When I first heard about Legacy Titan Metroplex being from Cybertron I thought it was a misstep, but I was so wrong

For me it's the most articulate titan class figure. I love the double shoulder joints

I would not be surprised if Hasbro has a drillbit in the works right now. He could be a weaponiser or a core class figure.
Mini-cons could be a great addition for the core class in general.
And if they don't someone else does
I believe hasbro has said that they are considering mini cons for core class when they make more armada updates.
I would really like to see things like Minicons, Targetmasters etc in core class. Done right they could really add to the play pattern. With core class engineering they could make the Minicons fit to the other bots better, make Targetmasters that actually look like weapons rather than some kind of aggressive electric whisk....
Legacy Tidal Wave was confirmed at SDCC 2022 Q and A and is currently being worked on
They said they know people want Tidal Wave, but didn't confirm him as the next titan
Legacy and the next line after it will be having the Cybertron line figs redone. Hasbro is touching on all the TF lines to give us what we have been waiting on for years.
I wonder if they will hit on the TF R.I.D with the 5 mode MEGS, I still have to OG but will like to see and redo.
So this is technically not a city bot, but a gigantic excavator?
He's related to the G1 Metroplex in name only. In fact in the original Japanese series he's called "Megalo Convoy"

Its all but confirmed that legacy will will another trilogy so we have 2 years were we can get a tidal wave

@@speedeater500gamingchannel5 I can definitely see Tidal Wave getting the titan treatment but not Broadside. Tidal Wave’s a more popular character and also got a very memorable boss fight. Hasbro’s been hearing about people wanting a Titan Tidal Wave for years.
No mentions about the vehicle mode but it's all right, the selling point of this transformer are it's robot modes.
It's a very cool figure, but the combination of a $200 price tag and no Mini-Con and no splitting axe were the deal-breaker for me.
The Takara version of Cybertron Metroplex didn't come with a Mini-Con but instead had a Basic-class scale version of Cybertron Optimus Prime - I think that was one of the reasons they didn't included the Mini-Con. That and the rising costs of plastic. Thanks Joe Biden.
@@mrsamaritan6881 All the other Titans had a little Mini-Pal packed in with them, so it should've been a no-brainer to pack in a Mini-Con with a Titan from a line that was ALL ABOUT little pack-in Mini-Pals.
And in case you hadn't noticed, the price of plastic has been rising for the last couple decades, so it's got nothing to do with ANY politician. But despite These Troubling Times, the oil companies (plastic comes from oil, by the way) seem to be reporting record profits, so connect the dots as to who's really responsible . . . .
Better get him now before he gets more expensive and rare like the generations Metroplex did.
@@HELLCIO No. I can't afford to drop $200 on ANYTHING at the moment, let alone one figure. Besides, having never watched the Unicron Trilogy, I've got no connection to the character. He wasn't value for money for me at his current MSRP, so I'm DEFINITELY not getting him if he shoots up in aftermarket price.
I mean the people saying the other Titans had a mini partner don’t get why they had them. Scorponok had one but it was his literally head. Ark has Teletraan 1 but became the insides to the body essentially. Metroplex is very dense and isn’t missing a lot of plastic anywhere. So there isn’t room to add a deluxe mini con to scale with him. To me it’s understandable to keep the price low.
he has connector ramps as well to make him compatible with city bots near the knee joints check those out . cheers
Yep, haven't seen many mention this! It's a bit odd since he doesn't have a base mode tho. I guess it makes him feel more like his city namesake

That's great that you had positive thoughts about Cybertron Metroplex, however other videos in other channels and the comments complaining about it are the reason why I don't support G1 anymore and besides the only good robot-city Metroplex was the one in the Fall of Cybertron video game from High Moon.
Bruh, Activision didn't made WFC and FOC game, it was High Moon Studio instead.
A lot of G1 fans are loud, toxic and narcissistic but thankfully they don’t make up the majority of the fandom. I’m glad this figure is still selling and that people are enjoying it. I myself will be getting one soon.
I’m not trying to trash on all G1 fans btw. I know there’s a lot of nice ones out there.

@@ChaoticDarkness1 yeah some of us G1 fans even like Beast Wars and other lines after G1. I even like a lot of Bayverse figures. As much as I like this Metroplex, I can be ok not buying it at it’s current retail price.

I would have loved it better if it was done with the Junkion colors. It could have then been one of the colonization titans from the comics.
This figure can definitely hold its pose for ages I had my my one stuck in the same position since late 2022
And the ironic thing is he's the cheapest titan you can get on the market yet most poseable. Truly a titan that can be the most affordable.
I picked this guy up on a huge discount for $114 usd and man is he worth it. I mean, my only gripe with my copy is that one of the shoulders does not tab in(at least, too hard to tab in) and therefore, worker mode is not really possible for me, but I don’t care. Never saw it in the show. Hes great.

Wow! I'm sold. I really thought it was the same size as the original with some slight changes. Thanks for comparing them. Now I might sell my old one and get the new version I saw at Target by me.

Not a fan of this version of Metroplex. It does look awesome but I just can't justify paying the price. If he goes on sale, I might get him. I got burned on Titan class figures like The Ark and Black Zarak paying full price when they came out then retailers started discounting them big time. Hasbro Pulse had a massive sale a couple months ago and those figures were going for about $100 each! Way down from their $160+ original cost. I had to pass because I had them already and I don't have room for extras.
It's one of the problems with these big figures, if they are too successful they get out of stock soon and from that point it will be impossible to find them at retail price, having to pay a small fortune to get one, but if there is stock of them they will eventually get on sale due to the space they take at the store.

My metroplex recently fell and now his neck is kinda crooked. Any tips on how to fix it?
Sux they didn't add drillbit and they really need to rerelease The WFC Metroplex Ebay scalpers made pretty hard to find him i have an incomplete just missing scamper but still when they started the Titans he shoulda been rereleased so the people that missed out have a a chance to get him. Also they need A WFC Broadside Titan and i agree with Armada Tidal Wave. If you ever looked at the games ART book you see that the Carrier that you fight on is a Titan Broadside he looked great. Is this the 1st Titan that did not come with a regular class figure? Noticed it does not turn to the axe mode or cannon guess but worker modes way better.
I dont think Hasbro cares to re-release WFC Metroplex any time soon, it would cannibalize other titan sales, especially this Metroplex. Plus, their titan joints are so much better now. Id want a brand new G1 Metroplex, but after a few more characters preferably
Try and get Generations Metroplex, he's very good, lots of gun ports and good 3 modes

@@omniriven9806 Definitely the Best of the Titans in my opinion Side kick Slammer an Six Guns is his two. I got them just need Scamper the one that came with him. They did great with Slammer the G1 slammer never changed into a bot . Did you see the war for cybertron game Barricade toy coming out in studio series so good looking. Have a great day.

It's a fine update to the original metroplex but he makes for a lousy Titan class. Tryp, Omega and Skorp had much better value.
Disagree on Skorp. He really needed his gun or something more to make him more interesting imo.

Chela was an IDW-original Titan; somewhat like Trypticon, Chela lacks a conventional robot mode. (In her case, she was a giant predatory bird.)

NO! The fandom doesn't want a Titan-class sized Tidalwave, that would be stupid. Not only was Tidalwave NOT THAT big but he's suppose to become armor for Armada Megatron. Tidalwave should be Super-class (aka "Commander) sized or Supreme-class if Hasbro wants to being that size class back.
YOU don't want a Titan Class Tidal Wave; lots of other people do. Plus, nobody is going to force you to buy him, and it'd give you time to save up for the next Titan.
I dont think I need the combine gimmick. In the show, his size is inconsistent, and in the game he is MUCH bigger. Id prefer the bigger take since we already got the combo gimmick

Yes we do and Hasbro themselves have admitted they know people really want a titan Tidal Wave.
NOOOPE, still a hard pass for me. I would have been fine with Metrotitan or even a new take on the original Metroplex, but this...this does not do it for me.
