That’s really interesting, I did find the overall offering a little smaller compared to emirates at the moment. Didn’t see any snacks on demand but potentially like a few other carriers they might have that for those that want to eat more
Thanks for a great simple review. Not too much views of the wings. Good food review. We should be travelling with Singapore in Jan 2024. Thanks for this!
You’re very welcome! I do love a good wing view, sadly this one was largely a night flight but will try and get more wing shots in 😃 Have an amazing trip, they really are a superb operator 🇸🇬
Last time I tried economy class was onboard Bangladesh Airlines. There was next to nothing. Since I’ve watched this video for the first time, I for once, looked forward to fly with Singapore Airlines. Now I am in Singapore and the flight was luxurious compared to anything else I had tried in economy class. I flew from Copenhagen Airport, Denmark on a direct flight to Singapore. The crew was fantastic and pampered us with cakes, snacks and drinks. And the food was delicious. Overall a great experience. I got a ton of family members in my mother’s side and I’m actually half Danish and half Asian. I prefer Singapore by a long shot. The hot and humid climate is comfortable for me. The Coronavirus really made it hard to fulfill my dreams of having a trip to Singapore. My mother and I had planned this trip to be in 2020. But finally 2023 seemed to be our lucky year. All in all I can definitely recommend Singapore Airlines. I have flown with a lot of airlines in my childhood but Singapore Airlines is definitely the best. 😎🥰
Awesome overview! Sounds like a fantastic experience, Singapore Airlines really does delivery exceptionally time and time again. As for Singapore, it’s a fantastic climate and always a joy to visit. Hope 2024 is as good for you as well ✈️
I recently flew on the SQ A350 from Guangzhou to Singapore and had this product (which was shown in this video). The interior looks fantastic and has Hd tv screen. Unfortunately they didn’t have any Live TV on this A350 (303 seat version). But I still liked the Moving maps path show on the A350-900 because it shows the rego tail. Personally, the A350 economy class seats are much better than the older A350.
Flew on the a350 from Paris to Singapore. I thought the leg room was spacious until the person in front reclined and the meals were serviced. Gosh how no room you have then
You’re very welcome! From memory on that trip I was way back, perhaps around 48A or similar. I left some EarPods onboard so remember the inconvenience of having to get them retrieved 😅 It was a standard legroom window seat however in the rear cabin from memory. Safe travels ✈️
You’d think so right! They were actually the lights, the giveaway there is the subtle glass cover. It’s largely down to the airline what they choose to go for so would differ A350 to A350 :)
I’m travelling from MCR, UK to Singapore in 9 weeks on my way to New Zealand. Can you connect your headphones via Bluetooth to the planes screen to watch movies? Also, is it a standard USB on it that you can use to charge devices? What type of plug is it also? Thanks! 😁
Ohhhh those are some very good questions! Can’t remember on all fronts off hand, might need to scan the video super closely. Would assume standard USB though as so rare to see the USBC. That said, expect a 777 for that distance also so different aircraft I’d assume. All the best for your trip ✈️
@@Travelsbydreamer thanks for the reply! I did a little more research and it does look like it is a usual USB rather than USBC. It also looks like you can’t just connect headphones via Bluetooth on planes too! ☺️
That’s a great question and not something I’ve ever tried. It’s a very modern aircraft so you’d have the best possible chance but not at all sure, sorry.
No menu, no hot towel, no side dishes and no amenity kit. Until Singapore Airlines is back to how it was pre-covid, ANA, JAL, KAL, EVA and the Arab Springs airlines are easily the better options. Easily.
Really interesting to hear all the service bits which are missing. I flew exclusively One World pre Covid so good to hear what’s missing. EK however well behind due to service alone imo
Don't be fooled the sq a350 is crap in economy. Hard, upright seat with no legroom. Food rubbish and recline non existent and still obtrusive on person behind. Cabin crew however were fabulous. I didn't drink on this flight due to no sleep the night before. I'd recommend drinking as much as you can to minimise the hell. 6:49
Would be genuinely interested to hear who you’d recommend instead. This really is where economy is in this day and age. Their 32” of pitch is fairly class leading as sad as that sounds on the 350 today. Interesting comments about the food, others have commented on a similar trend. For my money SQ is up there with the best in any cabin….
My point is that people gush about this plane and it was such a disappointment. Tell It like it is, you are squashed in like Air Asia and the flight is very tiring and exasperating. You are right though, my experience with really modern planes is limited. We travel to SE Asia a lot and have done it over the years in A330, 767, 777, 787 (Jetstar Business, Royal Brunei) and none of them were as cramped as a350. If that is the future then my flying days are over. Luckily we are going back SQ A380 premium economy. We were in row 68 a,b and had the third seat spare. Still the woman in front of me reclined fully and I couldn't move. I reclined and the woman back of me screamed at me. Luckily I had worked out that the aisle seat armrest could be raised. It was the only way I could get out. I repeat, this might be the future but how anyone could say it's good is beyond me.
@@archietravers5697 sounds like your travel experience have been quite unfortunate in the drama front! SQ premium sounds good, I’d like to try that one day. I would agree though, the 350 thus far has been a little crammed across all airlines I’ve flown with on it. SQ about as good as it gets so far but economy isn’t in a great place. You really do get what you pay for on the flying front. Safe travels ✈️

I'm travelling this very type of plane from Johannesburg to Singapore tomorrow. I can't wait to fly with this awesome carrier 👍🏻👍🏻
Have an awesome trip! ✈️
Food service offerings have declined over the years, no starter or cheese and crackers. The meal tray used to be huge.

Actually what I meant was there’s usually too much of the wings. I’ve subscribed. Keep up the great content!
@@jimmygent6055 Ohhh I see, ideal in this case! Thanks so much 😃

Ahhh yes…can be a bit claustrophobic as soon as people recline. Joys of economy for sure 😅
Thank you for sharing detailed review! I'm planning to take this plane soon so..can you tell me about your seat number?! I want to know that😃

Thanks, they’re a great option for sure ✈️
confused on the no air vent...it looked like it had those little air things that you can adjust

What seat are you sitting at
66k from memory 🤟
So boarding economy equates to eating junk food?!
Video highlights a number of food options available via Dubai’s terminal 1.
