The split vehicles were based from when Cog actually came in G1. He was just a drone part of the Titan Fortress Maximus. He splits into 2 vehicles.

I like Red Cog more because of all the extra weapons that I can share with others

I think it was neat that they finally released some of the weapons from the Netflix series with a figure so collectors could recreate their favorite scenes. However, I didn't collect much of the WfC trilogy so I actually sold the accessories to someone else for them to enjoy. I kept Red Cog to go with Grand Maximus though, and I think they look good together.

I don't know if Hasbro will release more cog variations at this point. I think the best time to have done that would have been during the War for Cybertron trilogy. I'm surprised we even got another color version of cog in the first place. I wouldn't bet on it but I also wouldn't be against it.

There is brown the mechanic and communications officer
Green and orange cog are soldiers and Yellow cog is a sargent

I found Red Cog at my local Target. I believe it is exclusive to Target.
