls would be hard to deal with I would think
Great question I have never thought of.
I know horses get trimmed. Never heard of cattle being trimmed.
@@LaughingblueSu well I know if cows spend a lot of time indoor they have to have foot baths and trimming and cleaning of hoofs. But how to handle herds outdoor, bulls especially and do they even need it🤷♀️ I dont know. This farm looks huge
thanks for your interest.
among other things our breeding program selects for cattle that have good feet. A very few (like 1 percent or less) end up needing to be trimmed. Those are culled from the breeding program. Also because our cattle are living out on the range all the time their feet remain naturally healthy for the most part. If we do have to trim any, they are brought back to the working chute.
@@dagleyranch That makes sense. I follow another farmer from England and they have to trim a lot so I see what a big difference from yours.
I love your show it’s very interesting. I grew up in the country in Europe and worked on the neighboring farm but yours is just amazing. I love it ❤️and love you quote scripture ✝️🇺🇸🇨🇦🇩🇰
Who owned all this land?!🤯
