I've had so many conversations with a friend of mine who is recovering from a major surgery about how frustrating it is when our bodies don't or can't work the way we want them to. It's such a hard experience, but I'm sending positivity and comfort your way!
Huhh, this video was actually a real masterpiece in my opinion. Snowy, movie-like clips and cozy reading scenes...and I have to say, it is really cool that you played the flute and the guitar and showed that too in this video! So excited for your further wintery vlogs/content! I have been here for a while but I've also been gone for short periods of times - especially when school and life got really busy - but I am really excited to be here with you again. And it's really great that when you are stressed you do not disappear, you just share that with us too and we can support you if only in the comments but we can and you help us too, so greatful for you emma.
I’m NOT a snow person at all but man you make me like it more. I love how we get to see the magic of the everyday through your eyes! I cry with you when you cry over things and laugh when you laugh!!!! Thank you for this!
Emma, I subscribed to your channel early 2021 and you make me happy throughout the year with your cheerful vlogs and bookish talks. Oh I also into classics and owning 40+ classic books because of you. You make us happy so please be happy too 🥲 Talking about your anxiety, please don't put pressure on yourself. Take a break if you really need too. Take a rest, you're doing great. I hope everything will be okay. You always there for us so we hope we can always there for you too.
Good Morning Emmie... I have been binging your channel for the last three ays and I adore all of your content. I m a 43 year old mom oof 4 and I just found out that I love to read. Your college and TBI story hits home and I adore that you are vulnerable enoughto share your journey. Sending love and positive vibes from Warren, Ohio. I am hoping you feel better as the days go by and things get better and brighter. Happy Holidays from us to you lovely
As a sufferer of chronic illness and am mostly housebound, your vlogs give me a sense of adventure and coziness that I don't typically get to feel.I hope your rough period of anxiety gets better and so do your aches/pains.Its the worst when your body just doesn't want to function the way it should.Just know you are not alone and I wish you and for family the happiest and healthiest of holidays! ❤
Brilliant, I walk out of my three-hour exam with no more stressful shit to do for a while and I am greeted by a lovely long video. I could not be more happy right now.
Hi Emmie! I found your channel this past summer and immediately subscribed. I have struggled with depression and anxiety my entire life and I am finally getting a grip on it and finding hobbies. I have found reading to be one of them! I love to watch your videos they are very relaxing. Congrats on 200k subscribers! Keep up the great work
When I first started watching emma, her subscriber count was around at 7k, i think. Her describing Great Expectations so beautifully inside a car was more than enough to know that i'll be here for a long time! Watching from Bangladesh! Sending lots of love and thank you for introducing me to so many great books. Your taste in literature is kinda shaping mine and i'm so happy about it.
I’ve recently discovered your channel and now watch your videos in the morning as part of my morning routine (gives me so much serotonin), I absolutely love how much effort you put into you’re videos!! They are honestly so beautiful and so comforting. So glad to be here!!
hi! been subscribed since mid-late 2020 and i never really comment, but shoutouts to the youtube recs for recommending me your channel. i'm a (still burnt out) nurse, and your channel came at a really pivotal time in my career. your videos (along w/ some other youtubers) have, and still are, my go to ways to destress after really hard shifts. so with that i just wanted to say congrats on the 200k!!! absolutely deserving, and can't wait to see your continued success!!
Hi Emmie! I'm María, a 25 year law student from Spain. I've been subscriber since few months ago and I'm literally in love with your channel content. I started watching your videos for improving my level of English comprehension and I rest here for your lovely way of being/personality/etc. Hope you keep uploading new videos in which I found peace and calm. Lots of love.
emmie i suffered a traumatic event and now have to lie in bed for huge chunks of the day, and your videos have been bringing me so much joy while i rest!!!
I so so hope you’re doing alright and will heal quickly, in the early days with the concussion laying in bed was all I could do and I know how frustrating it feels - audiobooks, music, and podcasts were my distractions! Im so glad you’re able to watch videos, sending you so much love🌼
Hi from Florida! I recently subscribed and already binged watched almost all your videos! They are so soothing. As someone who has never seen snow, I love watching it on your videos. ❤
I've been following your channel for a little bit, got back into reading a lot after losing my fiancé late last year. Looked through yt to find reading channels and found yours and it has been a blessing, you've introduced so many good books that I wouldn't have heard of or picked up, so thank you and keep doing what you're doing coz you're awesome
Thank you for your cozy videos, as always :) Im going through so many major life changes right now and your videos always bring me so much comfort. Sending all the love from Montreal 🤗
Emma, I've been here for a while, since maybe 34k and I'm so grateful for your channel! I've always been reading classics and literary fiction, and had a hard time finding people who had read the same things, so thank you for being that book friend to me! I also struggled this past year with my body and mind not working properly (found the reason and I'm much better now!) and had to reduce the amount of classes I could take at university, which I took very hard, but you were part of the reason that made me be okay with it and be patient with my body, so thank you!
Hey Emma, I discovered your channel this year, soon after I moved from Ontario to the US, and I immediately got the 'Canadian' vibes. Your channel made me feel like home right away (although I'm not originally from Canada). I love your thoughtful analyses, I was having a hard time finding a booktube channel that talks about more than the hype books of the season and I love you're also talking about classics. I feel for you and pain issues. For the past 2 years I've been hit by a severe form of IBS and this one is here to stay (associated with bacterial overgrowth). It's changed my life completely, it's altered my diet severely (plant-based ingredients were my favorite and now they're trying to kill me; I miss a big salad soooo much) and it came with a lot a lot of pain (and anxiety ). Mindfulness, a good doctor and lots and lots of books have helped. I hear you, I know how it's like to have a day when your productivity is low because the pain makes it hard to focus. And yet, with friends, family and books (lots of books) we manage. Oh, and walks. You make me miss snow, and I never thought I'd say that :D. Warm hugs from south of the border
I've been subcribed to you for AWHILE and you've been such a massive comfort. I've had a really awful year mentally and I always come to your channel when I'm not feeling great. Anyway, I'm from London and have always enjoyed reading. I'm currently reading Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari but it's taken me ages, yet I'm enjoying it. I hope you're okay, much love.
hi! this is such a comforting space for me and it’s so nice to know it might be the same for you, I hope the next year is so much better for you, sending you all the good things🌼 ooh I have that one in my audiobooks hold actually but I keep putting it off!
Hi Emmie, I subscribed to this channel long ago but only recently started watching videos that I hadn't watched before. I am from India but I am currently living in New York. I am an acting student and I love reading. Apart from the book recs, I just find your videos very calming and peaceful. I recently met a person who also watches your videos and we literally spent the next hour talking about your videos. Love these frequent and quick uploads. These are my Netflix and chill videos. Whether I am eating, cooking, or cleaning, I just put on your videos. Thank you for everything that you do.
I've been watching your videos for about three weeks(?) now and i love your videos, they're so cozy and nice to watch, you have been one of the inspirations for getting back into reading after like 5 years of not reading anything for myself. Your videos recommending videos are some of my favorite. And thank you so much for getting me back into reading!! also, i live in norway so we have a bunch of snow and it gets really dark in the wintertimes so it's really nice to watch your videos with my fairy lights on while looking at the snow outside my window :))
hi emma! introducing myself as requested 🥰 i’m Faye, i’m 18, live in the UK, and discovered your channel in what was i think early 2021. i have been the biggest bookworm all my life and have found such solace and companionship in your videos. how you talk about the nuances of language in books and take such pleasure in really zooming in and out and analysing and re-analysing is so thrilling and beautiful to me, and has led to me falling even deeper in love with books. i read war and peace alongside you and carolyn back in may, and have such happy memories of reading a section and diving headfirst into one of your Tolstoy Diaries videos for your thoughts. you feel like such a close friend, to the point where i don’t know how or why i’ve never commented before! ♡ you’re such a beautiful soul and bring such contentment and serenity to so many people. lots and lots of love xxx
Hi Emma! I actually found your channel only a few weeks ago and have absolutely loved getting to know you through your videos. I love how open and honest you are about your opinions on books and classics , but also just with life. I’ve really gotten back into reading recently, especially trying to read more classics since Im exposed to them so often through my job at a bookstore, and just having someone to relate with is super inspiring and heart warming on these colder days. Love you 💛 keep being honestly you.
i love your chanel so much, emmie! you're definitely one of my favorite booktubers and 200k is all you deserved :D this vlog was so nice and cozy, the mental health talk felt like a warm hug, thanks for that! hope you will be better soon :) and actually, For the Wolf is on my TBR so it's probably one of my next reads and I'm quite excited about it. loved your flute and guitar. love from France!
Emmie, thank you for sharing who you are with us. It's great that you were able to recognize that your mental health needed to move up on your priority list. It can only get better from here. There may be setbacks bc that's just life, but you will continue to gain the tools to push through. I wrestle with anxiety myself and I want to say you got this!
hi Emmie... i have discovered your channel this summer and i'm so glad that i did. you really have an inspiring aura and not just on books, you inspire me for a lot of things. i just love your content. sending you lots of love from Azerbaijan
Hi, Emma. Im so glad you talked about this issues of mental health on your vídeo because i struggle really Hard with the same problems, having panic attacks for no "apparent reason" and sometimes i feel so guilty for it cause i have no reason to feel this way. Anyway thank you só much for being this amazing person and making your channel a safe space for everyone! Big kisses from Rio de Janeiro, Brasil
I live in California and I just have to say I’m insanely jealous of your weather and I’m living the winter wonderland vicariously through your vids. This week has only been the second week we haven’t had 80deg weather.
Hi Emma!! I'm from the states, going back and forth between home (Indiana) and school (Michigan). I've been watching your videos for a few months now, starting over the summer. I have you and your content to thank for inspiring me to get back into reading regularly again, which has been so wonderful and inspiring. I read One Hundred Years of Solitude over the summer because of how highly you spoke of it and it left me in awe and wanting to read more magical realism. Thanks so much for your lovely, calming videos and deeply inspiring content about reading. Hope the rest of this winter treats you well
I have been watching for about 3 months and gradually working my way through all your episodes. I understand the anxiety I often feel anxious for no reason.
these videos are so good for getting into a wintery vibe! hope your mental health gets better soon, your content helps me and so many others with their own mental health issues. taking care of yourself is super important and i'm pretty sure most people would agree to not ever push yourself for content or anything of the like. hope the winter break takes a lot of the academic stress off too
i cant stop thinking about one of your recent videos where you talked about get a life chloe brown and said something in the lines of "even if your body isnt fully functioning or healthy, you deserve love". it has been helping me so much these past few days and im going to pick up get a life chloe brown soon. i just want to say thank you.
I looooove the snow too ❄️ it’s so magical ✨ I love the silence snowfall brings. I live in Eastern Washington State so we get crazy winters here too 😊😌
My literal favourite youtuber, I've recommended this channel to everyone I talk about books with ! The cozy, calm, and warm energy in all the videos is just too good to miss out on !!
sending good wishes from west canada ! neighbours haha

if this is any indication of what's coming up in the next few weeks on your channel, I know I'm going to be LOVING these snowy, winter vlogs! (as usual tbh)
Hi Emma! You're starting to become one of my favorite creators. I also have a lot of anxiety and you and your videos are so calm and peaceful; they have been helping a lot. Hope you are doing well!
Perfect ramblings. I don’t believe I could catch your video so early in its release - it just so happens I have to stay up late tonite. I do remember I read the 2 quotes you had on Scrooge, but they didn’t do me anything. I actually found the short discussion on the “door nail” very funny…well, maybe I just a very simple person.
Hey Emma :) My name is Bo and I'm from belgium (not really sure why I wanted to metion that but anyways)Thank you for being so open about your struggles. I have been here for a while and I have always really admired that about you. For a couple of years I have also been struggling with being very hard on myself and fearing a bad grade even though I know those thoughts are not reality. It can feel numbing, painful and it's often a period with loss of hope. I wish you the very best of days, your videos sure make mine better :) I also wanted to tell you that it is so courageous to open up and tell people about your chalenges. In the light of everything that we do "wrong", we often forget to praise ourselves for the things we find normal but which are actually very rare. You seem like one of those rare souls you come accros every so often who makes people feel heard, seen and cared for just by being. So thank you thank you thank you Emma
👋 hi from Dallas Tx- am feeling mellow and am a little stressed, but love hearing about what books are good. Loved the specific book recommendations, please do a part III! 💙💙💜💕🥰 hope you feel better…Don’t work too hard! I find meditation, a rest and recovery day every week, and warm lavender epsom salt baths work well for my anxiety. Love ur channel. Love how quirky you are, it’s a breath of fresh air and I love that you live literally in a forest! Yes 🙌🏽
Hey emmie! Im a 20 year old from the netherlands studying industrail engineering. I grew up with reading books but didnt think about it first the last few years. Last year tho i had a new years goal to read 1 book every month. you really inspire me to do so and youre just the best! greetings brum :)
Hi Emmie! 49 year old nurse here from Iowa City, Iowa. We are a UNESCO City of Literature! Started following you a month or so ago when I got into classical literature and book tube.
i found your channel last year with the phantom vids and since then i have gone back to finish the requirements to enter english at a university level while working part time :) thank u for ur content its like a warm hug at the end of a long week.
girl now you definitely made my whole day better. my day wasn't so ad but i wake up so late and i almost did nothing productive and it's already 7pm! put now i feel so much better and i hope i can finish some studying and reading. The whole vlog was so lovely, it could be my very favorite!!! Especially the "mental health chats" part, it was so warm and i can relate to most of it, the anxiety because of studying and exams.. so, I REALLY LOVE YOU SO MUCH
Hellooo. I’m from turkey and this year was an exam year for me. During that time, I’d watch a video of yours and I cannot tell how much of a calming effect you had on me. and now I’m officially a pediatrics resident! Because of the pandemic the bureaucracy has been slower than usual and I used my free months reading a lot, and I was inspired many times by you! Thank you so much
The vibes here are so cozy and the aesthetic in these videos makes Emma just radiate "best friend" energy if that makes sense. Love these videos so much.
Hi Emma. I have found your channel recently after getting back into reading and wanting to get some inspiration on good books, and I have been loving your content. I wish you happy holidays. Kind regards from the Netherlands!
I'm so sorry that things have been so rough recently. I have chronic Lyme disease and co-infections, so there are a lot of times where my body and my mind seem to be failing me too. Thank you for being so transparent about overcoming hardships; you're an inspiration to a lot more people than you think! Congrats on 200k, keep being an inspiration love!
So jealous of the snow! I'm a fellow snow lover who tends to embarrass herself whenever there's even the tiniest bit of snow outside, but to be fair, I lived in Florida for most of my life so snow is still relatively new for me. I can also relate to being anxious and being frustrated with your body not working how you feel it should. I get chronic migraines and the pressure changes in my area this past week have not been ideal. Just remember to allow yourself to relax from time to time. Sending positivity your way, love your channel! 😊
I relate so much to what you discussed in this video about mental health. Like you I'm in university, getting an English degree, and put massive amounts of pressure on myself as far as grades are concerned. I sometimes feel that I do nothing but have constant anxiety about life and school. It's so difficult to take time to care for yourself, to slow down and remind yourself about what life is really about, etc. But it's so important and I'm glad you talk about it in this video. I always love your content because you're real and I can relate so much. And it's always so cozy. Love from a new subscriber
You are so kind to share your musical abilities despite the tough times you experience:I hope your anxiety lessens with rest and self-care!I can help with guitar stuff, but calluses are a fact of fretting the strings and will be overcome with time.Don't put too much pressure on the strings, just enough and not too little. You are a wonderful flautist!❤️
Hey Emma! I've been loving your videos for a year now and I want to say thank you for creating such a cozy, relaxing space! I'm from Oregon:) Hope you're feeling better!
i love watching the snowy content and the joy it brings you! As someone who lives in deep south louisiana i haven't seen real snow in so so long but i love it so much. getting to watch it from your point of view just makes me smile
You have been such a joy to accompany since I found you two weeks ago! I am an avid reader and writer from Michigan! Psyched you play the flute too💛 might have to pull mine out! I want more snow, but it’s supposed to rain all night, so that’s a close second for digging into a long book. Hope your brain gives you a break soon, friend! 💛
i live in northern california so it's cold but we don't get snow, ive been living through your videos to get me in the winter spirit (: love crocheting while having your vlogs in the background, it feels like chatting with a friend. so just wanted to say hi and thank you
Your videos are such a comfort zone for me. I've been watching you for a couple of months now (Think I started when you started your War & Peace diary) and been watching a lot of your content since. It just gets me into the cozy reading mood. :)
Emma, I was in your place about a year and a half ago with guitar, and I must say, it is better to play about 10 or 20 minutes a day consistently, even when it hurts, than trying to play for hours a night, and I would say in 2-3 weeks your fingers won’t have that trouble! But consistency is key, and eventually you’ll be able to play for hours without your fingers hurting. Good luck and I’m looking forward to seeing your progress!
Emma, the snow queen: thanks for the beautiful and fresh snow! In Rio, we have this heat and sometimes a storm. Love to know you play guitar and flute. ❄❄❄❄❄❄☕💖
I have been here only for a couple of months so a fairly new subscriber. Here from the other side of the world hehe... from India. And I love your content, Emma. Your videos are so warm and cozy. And I always find it inspiring to read more and get lost in the pages of a book. ♥️
I just read A Dowry of Blood recently and loved it! This vlog was lovely. I’m also a big snow fan and I’m just waiting for that perfect first snowy walk of the season to come for me
been watching your channel a lot recently and i really love the chill vibe all your videos have! watching you really motivates me to read more and calms me down on overwhelming days :D you’re really cool
hi emma, i don’t usually comment, but i felt so connected to you in this video that i wanted to let you know a bit about me. i’m veronica and i come from northen italy. i discovered your channel when you had like 30000 “friends” and i fell in love with your videos. they bring me so much comfort and coziness that it makes me cry. i came back to reading thanks to you, to your passion for books and for the literary world. right now i’ve just finished reading “the night circus” by erin morgenstern and i’m currently reading “wuthering heights” and a banana yoshimoto’s book. i suffer from BPD so i know how it feels to feel emotions deeply. i connected a lot with your anxiety and i want to send so much compassion to you. remember to give it to yourself too. i am looking forward to your more wintery videos! love you lots, veronica 🥺😽
Ah ("ugh"), the irony of not allowing yourself to feel or recognize the good hours or longer stretches of time except for in hindsight, and the moment you herald the contentment of the present, something happens from without or within and enter anxiety or frustration or pain. Congratulations on your now almost 210K friends. I've read so many good books b/c of you. Merci beaucoup!
hi! i’m ellie from the uk, i also love taylor swift and books, i found your channel a few months ago through your ‘i asked 1000 people what their fave book was’ vid, which i loved!! you have such a comforting vibe and it’s so cosy here on this channel! sending love
Sending you love and hugs!!!! I hope your anxiety melts away and your pain ebbs away and doesn't return. Wishing you the very best for the rest of this holiday season. 🥰🎄🌻💖
Hola Emmie!
Wow, I feel this so hard (regarding school and mental health). I just wanted to say you are not alone in that. I have been struggling to juggle school/finals, my mental health, and physical health, all while transferring to UW. It's exhausting, and I hope that you are getting lots of time to relax during your break
Woah you have posted so much recently I couldn't keep up haha! I am currently doing a binge session of your recent vids whilst doing the washing up and cleaning my kitchen, perfect calming content to have on in the background
Hi Emmie & and her fellow subscribers/friends ;) I am a uni student in NZ, I'm about to start the final week of my whole undergraduate degree! I study Japanese and Asian Studies, but I'm taking an English paper to finish off my degree (it's called "Postcolonial Literature" with a focus on the Korean peninsula, so we're reading books like Pachinko which you mentioned recently in one of your videos). I am a bit stressed and anxious because of all the work I need to do in this final week of study...But it is nice to visit your channel to relax. I found your channel exactly three months ago today! It was the "I asked 1,000 people what their favourite book is 👀 here are the top 20 novels!" video. Since then, I have been subscribed, have loved watching your videos, they're so calming :) Also, I have definitely added a lot of books to my TBR because of you haha It was cool to find out that you play the flute, I really enjoyed listening to your practice. I hope you're having a great day and that you keep enjoying your winter reads! (I, on the other hand, am dying in the 28C weather here in NZ and can't quite get into the wintry mood haha :)
It is Sunday morning around 9. I woke to watch Emma again. Well, I am Lewis and I love snow and winter. The snow was up to my knee height when I was at college in the UK. I had a head injury when I was very small, but I don’t attach anything to it now as it was just so long ago. Perhaps my ultra sense of optimism has something to do with it. I was first drawn to your channel when I was randomly searching for Agatha Christie not long ago. There you are…Emma the sleuth. Watching your vlog is becoming part of my routine. Keep it up girl, love to hear your voice. More of Agatha Christie please.
I was in kind of an editing slump today but watching this gorgeouuus video gave me all my motivation back ! The scene in the snowy woods was incredible, it looked like a movie 😍
This is a really beautiful vlog. Your videos help my mental health. 🥰 Keep your fingertips moisturized so your calluses can form and not flake off. I’ve taught myself mandolin but haven’t picked it up in several months so I’m going to have to go through the same process. 😬 It’s worth it!
hii emmie! u popped up on my recommendations a week ago and ive been binging your videos since! watching ur content makes me feel so cozy and comfy and really helped reignite my love for reading :) im from north carolina, but am currently studying abroad in copenhagen! sending lots of love
also literally everything u said in regards to school puts into words exactly how ive always been with school and really makes me feel less alone in that - cheers to prioritizing mental health over school and being able to recognize when u aren't doing so! thank u so much for sharing ur rambles
Before your video i haven't understood that i truly love vlogs! Thank you so much for your work, videos, thoughts about books and much more! I'm from Russia. I'm fond of literature, photography, chess, etc. I'm gonna study philology or journalism huh. So it's not a surprise i'm here:) Learning foreign languages and literature are my the most favourite things on the world! In fact, i'm so tired and i guess i have a burnout, studying is quite exhausting. I suppose you all know that. However i'm trying to stay positive. Love you to the moon and back ❤️ P. S as a russian, i don't understand everything you say but i keep trying. Thanks to your videos i can reach highest level!
Hugs, emmieeee! ❤️ I can totally relate about having random cramps in my body. Especially backpain (I was diagnosed with scoliosis), I really hate it when it attacks, it totally affects my mental state and work. 😩 I'm happy you feel better now. Advance merry cozy christmas! ❤️ You inspired me to read Christmassy and wintery books for this month too. Thanks for the recos! Currently reading A Christmas Carol. ❤️✨
hi emma hope you’re having a good day/night! i watched this vlog while relaxing after a long week of work and it was such a pleasure 😊 time to spend the weekend bundled up with hot chocolate and a good book!
I've had so many conversations with a friend of mine who is recovering from a major surgery about how frustrating it is when our bodies don't or can't work the way we want them to. It's such a hard experience, but I'm sending positivity and comfort your way!
the snow is such a strong supporting character in this
Huhh, this video was actually a real masterpiece in my opinion.
You make us happy so please be happy too 🥲
Talking about your anxiety, please don't put pressure on yourself. Take a break if you really need too. Take a rest, you're doing great. I hope everything will be okay. You always there for us so we hope we can always there for you too.
Thank you so much I’m so glad:’) That’s amazing!! Thank you very much for the reminder, this is such a loving space
The fact that I found you like 2 weeks ago and I just refresh your channel ever since.. I love your videos and your energy! Thank you!

Good morning!🌼 Thank you so much, so happy you’ve discovered your love of reading:’) the happiest of holidays to you guys💕
a 40+ minute long vlog?? WE WERE BLESSED BY CHARITY QUEEN EMMA ‼️😭
I could not be more happy right now.
oof amazing, hope it went well!!
Hi Emmie! I found your channel this past summer and immediately subscribed. I have struggled with depression and anxiety my entire life and I am finally getting a grip on it and finding hobbies. I have found reading to be one of them! I love to watch your videos they are very relaxing. Congrats on 200k subscribers! Keep up the great work
This channel has become one of my favorites. It's so chill and comfy and easy to watch!
When I first started watching emma, her subscriber count was around at 7k, i think.
Her describing Great Expectations so beautifully inside a car was more than enough to know that i'll be here for a long time!
Watching from Bangladesh!
Sending lots of love and thank you for introducing me to so many great books. Your taste in literature is kinda shaping mine and i'm so happy about it.
ahh i love when you read snippets of the books you're reading, it makes me feel so cosy and warm!
I just want to say thank you so much for being so open about mental health in your videos. It always makes me feel less alone ♥️
Indian..🤍
Thank you for your cozy videos, as always :)
Im going through so many major life changes right now and your videos always bring me so much comfort.
Don't be hard on yourself , your an amazing person who makes so many subscribers smile x
I love how she always uploads 🥺 She makes everyone's day better 🤍
that’s so sweet, you guys make my day better honestly💜
Thank you so much
congrats on passing your exam!!
The scene of you running in between the snow and the trees was just so “movie-like” vibes! 😍💙
you’re voice is the most calming i’ve ever heard, it’s so good to hear!
my turtle loves your voice, she always puts her head above the water when i'm watching your videos jhckcxv
okay this is the best thing I’ve read in my life, give your turtle all my love:’) what’s her name?!
thanks for all the content em, your vids are so calm and vibey
i live in northern california so it's cold but we don't get snow, ive been living through your videos to get me in the winter spirit (: love crocheting while having your vlogs in the background, it feels like chatting with a friend. so just wanted to say hi and thank you
Your videos are such a comfort zone for me. I've been watching you for a couple of months now (Think I started when you started your War & Peace diary) and been watching a lot of your content since. It just gets me into the cozy reading mood. :)
hi there. been watching your videos for a little while and have found them so comforting
hi emma
You play the flute so beautifully I really felt that 🎵
I have been here only for a couple of months so a fairly new subscriber. Here from the other side of the world hehe... from India. And I love your content, Emma. Your videos are so warm and cozy. And I always find it inspiring to read more and get lost in the pages of a book. ♥️
I just read A Dowry of Blood recently and loved it!
This vlog was lovely. I’m also a big snow fan and I’m just waiting for that perfect first snowy walk of the season to come for me
Ahhh Emma this vlog made me son happy.
been watching your channel a lot recently and i really love the chill vibe all your videos have! watching you really motivates me to read more and calms me down on overwhelming days :D you’re really cool
hi emma, i don’t usually comment, but i felt so connected to you in this video that i wanted to let you know a bit about me. i’m veronica and i come from northen italy. i discovered your channel when you had like 30000 “friends” and i fell in love with your videos. they bring me so much comfort and coziness that it makes me cry. i came back to reading thanks to you, to your passion for books and for the literary world. right now i’ve just finished reading “the night circus” by erin morgenstern and i’m currently reading “wuthering heights” and a banana yoshimoto’s book. i suffer from BPD so i know how it feels to feel emotions deeply. i connected a lot with your anxiety and i want to send so much compassion to you. remember to give it to yourself too. i am looking forward to your more wintery videos!
love you lots, veronica 🥺😽
Ah ("ugh"), the irony of not allowing yourself to feel or recognize the good hours or longer stretches of time except for in hindsight, and the moment you herald the contentment of the present, something happens from without or within and enter anxiety or frustration or pain. Congratulations on your now almost 210K friends. I've read so many good books b/c of you. Merci beaucoup!
hi! i’m ellie from the uk, i also love taylor swift and books, i found your channel a few months ago through your ‘i asked 1000 people what their fave book was’ vid, which i loved!! you have such a comforting vibe and it’s so cosy here on this channel! sending love
your vlogs are always saved me!! im so happy to found u and watching ur content💗❄
Sending you love and hugs!!!! I hope your anxiety melts away and your pain ebbs away and doesn't return. Wishing you the very best for the rest of this holiday season. 🥰🎄🌻💖
It's like you and your videos are the elixir of happiness. Thank you 😊
Hola Emmie!
It's nice to see you playing instruments and using yourself as your own insert music. I'm glad you are enjoying getting back into music :)
You play the flute beautifully! I play too and I think I got whiplash from how fast my head snapped up to listen!
I'm currently reading For the Wolf and gosh, thank you so much for letting me know that book existed, because i'm loving it! 😊😊😊
Eee so happy for you!!
Wow, I feel this so hard (regarding school and mental health). I just wanted to say you are not alone in that. I have been struggling to juggle school/finals, my mental health, and physical health, all while transferring to UW. It's exhausting, and I hope that you are getting lots of time to relax during your break
Good luck with the transfer process!! I’m a freshman at UW right now :~)
Woah you have posted so much recently I couldn't keep up haha! I am currently doing a binge session of your recent vids whilst doing the washing up and cleaning my kitchen, perfect calming content to have on in the background
If finally snowed here in Denver Colorado today and your magical video came out! Couldn’t have been more perfect timing!!!!
‘’The trees literally want to drink your blood and it’s fantastic.’’❤️🤣 Also, thank you so much for raising awareness about mental health!
Hi Emmie & and her fellow subscribers/friends ;)
I am a uni student in NZ, I'm about to start the final week of my whole undergraduate degree!
Since then, I have been subscribed, have loved watching your videos, they're so calming :) Also, I have definitely added a lot of books to my TBR because of you haha
It was cool to find out that you play the flute, I really enjoyed listening to your practice.
IT'S LITERALLY MY FAVOURITE VIDEO OF YOURS ! ❤❤❤😭
I'VE WATCHED IT SO SO MANY TIMES THAT IVE LOST THE COUNT !
Love you to the moon and back ❤️
You inspired me to read Christmassy and wintery books for this month too. Thanks for the recos! Currently reading A Christmas Carol. ❤️✨
love that you’re uploading more frequently but please also take a good care of your own health !! we love u ❤️
hi emma hope you’re having a good day/night! i watched this vlog while relaxing after a long week of work and it was such a pleasure 😊 time to spend the weekend bundled up with hot chocolate and a good book!
