    Nice; I never knew the WL Toys protocal. Will add my K989 to my controller.

      The new one is XK X420. The old one if you still have the red handle transmitter with flames, it's V2x2. I believe channel order is the same but I can check it just to be sure.

    Thank you for the informative video. Changing the new servo center location seems very useful. And where do you find the receiver protocols? There should be a resource online for something like that.

    • @BeaversHobby
      @BeaversHobby  4 месяца назад

      We normally find out about the protocol from drone of the same brand. Then test out any sub-protocol to see which one works. Either that or just try everything available in the multiprotocol.

    I have been lurking here for a while learnt a lot from your videos, thanks a lot :)
    I have a question indeed, can I bind 284131 to my favorite rc transmitter Radiolink RC4GS? I know that this car has 2in1 esc&receiver, so what else should I buy in addition to Radiolink micro receiver? Thank you :)

    • @BeaversHobby
      @BeaversHobby  4 месяца назад

      Unfortunately you can't bind RC4GS to WLtoys directly. You'll need a multiprotocol module to do it. Here's a video I made about this topicruclips.net/video/zJmg_gv34us/видео.html .

    Thanks for great video, helped me setup car.
    What should I do when I need to cut min max steering? I have to cut it from 100/-100 to 75/-75, but now I dont use whole range of controller wheel end to end. Is there a way to spread that 75/-75 to end to end position of controller wheel? Thanks

    • @BeaversHobby
      @BeaversHobby  4 месяца назад +1

      That can be done in the input menu. You can change the weight in the input so it take the whole range on the wheel but scale the output down to the weight you set.

    Hi, on my external RM4IN1 from Radiomaster I have only the following types on mode MULTI: Config, BayanRX, DSM, DSM_RX, FS2A_RX, FrSkyRX, FrSky X, FrSkyX2, and HOTT.

      Sounds like it doesn't come with all the available protocols. You can flash the module with the latest firmware and see if there's more available. github.com/pascallanger/DIY-Multiprotocol-TX-Module

    The mt12 works with the new mini z right? Ma-02 and mr-03? The 4in 1 obviously

      Yes, it works with the new FHSS cars MA-02 (AWD), MR-03 (RWD) and also FWD, Buggy and 4x4 too.

    What is the WlToys protocol for the wl16800 Excavator?

  • @imy004
    @imy004 4 месяца назад +1

    That's cool you don't need to change its receiver to control, is setup u did can work on any wltoys model? Or u need to set another?

    • @BeaversHobby
      @BeaversHobby  4 месяца назад

      The channel setting is the same. Protocol will work with anything with the same transmitters. Mid point is different from car to car so you'll need to trim or adjust it separately.
      If you have many cars you can copy the model to another one and change only the mid point and it'll work,

      …you should split the throttle channel in two in mixes…forward and reverse…the reverse should be put to for example weight +40…for more controllable constant reverse whatever max rate the main forward throttle is set to…check out joshua bardwell for example setup radiomaster mt12…

    Hi there. Thank you for Video. If possible, how did you connect the Pin-outs of the 4in1 to the MT12 Cradle pins. ie: the GND, V+, and PWM. I am looking also at getting the ELRS version, as I have a 4in1 Module. Thanking you.

    • @BeaversHobby
      @BeaversHobby  Месяц назад +1

      Pinout with the nano pins pointing up goes from right to left in the same order as JR module from bottom to top.
      It's like this.
      Nano: [N/A, N/A, N/A, PPM/TELE, N/A , + PWR, GND, SERIAL]
      JR:
      [PPM/TELE]
      [N/A]
      [+ PWR]
      [GND]
      [SERIAL]
      You'll need at least 4 wires for it to work. The N/A ones don't do anything anyway.

      @@BeaversHobby Greatly appreciate the quick relply. Just to clarify, the Nano Pins Pointing up, is it the Cradle itself Pins looking frrom the Top, or the Nano Module itself, that plugs into the Cradle/Bay of the MT12. I fully understand and have the info on the 4in1 JR Module. Thanking you once again.

      @@mrlintonious My pleasure and best of luck. The voltage terminal is almost impossible to mess up so you should be fine. The problem I had when I DIY the converter was only the wires are not connected properly so, if that is sorted then it'll work.

    Can this MT12 bind to mini z awd too?

    • @BeaversHobby
      @BeaversHobby  4 месяца назад

      Yes, it can. You either need the 4-in-1 version or use the 4-in-1 module for ELRS version.
      It will bind to the FHSS (white antenna) and FHS (blue antenna) versions. It won't work if you have the old ASF version.

      Not yet as far as I know. It's been assigned in the multiprotocol project so let's wait and see.

      @BeaversHobby thanks, turbo racing is also radiomaster, they should add it...

    • @BeaversHobby
      @BeaversHobby  4 месяца назад

      @@KRUEGER_77 I think Turbo Racing is another company that RadioMaster collab with for 1 car (in the lineup of C series with RX7, Eclipse, etc.). I also mentioned in the review that it's weird RadioMaster transmitter doesn't work with the car they sell. Anyway, multiprotocol is another developer/project so it's understandable. RadioMaster should have picked SNT though. It uses Flysky AFHDS and works with multiprotocol.

      I bought the mt12 4in1, maybe it will work with turbo racing or same as your mt12?

    • @BeaversHobby
      @BeaversHobby  4 месяца назад

      @@KRUEGER_77 No, it won't. At least not yet. Multiprotocol is the same whether it's the internal module (that you bought) or external. It's an opensource project that RadioMaster use to make the transmitter. So until the developer implement it in the module, you can't use it.
