@MrGriff305 Sure thing Bob. Maybe read the artemis mission profile and figure out what vehicle is actually gonna touch down on the moon. It's not SLS.
@MrGriff305 So you're 12, cool. Ask your teacher what vehicle is slated to land on the moon.

Nothing to do with your original comment.
@@theonewiththeeyeoftruth884 Yes it does. SLS is only a redundant taxi service, Strarship will do the touchdown.

Great work!
Looking for the age of rapidly sending people to the moon, and back, 100 people at a time, with a large reusable rocket.
Go team Space!
Make a grown man cry why don't ya? MORE OF THIS! The public needs to see this progress! Show off what you're doing, exactly like this!
I just got picked up to work for Northrop's Space Systems - Propulsion Systems unit, and couldn't be more humbled and proud. Hasn't sunken in yet.
i am genuinly so happy to be alive to see this. godspeed, artemis
Ey, it's the senate launch system
I swear to good it looks like the space shuttles booosters and tank
@@EvilNeuro because it are the space shuttle boosters and tank. The senate forced NASA to build the rocket out of obsolete parts to "preserve jobs". The SLS is basically what happens when incompetent politicians try to do rocket science
I really hope Christina and Victor are going to the moon! They are both amazing!!!
They will probably be going to MARS
WOHOOOOOO!!! HERE WE GO AGAIN! I'm going to watch this launch live, its going to be momentous to go see this. The last time we went to the moon, my dad was a kid. He remembers watching it. Now, his children get to see us do it again. This is going to be amazing!
Fly orange rocket!!! Fly you big beauty!!!
This video sends shivers up my spine. I can't wait to see this!!!
Best of luck! Can't wait much more :)
My plans to attend the upcoming Artemis I launch were just confirmed today! I cannot believe what an honor and privilege to witness such an amazing feat of engineering and culmination of so many amazing people's contribution coming together to accomplish something so inspirational! So excited!!!!
I'm in awe.
I'm so happy this event is coming, and not just because im a big space nerd and nasa fan
I'm so excited! Lookin' forward to its launch 💜
Since the last space shuttle missions happened, I’ve never been this exited for space exploration
Do you not see what space x is doing? Artemis is nothing without them. Who cares about some lunar landers when you don't have a rocket to build a moon base. That's starship👍
@@MNice82 since when did I mention Artemis you dingus
So excited for this, good luck NASA.
This is why I am grinding my a$$ to learn Aerospace Engineering. Its so fascinating.
Go NASA! Go Artemis!
Its quite exciting seeing all the progress made in space, both from NASA and private companies
I am so excited for this mission !! I can't wait to see humans back on moon !!
I hope they get to launch it some day.
Gradual progress is better than no progress.
KSP has never been this intense in my entire life
Ksp 2 will be launched almost at the same time as Artemis. And that’s what we call good timing.
At least 1 astronaut better do a M.J. moonwalk while up there!! XD
For real i wanna see it in tribute to michael
So cool..
This mission is going to inspire a lot of kids to become scientists and engineers .
If it were possible to hold my breath till this happens…I totally would.
I look up constantly at our moon and can’t wait to look at it for the first time in my life and KNOW there’s our people there.
Been waiting since December 1972! Can't wait!!!!
I'm so excited for this.
It cost $20bil, but its worth it. I can't wait to see that live. Thanks NASA for everything.
A single launch costs 2B.
Its the cheapest human-rated obit capable Luna rocket ever made.
@@stekra3159 out of a sample size of 2 lol
@@stekra3159 no its not. That would be the Starship system that's actually about to go to orbital velocity in a few days.
Taxpayers have spent next to nothing developing THAT vehicle. Unlike the $20+ billion we've sunk in to the boondoggle SLS program.
@@SWRaptor1 The Starship currently isn't anywhere near being human-rated.
Love NASA
I’m so happy to be alive and be seeing this with my eyes so lucky such an exciting time🙏
This is what we want Launch to the moon!!
Go NASA, go SpaceX with love from Sweden.
I use Arch too btw

I'm looking forward to the Artemis missions with great anticipation, bringing back the heady days of the Apollo program.

NASA: we are going back to the moon
also NASA: lol guys we forgot to develop the spacesuits....
Elon: Don't worry, I'll save you a seat by the crater...

I've been so hyped for this, and this video is amazing.
I am actually so proud to live in this generation. So proud to be able to witness this. ❤
I'm so happy to have lived in the generation that was growing up during Mercury, Gemini, an Apollo...and now to finally witness them going back. I wish I could make it to see them go to Mars. I'm going to give it my best shot! I still have the newspapers I saved from July 20, 1969, with the headline in large red print, MEN ON MOON
Fantastic Teamwork!!!!
I don't care if I'm in school while Artemis is launching, I'm watching it.
Just tell your teacher to show on TV or someting?
@@prashant.sonali101 I'm in High school. I doubt any of my teacher want to use class time watching a rocket launch to the moon.
@@hermitsunite953 Why wouldn't they?
I cannot wait to see this beast of a rocket liftoff from LC-39B.
It's gonna be amazing!
It will be only the 2nd moon launch ever from Pad B.
@@frankbrockler Second only to Apollo 10.
Pad B was used at the time to give crews more time to refurbish Pad A for Apollo 11 following Apollo 9. Pad B wasn't used again until Skylab 2 as the frequency of Apollo-Saturn V launches was reduced. After the launch of Skylab on the last Saturn V, Pad B was used for Skylabs 2, 3, 4, and ASTP as Pad A's modifications for the Shuttle started immediately afterward.
i've been waiting for a long time and I hope NASA's gonna make their way to the moon soon !! 🌙
Reminds me of an economics teacher advice : give a target, or a date, but not both
Bad teacher. It is target, date and budget. Pick 2.
wow are economic science classes always that bad
Say that again and then Think Apollo. Target and date met. Now ask yourself why ( you won't figure it out if you went to public schools in the u.s)
@@johnspencer3994 sure (all my youth) but apollo is not the subject. Speaking of school anywhere, it is not because you got an A+++ grade 50 years ago that you are allowed to have your assignment 15 years+ overdue 50 years later. Born too late to see first moon landing. Now not gonna miss this
Congratulations to NASA. Look forward to see the upcoming mission!
I hope nasa will get funded more after the landing.
Unfortunately, if history is any indication of the future, it will get slashed after the first Artemis landing.

Wow. This is something i never thought i would see in my life
Really hope the uncrewed test flight will be happening soon. Really can’t wait. Although in all honesty, after all the constant delays and changes along the way, I’m much more looking forward now to SpaceX‘s attempt.
Spacex won’t be going anywhere near the moon for a while
Yeah, we wont see SLS doing anything until at least 2022, if not maybe 2023 if Starliner is any indication of Boeing being able to field a working vehicle.
@@brandonglover2276 neither will SLS. I doubt we see it fly before 2023.
@@SWRaptor1 do you really think that? SLS is literally nearly fully stacked a ready to go for final testing?
@@brandonglover2276 yeah, Starliner, also built by Boeing was already built, launched, and in orbit messed up... a lot. It's now been 2 years and Starliner still hasn't flown again. Yet SpaceX is putting humans in orbit with a regularity now.
Let's not forget that Boeing is the primary on this vehicle and they have an abysmal record for the last 6-8 years in almost ALL aspects of their business. So acting all incredulous about MY comment is really silly. Especially with Starship about to go to orbital velocity and SLS is being pushed to 2022 at the earliest.
