That’s a great charity to donate too. You can’t beat getting outside and cooking some food in some nice weather. Thanks for the shoutout and kind words. I really appreciate it!! Loved the video 👍👍

Thanks Jason. It was a pleasure to give you a shout-out as I love your vids. I hope you guys in Kentucky will be getting out again soon if you’re not already. If you’re like me, then when you do get out there again, you’ll appreciate it even more than before. ATB, Mark 👍

Thanks Ash. Yeah it was a nice spot there. I think that’s my favourite tarp setup currently. Quick and easy to do and works well. Bannock was easy too, even if it did start off a bit sloppy! Only issue with it is you get sticky hands when making it, but I made sure I was right by a stream so all good! 😄

Hello Mark and thank you for the shout out , I've never tried to make a bannock, looks good but I think cheesy bread sounds better , nice long walk this time , nice to be back in the woods, We have had some relaxing of the restrictions, and should be able to get back on the trails soon, Thanks again for the support I appreciate it very much cheers John

Thanks John. That was the first weekend since restrictions were eased here. What I didn’t show in the vid is how many other people where out. Never seen so many in that area! Seems there was definitely a pent up desire to get back outdoors! I bet it will be the same where you are. 😊

'A cheesy bread with herbs.' That sounded and hey looked nice Rosy. It didn't look to hard to do either. I've been following Jason for a while and I agree a nice chap with bags of enthusiasm for the outdoors. Well, have a great week ahead. Mark

Thank Mark. Yes it was both easy and tasty. The perfect combination! 😊.
It seems bannock is supposed to be a sweeter fruitier thing, so I was going a bit off piste with my cheese and herbs but I will just claim it’s the traditional New Forest version!
I’ve had an awesome weekend thanks. Hope you have too. - Cheers, Mark 👍

Good save on the Bannock mate! Looked good in the end which is the main thing. Ive driven through the NF many times but never walked or camped there .

😄 - Yep, miraculously it turned out good somehow! New Forest is good for walking - lots of open space with not many people around. Unfortunately like most of the UK, wild camping is not allowed, neither are open fires. Thanks for watching mate! - Cheers, Mark 👍

I bet that was lovely, I err towards the sweet with bannock, a little sugar and mixed spice and fry it in butter.
    Good job mark 👍

Thanks Dan. Yeah I think the fruity version is more traditional - Wow! Fried in butter! That would be delicious! 😋

That wood louse was having a right laugh on your table 🤣😂🤣 looked decent the banock Mark. Like you say probably a bit too much oil but what a great attempt. 9.9/10 matey. "It's Cheesey bread with herbs" 🤣🤮 Nice one. Lee

😂 ... don’t invite me round to cook at your house! 🧀 🧀🧀
The one Wade, who started this, did had nuts, dried fruit, and some sugar in it. That might be more acceptable perhaps?
I noticed the wood louse when I was doing the edit. Thank goodness it didn’t jump in! 😄
