0:55 I love how they have to specify what position Travis Kelce is because he wasn’t a superstar yet. It’s so awesome to see young players transform into great ones.
Reid always matched up well against top defenses. It’s the bad teams he breaks out the pop warner playbooks for, and they lose those games in ugly fashion.
It’s crazy bcuz he was so good that the TEAM literally centered their play-book around him running! I remember one year wen KC didn’t have an actual TD pass to a receiver(wr or te) all the way into like week 15 or 16?) Then it’s like he disappeared…😔🎯💯
What gets lost in this season is that Kansas City beat both of the teams that played in that year's Super Bowl (Seattle and New England). They looked like a solid team sitting at 7-3 after this win, but they'd go on to lose 4 of their next 5 including a three game skid that basically eradicated their playoff hopes to end that season.
This 2014 Chiefs team that blew out the Pats earlier that season and beat the Seahawks here would lose to the winless Raiders just a few days later on TNF
So sad that 14-17 defense got wasted by injuries and smith not being able to beat cover 2. Idk why Dorsey didn’t make the maclin trade a year earlier. Or get some high end WR to help Bowe

Man Jamaal had a POWERFUL run style
I can only imagine Charles with Mahomes as his QB. Scary
This was back when Jamaal Charles was also effectively the Chiefs 3rd best receiver.
Shit this was the season Smith didn't throw a TD to a WR all season . Lol he was deffintly our number 1 at this time
This was the best running back performances by both teams
0:55 I love how they have to specify what position Travis Kelce is because he wasn’t a superstar yet. It’s so awesome to see young players transform into great ones.
0:12 been a while since we’ve heard from De’Anthony Thomas. Man was a beast in college.
Legendary scoreboard, miss these days😭
If Charles stays healthy his whole career hes the greatest rb of all time
Or at least one of the greatest
Jamaal just went. I remember watching a steelers/chiefs game and how night and day his and lev bells styles were. JC is literally 💨
I miss jamaal charles
Me too 🥺
Beast Mode and Jamal Charles 🔥🥲
Watching Houston tamba and berry on that chiefs D puts a smile on my face
Jamaal Charles was key to my many Madden victories KC really was good early mid 2010s
They are still good right now.
Outside of being a Chiefs fan, I remember this game distinctly because I had both of these RBs in FF. I used to draft Charles every yr
Wilson to Baldwin was not only marvelous but miraculous. That connection also took them to those championships.
This was the legion of boom in their prime, against the Pre-Mahomes Chiefs. Reid had that team well coached to pull off this upset at the time
Reid always matched up well against top defenses. It’s the bad teams he breaks out the pop warner playbooks for, and they lose those games in ugly fashion.
Strangest thing is that the 2014 Chiefs are the only Andy Reid KC squad that didn't make the playoffs during his current run.
@@supakewlryan yea injuries were horrible and no receivers all year. Too much for Jamaal to carry.
My favorite game from Jamaal Charles
Fun fact: This same Chiefs team had no wide receiver record a touchdown that year.
I was at this game! Sad day for a hawks fan, but was still fun for a first ever NFL game in person.
This was a good game
Charles's performance deteriorating was like Christmas getting less fun for older people
I miss Russell Wilson as a Seahawk, I wish he needs to Return to Seattle. And I miss Jamaal Charles, he is my Favorite Running Back.
Jamaal Charles, one of the many elite running backs who faded overnight.
Faded overnight? The man had 7,563 yards and 44 TDs on 1407 carries through 11 seasons. That kind of longevity is almost extinct in today’s league.
That’s not true lol but injuries did slow him down but he played 11 years
It’s crazy bcuz he was so good that the TEAM literally centered their play-book around him running! I remember one year wen KC didn’t have an actual TD pass to a receiver(wr or te) all the way into like week 15 or 16?)
Then it’s like he disappeared…😔🎯💯
Lmao I watched JC's whole career . Way to undersell him. Dude was one of the best who ran behind some of the worst olines known to man.
Lol he didn’t fade he got a second torn acl.
chiefs went from 7-3 to 9-7 this season
😢 this season was so depressing. Especially after this game we had beaten the 2 super bowl teams that season 😢
Cool Video 📸 NFL Throwback 🏈 Keep Up The Good Work 👍
If we still had Lynch we’d have a chance this week. Itll be a high scoring game anyways, that’s for sure.
And it wasnt. Blown out by the chiefs using their pop warner playbook😂
Jamaal charles was the best player on the field. And this field had multiple hall of famers.
Throwback, you need to do the 51-48 game in 1983 between these teams, it was epic
Nostalgia is wild. Some of y’all don’t even know how underrated at receiver Jermaine Kearse was.
Damn, I went to this game and didn't even realize what I was watching.
I Love the Hawks and Lynch but Charles was a beast although sometimes he did suffer from Fumblitis. 🙄
This was a great game. Plus, this was played on my 17th birthday that year.
This loss sparked the Seahawks to their Super Bowl Run.
Just like the patriots.
4:50
Picture Charles with mahomes
This was the best running back performances by both teams
WIDEEE 80!!! SET HUT!

Including a loss to the Raiders, which I believe was the Raiders only win that year.
jamall Charles will go down as the best NFL player to never make the HOF. It's sadly true but those who know him know his greatness.
He was certainly a HoF talent, but his lack of TDs and the injuries hurt him like many other potential HoF candidates.
Back when no one knew what a mahomes was!
No shit lmao
This 2014 Chiefs team that blew out the Pats earlier that season and beat the Seahawks here would lose to the winless Raiders just a few days later on TNF
that 2014 team was flawed as hell. Not one td pass to the wr and they turned the ball over like no ones business lmao
So sad that 14-17 defense got wasted by injuries and smith not being able to beat cover 2. Idk why Dorsey didn’t make the maclin trade a year earlier. Or get some high end WR to help Bowe
Do a highlight video about the Seahawks vs Chiefs 2019 Sunday night game, the 2007 game or the 1983 51-48 game
*2018, 2006
Former AFC West rivals
if seattle kicked the field goal at the goal line to make it 24-23 do they kick the field goal at the 36 to make it 26-24?
Can we get the Cowboys-Eagles Christmas day game from 2006 where Jeff Garcia started ??
Jamaal Charles is way better then lynch. Poor Wilson now has to get his but kicked by the chiefs 2 times every year now
Matthew 13:19
When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.
Finally damn
Next week, the chiefs got embarrassed very badly
now show the 2018 matchup
Now show the 2022 matchup in which they got blown out on christmas eve
Nice! Merry Christmas y’all 🎄☃
Seahawks》Quiefs
Their name is is the Chiefs.
Not the Quiefs too much longer. Much like the artists formerly known as the Cleveland Indians & the Washington Redskins 🤣
Seattle 2014 : awful play calling, cannot stop the run
Seattle 2022 : /insert Spiderman meme
wish life worked out in a way we could've seen MVP Mahomes vs the Legion of Boom
First
Charles was nasty but Beast mode is a dawg
Very impressive, running on a prime legion of boom
Pacheco is somewhere between Lynch and Charles - he's our new franchise RB for sure
Jamaal Charles was a beast!
3:09 Who said kelce can’t block 😂
