Fully articulated hands really should be a standard for these Titan class figures given the price (assuming the figure has "regular hands" and not claws). Glad I got this set along with their upgrade for Autobot Ark. I'm sure we'll get a set for Nemesis as well since those hands are not fully articulated either.
I really feel like that Drill Bit should have been deluxe-sized. That's what I assumed was going to eventually happen in Legacy. Some kind of deluxe-sized Weaponizer (maybe with shared parts with a preexisting Weaponizer) that you could disassemble into a bunch of parts to put onto another figure.
So, that extender for the weapon is actually incredibly useful for the robot mode too. One issue I've always found is that, unless I squat Metroplex down, the weapon doesn't quite reach the ground when held upright, thus that extra length makes it so it does actually reach the ground.
Thank you for the review! Wasnt sure if I still wanted this kit or not, but Drillbit came out nice and I think core class size is perfect for him. The hands are also really nice. Still think the price is a little steep, but thankfully I only paid 100$ for Metroplex so I can justify it.
I love seeing this demonstrated; I almost wish Drill Bit were scaled to fit the cockpit between the shovel and wheel (I’m using the Cybertron Drill Bit and his wheels are a tiny bit too wide to fit in there without bowing the sides a little). Overall I may well check this out, though.
Well…yeah 😂 it’s probably worth half the cost of this $60 kit. Hasbro’s core classes are $10. Why wouldn’t this be infinitely better? Apples to oranges bud
Neat to see the updated drill bit for metroplex never got the original since my copy of transformers cybertron metroplex was a second hand toy, not sure the fill in pieces were needed, I am content with owning a copy of transformers cybertron metroplex I have no need for the remake
I'm going to be honest and say that Transformers Cybertron Metroplex is my favorite version, since he was my introduction to the character. The fact that he has a Scottish accent is the hilarious icing on the cake.
I love the original version in the series Transformer Cybertron Metroplex I suggest that one Third party transformer will remake the original version improve the size and articulated parts like hands and the foot tilts. And also the minicon with the cyber planet keys attached to the giant axed and they transformed to battle mode 😎☝️
Highly unlikely, the Legacy version is far better than the original in every single way. The ommission of gimmicks and mini cons is a downside, but I personally don't care about that.
Getting more and more annoyed with DNA adding needless figures to the kits and doubling the price when we all know Hasbro will release a deluxe weaponizer of him in the next year. I REALLY want those hands, but idk that I can justify a $70 purchase just for that.
considering a KO was made of the Menasor kit without the gun parts, I assume the same will be made of this one without Drillbit. if not, ebay will have some you can get I'm sure.
@@bt1234567892010 maybe, but eBay sellers severely upsell their products 99% of the time anyways, so odds are just the hands on eBay will turn up as 90% of the original cost. But fingers crossed DNA sells a version without him, that'd be great.
This is why I don't buy anything outside of Amazon, unless it's from a reputable seller who isn't based in China on Ebay. There are multiple DNA kits available on Amazon, but none for any of the figures I'm planning on getting.
Thanks for telling me and as a Transformer nerd I should have known my mistake earlier and Transformers Cybertron is favorite of the series next to Transformers Prime
@@alansorenson9124 As Transformers nerds we’re bound to make a mistake every now and then. Too bad they didn't include a new waist ratchet. The normal one is garbage making Cybertron Metroplex unposable except in the default standing straight up position and he can't even hold the weight of his weapon.
Not worth £70, especially when the figure itself costs £110, and this upgrade kit barely adds any value. These upgrade kits are ridiculously overpriced for something that isn't even officially licensed. Also, the sellers which sell this kit in the UK are dodgy and unreliable.
I love a solid kit like this, it doesn’t feel like too many “useless” upgrades.

now the question is how long until mini-con upgrades for the four current armada figures?

Been watching u for years man glad to see u still making shweet vidyas
Cannot wait for your review of the next DNA Design 40 upgrade kit fir Legacy Megatron Transmeteal 2 Dragon version.
As long as he can actually hold his weapon its a must buy lol
I wish the kit included bigger pylons for the excavator mode to make it stand out more.
I just bought Metroplex and the original Cybertron one as well just a couple of days ago. Thanks for this video to help me decide to upgrade mine.
all Metroplex needs now is the gold Giant Planet key

Legacy Metroplex?

Still wish his axe opened up. But that shouldve been on the stock figure
It would've been nice if Drillbit actually turned into something nice looking instead of "bad 2000s toy design again but with extra steps"
Hasbro should have already made it this way especially the hands
I will say that this Drillbit minicon looks better than the transformers armada figure.
It didn’t come out from Armada. It came from Cybertron.
