@@darylsavage119 I was working our demo booth next to DeWalt when it happened lol, the fumes were awful, and then the fire department made the expo evacuate everyone from the outdoor area.

Don't feel bad, my whole lot is 50 ft by 150 ft (with a house and shed on it), and my fiance is going to get an eGO zero turn just because he doesn't want to to step in dog land mines when mowing. LOL
I mow 1 acre. My biggest concern for the mowers I tear up are; How does it RIDE? My first mower was a normal 42" rider. It beat me to death. My second, a 52" zero turn, rode better, went fast but it got destroyed by all the small holes and rough terrain. So I would have liked to see someone riding it on something other than a generic putting green. Also weight distribution. One of my areas has a good incline. So far I just see a city boy mower.
I seen a review of their old zero turn model where the guy abuses it to see how it handles the thing cuts through very tall grass I could only imagine how this new model does, I’m not a fan of these tho I’m sure they would come in handy for land scraping so much money u can save.

I would love to see a video of the strongest 1/4 impacts updated list. A lot of guys, like myself, don’t really care about all the fancy settings, but just need the most powerful impact possible. Also a video on the strongest half inch would be nice too!
There's nothing wrong there, but some of us also want something that isn't going to give us hearing damage. Hydraulic impact drivers available in 2022 under rigorous testing would be a welcome addition.

How do you make the two rear wheels turn opposite of each other? Looks like one just stops and the other continues to drive which creates bald spots from my 0-turn experiences. Thoughts?
@utahupman: Hey, I have the original EGO zero turn. It’s identical to this one but for the dopey ass steering wheel they added to make it appeal to newbs. The zero turn is accomplished by independent motors attached to each rear wheel. The rate of turn of each wheel is totally controlled by the operator based on the position of the lap bars. The end effect is exactly the same as a gas powered zero turn with hydrostatic transmission.

Hey Vince, can you ask the Ego guys if the steering wheel turning mechanism will also be coming to the Ego 52” zero turn, and not just the 42” zero turn as shown in this video. I know many consumers would love that. Thanks!
I work for a maintenance company and I have done it fore 20 years and a zero turn makes for a crappy snow pusher. We used huge 72" diesel mowers and it just didn't work. No luck with snow blower attachments either. You just need 4 big wheels.
How is it or what options are needed to mulch and or bag leaves?

if your going to put a steering wheel on a zero turn, seems a bit of a mistake to not add in front wheel steering while your at it... like the Cub Cadet
Vince, love your channel but….your original video on this back in August touted “4 wheel steering control” for enhanced performance on “slopes up to 20 degrees”. (1) what happened to that and (2) how could you post a video that does not correct the record on those claims you made based on obvious erroneous information from Ego, but you never ask the guy about that???

@@danielhochstetler4324 The silence on this is unfortunate. Especially for such a fundamental claim that is arguably 2/3 of the story here. Hopefully Vince will soon get around to an explanation. In fairness, there were dozens of other influencers who repeated this same claim as it was apparently sent from EGO corporate marketing. However, to my understanding only a few have offered a correction or update now that we know that was incorrect.

@@VCGConstruction it would be awesome if you also ask why they said this one would have “4 wheel steering” and handle 20 degree slopes. I’m guessing they are working on that tech but hopefully for the legit lap bar ztr. Lap bars are the far better control system vs the cartoonish steering wheel and foot pedal.

You can but alot of blades and gas for what it cost for 6 batteries at 456.00 a piece or more. Like E go but thick grass eats up a battery.
I cut grass for a living just by watching this i wouldn't recommend to anyone. It looks like the tire will mess the grass up when it turns .. my toro zero turn 3000 series will do a better job and last longer

Another completely unnecessary lawn mower if it's not autonomous at this point I'm not interested. Stop thinking I want to waste my time doing monotonous manual labor riding around on a mower or any other type of yard work for that matter. Robotics technology and computers have far exceeded the need for us to do it manually so why are we still being spoon-fed old technology old ways and wasting our time and money on this stuff?
