@@leonelgarcia2651 Story is being changed, anything goes now. Its a Rebirth, not a Remake. That was the point of the ending of "Remake", breaking away from the set story and be reborn into a different story.

The way Tifa is seen falling and that it seemingly happens in the reactor makes me think Cloud screaming Tifa is because he has a flashback to when she was slashed by Sephiroth.
Either that or new content because Tifa doesn’t really gets hurt in disc one.

Did...did you not play Remake? The story is going down a very different direction compared to the original VII. Anything can happen. Aerith surviving this time is a sure bet, for example.

@@cav25 Remember the party goes to Nibelheim in the present we even see Vincent in Nibelheim, what I’m saying is that Tifa falling or something will trigger a memory of when Tifa got hurt in the reactor be it when she feel back when they where kids or when Sephiroth slashed her which causes Cloud to scream.

The editing is so absolutely insane and well made
To anyone born after FF7 came out, it was a very amazing game, all people talked about, and we did love the graphics. Sure we knew it wasn't a lot of polygons on the characters but there was nothing else better. This was also during the time you could rent games from stores and it was very hard to rent this, if it ever returned to the video store.
8 made more of an impact imo then 7 , the hype for 8 was insane. Too bad the story wasnt on par with 7 and the combat system wasnt either. Square redeemed themselves with 9 and especially with 10

The first part of the remake twisted the story we knew and loved into a new direction.
This is a new adventure that might twist the story in mew and crazy ways which we both fear and love.
It wasn’t the “first part of the remake”. It was a sequel. This will be the next sequel.

This trailer is great and Cloud screaming Tifa’s name with so much emotion was definitely the highlight for me! There are so many character moments I’m looking forward to in this game! The music sounds incredible and action look awesome! This game is going to be something truly special!

The one who is marked for death this time is not Aerith but Tifa. Aerith dying will allow her to influence the planet and the LifeStream. Holy itself was too weak the stop the meteor. She is more of a hinderance to Sephiroth dead than alive. Tifa on the other hand, broke Sephiroth's manipulation over Cloud and help Cloud become whole again enough to stop Sephiroth.
If he kills Tifa, Cloud will be weak and vulnerable for him to control.
And together they will defy destiny...
