It is interesting how real people are not being featured in music videos anymore. The focus is primarily on the singer and his/her appearance, wealth and outfit. The 90's were about people or at least it felt like the music made was about you and me, and him, and her, and everybody was included.

Her work is timeless in every decade or era..shes always been a visionary beyond many other artists and has and will continue to break the boundaries and open the minds, eyes and hearts of a world that has been repressed and conditioned in the sense of our universal message of love she expresses for all through her art, we can relate and will gravitate towards raw truth and love always and can never deny that!💞✌😎
the confessions tour is the closing act to 15 years of class and genius... not that she hasn't done anything good eversince, but this one was just... another level
There is something so magical and spiritual about her. I love how this has themes of spirituality mixed with down on the streets reality of the material world. Each shot is like a carefully composed photograph.
Her music will always be timeless..I feel sorry for artists who cant find an outlet to have their music heard because they are deemed to old...I remember as a child of the eighties listening to music that was 20 or 30 years older than me and getting enjoyment from...
Such a dumb generation honestly 😅 my Moroccan mom used to say “music have no time, no race, no generation, no nationality. it’s the art that bring all people together” ❤
Even if you mute this video, you can still appreciate it. There is just beauty in every shot. They dont make music videos like this anymore. What we have now are always saturated with candy colors, and overly sexualized. This music video is also about breaking barriers. While RNB is a Black Man's music it is a woman who is performing it. We see African Americans, there is one shot of an Albino African American, we see the performer is married to a Latino dude. But their skin color dont matter because its all shot in black and white
This is one of the flyest videos she has ever done. She's done many but this is my favorite. She makes you feel like you are in Harlem with her in this video
"secret" is madonna's best song and video ever. the song gives you that R&B vibe. it's very mellow and classy. the video depicts the beauty of African American culture. very chic!
I was in my 20's that entire decade having turned 20 in 1990 and I was so lucky having that music as the soundtrack to the movie which was my young adult life.
This made me understand the purpose of music videos. They are not only a way to hype up a release but also to provide additional context to the lyrical content and message of the song. When I listened to this song I didn’t really understand the message but now I do, that you don’t know everything that makes up a person, that in a world where you can’t be who you want to be the happiest places you can be are inside your own head. And also that you really learn who a person is once they share their true selves with you. It’s quite beautiful. And I love this song even more now. 💟

Agreed. The 80s made Madonna a star. But in the 90s she became an artist.
She was a hot commodity back then! I used to have this CD blarring in my car radio. Love this song!
THIS VIDEO IS AMAZING!!!! MADONNA IS THE BEST SELLING FEMALE ARTIST OF ALL TIME!!
HAPPY 30TH ANNIVERSARY BEDTIME STORIESSS!!!!
This is in my top 5 Madonna songs of all time. Classic. Her eyes when she's walking and looks at the camera.... i faint.
That opening guitar chords perfectly set the mood for the rest of the song. Amazingly produced!
I love the early-mid 90s.. they have the best songs.
Thirty years ago, Madonna touched the soul of fans worldwide with her "Secret"! Truly the Queen Of Pop!
Such an amazing video, perfect photography and production. I wish her pop music was still this sophisticated.
Mirko, bilo bi sjajno. U pravu si.
Ghosttown & Living for love
Mirko Bozic I wish she didn't oversing. Every new song sounds strained. Here she sounds so comfortable & not in competition with the music.
Rebelblue nope sorry, try again
Mirko Bozic 👍
One of the best lines...
"Until I learned to love myself
I was never ever lovin' anybody else..." So true.
It made me feel SEEN.
a song still better the most of songs in 2024.
You bet!!!!!!! Greetings from my country Costa Rica.
Better than all of the songs in 2020 imo... 😎😉
Totally agree with you.

My favorite Madonna song.
johnnyatab good choice
1994: Hit. 💘
2020: Still a hit. 💘
2030: Hit forever. 💘
r u writing this at every madonna song? :)))
love her vocals here
There is something so magical and spiritual about her. I love how this has themes of spirituality mixed with down on the streets reality of the material world. Each shot is like a carefully composed photograph.
It’s one of her timeless masterpieces. I would be lost without her songs since 30 years ago.
Yess siempre
👍♥️🎸🔥🐐
One of her most underrated hits .
Yeahh
I can’t tell you how much I love this song.
If I ever fall in love again I want this to be played for my wedding dance.
its.......masturbation song man........look for the lyrics and figure it out watching the video
Some❤
🔥🎸👍♥️🐐
Me too❤️
My favorite music from Madonna❤
The vibe is amazing
👍♥️
This is one of Madonna’s best tracks! ❤
👍♥️
🙋♀️❤
I dont know what is more impressive, the beauty of this song or beauty of Madonna. Just stunning ♥
Exacto!
This is pure soul music by Madonna !!!! pure classic. Soul music needs to come back, this is real r and b !!!!.
Je ne l'ai jamais vu aussi belle, sensuelle et magnifique à ce moment là !
Her music will always be timeless..I feel sorry for artists who cant find an outlet to have their music heard because they are deemed to old...I remember as a child of the eighties listening to music that was 20 or 30 years older than me and getting enjoyment from...
Good music is timeless.
копия софии ротару, такая же бабка
Yea Madonna rocks she is the best
Yeah
Such a dumb generation honestly 😅 my Moroccan mom used to say “music have no time, no race, no generation, no nationality. it’s the art that bring all people together” ❤
Madonna is the Queen of Pop!
The meaning behind this video is just ahead of her time. Absolutely perfection!
This song is a masterpiece, LIKE!!!!!
I love Madonna also because she talked about diversity back in the 80s and 90s when nobody else was!
Even her tours promote diversity - look at the dancers, back up singers and musicians she works with.
Like when she started talking with a British accent. How diverse!!
Màdonna saved my life.
@@sethralavode9012 she lived in England for 7 years, hence a British accent. She even laughed about it when seeing interviews from back then
Gross. White erasure isn't a positivity quality.
This is one of the flyest videos she has ever done. She's done many but this is my favorite. She makes you feel like you are in Harlem with her in this video
Madonna: Secret the greatest hits from the 90s.
"secret" is madonna's best song and video ever. the song gives you that R&B vibe. it's very mellow and classy. the video depicts the beauty of African American culture. very chic!
That's cause it was written by Dallas Austin. :-)
André Wålker lmaooo shade! palm tree!
I can't stand this BITCH, but YES, this was a great don't and CD.
André Wålker yeah, "bedtime stories" was a really good album from beginning to end. i guess because it was R&B inspired. R&B is a sub-genre.
Björk wrote some of the songs on it too. #TeamAnyoneButMadonna
This song is dope anybody listening in 2020
Can anyone explain the video?
I listen at it every day damn near. I see you know how to start off the New Year brother!
This song is amazing & so is Madonna . They don’t make music like This anymore . I’m still listening in 2020
Madonna in a city ... What needs explaining lol
I sure am how about you?
This song is definitely timeless and one of her best!
the way she walks in the street is just wawww what a classy and elegance powerfull woman in this video
She's a ray of light..
A beautiful ray of light.
Love for Madonna ❤️
This song just randomly popped in my head and BAM!! here I am!!
HI
@@glubglubglub732 Hola
Same!
Some lol
Same here just 5 min ago
Memories... ✨
Sometimes I miss the 90s feeling inside... 💙 Anyone else?
So much
Todo el tiempo 😢,extraño esa gloriosa década
I was in my 20's that entire decade having turned 20 in 1990 and I was so lucky having that music as the soundtrack to the movie which was my young adult life.
So do I ♥🤍
This made me understand the purpose of music videos. 💟
Imagine if she sang this on the upcoming Celebration tour.
Praying that she will!
Omg i hope so!!
Saw her Saturday in Belgium, but sadly she didn't... anyway, great performance at 65. Timeless
@@ludovicsoulard1896 Was this in Antwerp? One of my friends was there. We saw her in London; a shame about Secret but she did so, so many of her other hits.
Madonna may not be the greatest Singer ,but it's amazing what she can do with that voice, she's so versatile and capable of endorse different cultures, that's why she is the Queen
***** But it's precisely cause she doesn't scream & her raw, sensuality, sweetness, feeling & emotion overflowing on Madonna's voice that always made her different.
Gina Sousa Branco true
Maddona has a good voice better than the voice of Shit artists like Arianna grande,Nicky Manaj, modern day Britney Spears, ect.
orestes samolis I love ariana.
orestes samolis Also true.
Che assolo di chitarra
DA BRIVIDI 👍
Ho letto un commento in cui una persona dice che questa sia la più bella canzone cantata da Madonna.. Subito ho pensato che esagerasse e invece MI SA CHE HA RAGIONE
Back when Madonna was sooo RnB with Bedtime Stories album.
I think this song is one of her best songs, but so underrated. Take A Bow overshadows it forever.
It was 1994 and when I first heard this song I was in the awe. The sublime R&B tones of the song along with Madonna's voice made me a fan. Greetings from Poland :)
Madonna killed on this song. Totally love her. 2021 and still jamming to her music.
