Its a great guitar, super versatile. Fender Telecaster. Its made for country blues stuff but it can play pre much anything just dont crank too much distortion since it has a single coil and you'll get a lot of feedback and noise.
yeah I been there. last time I went it was cheapo guitars like 'encore' and 'bluerock' never saw any cheap fender strats. suppose you just have to keep going regular to get lucky. did you buy a fender strat there??
if you live in cardiff to , then in deals end of albany road , off city roade , if you go to a big brand shop like cranes of spillers then you will pay top prices , its a case of knowing where to go
Over here in Holland you can buy a standard telecaster in any color for 570 euros but yes if you want one of those telecasters specials you probaly need to pay about 900-1400 euros

never seen a fender stratocaster (usa, japan or mexico) for £80 in the uk. I'd have bought one if they were. maybe you're thinking of a squier strat.
Another good "F" rock riff is Dinosaur Jr.'s "Feel the Pain." Speaking of which, Marty do some Dinosaur Jr! Please!
go to his channel and look through his videos he has one that shows all his gear. i thinks its something like a boss.
Use your ears dude! That's what they are there for! Play around with the settings until you get what you like!

the great thing with this is is that it works with pop punk like Green Day's Let Yourself Go
If your trying to end a solo its always good to work your way back down to the root note :)
