As a Chiefs fan, I was ecstatic when we got him from the niners. Watched him at Georgia Southern when he was the leading rusher. Ironically he was an all-state QB in HS and played WR/RB... Crazy athletic guy.

KC has won 8 of their last 9 overall and are now 12-3. The defense has been shaky for much of the season, but this was a good outing overall. Mahomes with another MVP caliber performance. Love seeing him and this team play despite what the haters say. Yes they can win the Superbowl this year. Congrats on the win KC 💪.

Nah...Im a Chiefs fan and they do have a chance to win SB, but its very slim. Defense isn't good enough to prevent big plays and offensively they aren't as dangerous compare to the passed Chiefs with T.Hill, considering this is the best WR corp, TE corp, best Oline and best RB corp maybe even best D Mahomes ever had. The lack of constant WR plays is really killing them. If they play a really strong offensive team its over for KC, they dont have enough fire power to keep up against a strong offensive team. Mahomes will need to do more than just pass the ball and hopefully the running game produce positive yards and Kelce dont see alot of double team and defense can make stop and prevent big passing plays. Too much condition for them to win it all in every game..
That rushing TD at the end of the game at 8:33, Mahomes went all out for the pylon and is one of the best plays I've ever seen any QB make. He really wanted that one and wasn't going to let anything stop him.
@AJ the way I see it the pylon is not the actual rule. I believe the rule is that if a part of the ball goes breaks the 3-D plane of the endzone then its a touchdown. The pylon is inside the plane so just touching it means you've broken the plane, hence a touchdown. So if they changed the rule, it would affect all touchdowns (even the ones in the middle of the endzone) where the whole ball would have to go through. A lot of touchdowns would not be counted (like those QB sneaks where the ball gets knocked right after breaking the plane)

Absolutely. Momentum on either side of the ball is a real thing and it's important they start getting some going into the post season if we're going to have a good run.

@@GOCHIEFSJMB Yeah. Bills or Bengals could beat us. 50/50 on any given day against those guys and of course, if we went all the way, the Eagles or Cowboys could definitely do the same. It's been another great year. I love watching them play every week.
You'll be disappointed soon enough again. They have one good outing and you're proud, shows how low the expectations are on defense year after year. Defense wins championships and until we get a top 5 defense we won't win any more SB.

As a Hawks fan, the team has already exceeded my expectations this year. We've got a great skill position core and we're set at qb. Tariq Woolen looks like he was the steal of last year's draft, and Walker is a STUD. But it's not like we're ready to make any noise in the playoffs even if we were to get in. We don't have a complete team yet. Now let's use our awesome 2023 draft picks to start building a great defense for the future

When Chiefs went up by 14 you could tell they weren't really interested in this game, Chiefs were just going thru the motions, it was obvious in the 4th when the Chiefs went down the field in 3 plays and scored a TD with little effort just to put the Final dagger in the Seahawks
I love this take. It's the same take I heard when they couldn't score td's against the Rams in the redzone, gave up a 27 point lead against the Broncos, and had to go to the overtime against the worst team in the league. They just didn't feel like playing up to their potential. There's two options, either that's true, which it's not but let's play devils advocate, and that type of attitude is going to come back and bite them in the playoffs, or they really are just an inconsistent, undisciplined team that beats themselves with penalties, bad play calls in the redzone, and a defense that plays great until the secondary gives up big plays on 3rd down situations. If that's the case they are ALSO in trouble in the playoffs. I wish I could believe that the Chiefs really are the unstoppable juggernaut they were two years ago, but I can't. I've seen a lot of one or two loss division champ Chiefs teams go down early bc of things we chose to make excuses for in the regular season. I hope they win it all. I really do. But what I hope and what actually happens are more often than not two different things.

Mahomes widened the MVP gap even more today, Hurts didn’t play, Burrow and Allen both threw 2 interceptions, Burrow being shut out in the second half and Allen not amounting to much in the pass game.

Seahawks are close. Need some additional speed on the linebacker level. Get rid of #57. Some DLine help and interior OLine and they should be fine. They miss Jamal Adams. A tone setter and speed on Defense.
Offense has to put up more then 3 pts for most the game also ...I'd say the Defense did fine of course could be better ...but Offense has to score

Chiefs finally have a red zone weapon with Jet (and Toney if he's available.) Chiefs did their sleepwalk through the 3rd quarter again. Another incredible game for Patrick MVP Mahomes II. And Karlaftis looks like a beast!

@@vulcanraven9701 there wasn't any recent film on him. Maybe a little but not much. They have more than half a season of game film with Geno in this offense now. Maybe they get some pieces in the off-season to bolster the team, maybe they draft a QB.
That diving touchdown by Mahomes was unreal. The effort and awareness and football smarts to know he just needed to reach for the pylon and carrying himself just a little bit further with that left hand on the ground. Just incredible. This is why he deserves MVP this year. Dude continues to shock and awe.

Encouraging performance for this Chiefs fan to see. I've felt that the team had been on autopilot most of the year, but I think they understand when it's time to pay attention and get into championship form. They might not have the horses to win it this year, but I guarantee they'll make either or both of Buffalo and Cincinnati beat them again to advance. Otherwise they'll be in the Super Bowl by default as no other team will be able to beat them. (I am a little worried about a potential wild card against San Diego, though, hard to beat a team three times in a season.)
Chiefs can take both of those teams, it just will be a super close game and i hate watching those.

Seattle is bad. They won few games at pure hype and luck, especially after first win against Broncos, but they are actually bad team.

You don't need to tell me how Mahomes and Chiefs are good for past few years, we all have eyes and we watch NFL, probably longer than you, because you're so stunned with Mahomes. And no, Chiefs defense doesn't usually hold teams to 10 PTS or less, Chiefs win their games with offense and in shoot outs, as soon as Mahomes has bad day or they face defense who can hold them to 20 PTS they lose easily. They live by their offense not by their defense. How good Chiefs defense is we saw against Broncos, where worst offense for last decade easily dropped 4 TDs at them.

As a SEA fan, Geno has improved and impressed with his athletics this season. I just wished he were Burrow / Brady / Manning intelligent. As a QB you must take what they give you. If they're coming up the field too fast, take off with the football. It keeps them honest.
I genuinely thought, midway through this season, the game was slowing down for G Smith.
The second half of the season, we've all witnessed he can't lead the team to next level play & victories.
The few times I saw him run it was like watching a dump truck trying to get moving on wet mud. Dude has no acceleration.

I’m a second generation Chiefs fan. My Popps would sneak me out of church to go to “sports bars” so we could watch them. We were almost always the only Chiefs fans there. We were bad for a long time, but I knew one day we would be great again. You never give up on your team and I’m so glad I never lost hope. I’m happy for all the new Chiefs fan who’ve come to realize what I’ve always known. Now my dad and I enjoy watching ours Chiefs play in the comfort of our home win or lose. Speaking as a Seattle fan, I had more enjoyment watching Kansas City today. Chiefs have an outstanding football team led by a most brilliant Mahomes. Kansas City is well coached, expertly cohesive, and hard working with amazing talent. Good luck to you guys in the playoffs! As far as Seattle is concerned, in 2015 the Seahawks lost in the Super Bowl due to one of the most stupid play calls in NFL history. Since then, the Seahawks have been disappointment after disappointment, going on eight years now. When will owner Ms. Jodi Alan have the guts to clean house and enforce a reset on this team including but not limited to releasing and making way for buyout of all coaching staff and their contracts. Enough is enough. Make Seattle Seahawks Great Again, Jodi!

A lot of people say that the Chiefs always stop playing when they get ahead and I think thats true but its not because they don't care. I think they are saving their plays for the playoffs when each game matters more. Why waste all of your moves and let your opponents find out how you are going to play when you are going to win the game anyway? Thats my theory, could be wrong but thats what I think.
