"Remind yourself that overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer." Too often, this quote from a single-player turn-based RPG is applicable in this super fast action team shooter.
Darkest Dungeon was one of the formative games for me becoming more self-critical. You really can't play that game with any kind of ego or you just gonna get curb stomped.
When I mained Mercy I used to get teammates who were "nice" to me in spawn. I learned quickly they were looking for a pocket, and more than likely they'd get me killed...so no more pockets for those guys. Now, the Genji who saved me from falling to death because the Hog pulled me into the Well while my team was distracted? I pocket that, easily.
I am the first person when I play Ashe to crouch infront of you and say hello, when I come out of spawn or you need a pickup im the 1 walking back or waiting, doesn't matter what hero I play tbh I always pick up the mercy or Kiriko. Also I have the voiceline on Ashe 'thats what you get the girl who has everything' I remember a mercy who pocketed me the entire game when I played Ashe, everytime I got a kill she would say superb, when I couldn't confirm a kill in 5 seconds she would say 'sometimes I'm not sure why I even bother and if I fed or died from a hanzo headshot you would hear 'you know I am not a miracle worker' it was hilarious. We played a few more games together haha
It's always been funny to me that DPS and tank think the audition ends when the spawn doors open xD I always have "prove you're worth my time" ready for when the match actually starts
Not only did his supports pocket him the whole game but his dps was playing with him and picking off the people giving him trouble. His team carried him and he couldn’t tell the difference…that says a lot about his awareness and game knowledge.
Hey I would be proud of a VOD like this too if I had 2 supports pumping my ass full with heals, giving me the ability to just go in and waste everything possible. Not to mention dps that actually follow up with my shenanigans. GOD IM SUCH A GOOD PLAYER!
So in Bronze a lot of fighting is the two tanks sort of Slap-boxing each other while everyone else kind of fights around them. Which explains his fixation for 1v1'ing the Tank.
sadly I'm diamond and I see this happening often as well when tanks are bad, like I see so many times guys picking DVA and instead of diving backline and melting a healer, they're just there endlessly shooting the tank...
@@vinhix I think I understand the reason for this. So one of the main comps is a sort of full assault comp where they attempt to just bulldoze past the enemy team. One of the ways teams counter it is to have the Tank hold off the other Tank then try to pick off the Supports while the Tank is distracted. Hence why the Tanks just start Slap-boxing. Unfortunately it gives the Tanks incredible tunnel-vision and makes them just hard focus the biggest target.
I ran into him once in quick play when I was playing tank and my friend was on support. At the end he said "tank diff" as if he didn't have 20 deaths and only a handful of elims.
As a support player I can confirm being friendly pre round to me will cause me to focus more on keeping you alive over the others. Literally the hierarchy of prioritization just gets insta shifted with just a lil hello and crouch interaction. Its insane how starved for attention and positive interaction we support players are.
@@Dingle.Donger I actually play support by pocketing whoever needs it at the moment. People engaging in 1v1's and such get a pocket to secure the win and in teamfights my prioritization is always to keep the other support up, then the tank, then the dps. But a dps being friendly to me in spawn (which is rare in its own right theyre usually tank players doing that) does make me keep an eye on them more and prioritizing helping them more if theyre 1v1ing someone or if theyre being attacked over the other dps and the tank. The other support still stays at #1 prioritization though, depending on the situation; because with experience you're able to figure out which player needs to be kept up in a teamfight to win it.

Nobody knows what a support diff actually looks like. If a support is carrying, you will have bigger numbers on dps and tank and think you're a god and you're the one carrying. Then on the flip side, if supports are the problem then more often than not it's not going to be reflected in the scoreboard numbers since about 90% of it is in using utility well and having good target prio. A Lifeweaver could have 10k healing and still be throwing the game because they're just pocketing the tank while the enemy Ana is shitting on the rest of their team and no one can contest the obj.
Watching Flats get more and more baffled as to what the hell is going on is delicious to me. As for why he didn't target other things, its Bronze Brain. Bronzebrain means that you only focus on the last object that stopped moving right in front of you, you ratchet onto the target and start tightening the tunnel vision, you just Bronzebrain the target you see until you see another shiny or you or your target cease existing. Its what stimulates the Dva pact, you get a bronze, you put them anywhere, even in another rank, and it happens, someone walks right in front of you and you go "SQUIRREL--I MEAN TARGET, ON THE LEFT!" and then just go after it.
When I saw the rein pin 2nd point all the way into enemies spawn when remattra respawned, I was utterly gobsmacked. I thought he would die for sure. He better thank his team for playing so aggro to keep him alive!
Something a lot of low rank players need to realize: if you were good, you wouldn't be in a low rank - and when it comes to Bronze you really gotta check your ego because you are in the lowest rank, that ego prevents you from improving and climbing.

Your commentary get me in trouble. Laughing so hard my boss think I'm on drugs or something.
You can always tell when someone has music blasting in their headset because they never react to anything around them ever. McCassidy's loud ass boot steps and this guy does not hear them 5 times.
I love rein mains I have no idea why
Love you too buddy
Love you too. Sadly, we’re about to become extinct with season 4 rein changes #justiceforrein

Galactic HQ music at the beginning kinda cold tho 🥶🥶

Flats for the rest of the video: STOP PUNCHING THE RAMATTRA STOP PUNCHING THE RAMATTRA STOP PUNCHING THE RAMATTRA STOP PUNCHING THE RAMATTRA STOP PUNCHING THE RAMATTRA STOP PUNCHING THE RAMATTRA STOP PUNCHING THE RAMATTRA
No matter how much you hate him, at least he actually earned the right to emote that time.
