Christopher Stolan dude if you hate the squeals, as you call it. music wise its called pinched harmonic, then you hate randy rhoads. randy used pinched harmonics through out his music, its just not as strong as zakks. and yes zakk does use it more than randy
Christopher: I Do not hate Randy Rhoads, Randy did not over-use or excessively use pinched harmonics, natural harmonics, finger picked harmonics, or any other kind of harmonics. I'm not quite understanding how someone does not seem to be allowed to make a negative comment about Zakk's playing on youtube. I do not like his playing and I described why, and therefore it seems I am constantly asked why I am criticizing him? My friend loves Zakk's playing just as much as Randy's, I do not. I am not putting anyone down, I am just commenting on Zakk's very well known technique. Randy played behind the beat ( legato) and emphasized the top note of most of the triplets he played, which he is known for as part of his style. Zakk plays the notes all together with no emphasis on distinguishing where the notes fall. It's his style. He rushes, while Randy played behind the pocket. If Zakk want's to put his own spin on things then that's great, remember that the next time you hear someone play a song you know that you don't think their playing is up to the level of the original, because that's all I am saying.
I'm not trying to give you hate but if Randy Rhoads was alive long enough I think he could have played a better solo but because he didn't this was just a bit better.

What a mess all those videos are though, and AGAIN let me just say, there are lots of really good players out there playing RR and doing a fine job...just not most of the people from that show...except August of course...
Zakk Wylde, the greatest guitarist of the 21st century
I love Randy Rhoads but I think this solo by Zakk Wylde is better.
I'm not trying to give you hate but if Randy Rhoads was alive long enough I think he could have played a better solo but because he didn't this was just a bit better.
Adam Fookin Franck True, if Randy Rhoads was alive today he would play it better than this..
Randy Rhoards is better cuz it is original (my opinion)
brandon church The funny thing is that Randy forced other guitar players to expand. He wasn't thinking he was doing that but he did. He was original!!!
paych geronimo
oh... so if he forced other guitarists to expand Randy stayed original and others don't.
So smooth and he’s vibing
Zak tried to play it as fast as possible
je just played under the randy's solo
he has not the volume even on
Yes the original track is playing but you can hear Zakk playing with it you idiot
Keep practicing kid.....you’ll get there😂🤣😂
This dude shreds shredders! Intensity on steroids🤘🏼
Pretty good..but can he play Smells Like Teen Spirit?
Once went to see black label society. Smoked some reefer. Not too much but then zakk went into a solo so crazy it made me more high. I fainted and fell right to the floor. Zakk wildes guitar playing literally blew my mind
The guy below me obviously is a nobody hahaha
This is a great rendition, and I am sure he was thinking about Randy while doing it. He has almost the same exact phrasing. Zakk loves Ozzy and he grabbed the wheel for him and his band to continue on.
Zakk always make Ozzy's songs sound really good.
he’s playing like he’s a pro or something i hope he will be famous one day
WHAT
that was super cool watching he master play that!!!! I loved hearing the raw strings and see the feeling in his hands when he plays it.
You look like Steve O if he was gay
Yeaaaah dude!!
How is this guy not famous? Great playing
Not going to bother look through the comments but man what a beast, im learning this at the moment and its just badass
One of the best live shows I've ever worked of all time at our local casino. He runs around like a madman in the crowd. What surprised me, from standing next to him offstage is that he's not very tall at all! Damn sure plays like a giant though!
😍😍😍😍🍻🍻🍻🍻 if i could play like that ill never gonna stop playing!
love the sound of strings in the mix
The best I've heard so far.
Crazy train by nickleback is truly one of the best!
