I pull a gorilla cart trailer behind the Z6 while im bagging so I can stop and dump the bags into the trailer when they’re full and then fill up the bags again before heading to my dump site. Cuts your dumping trips in half.

Hi, I have this mower and bagger and have cut grass for side job for years. Try this, I seen when u lifted that bagger lid alot of the leaves are almost whole which fills the space quicker. Take the bagger tube off and go over the area a few times and chop those pieces up to thumb nail size bits and then put your bagger on and u said u went 4 times, I bet you would only need maybe 2 if that. Give it a shot, works good for me.

Just makes me all the happier to live out in the mountains. We just let the leaves go back to nature around these hills. By December you'd never know there'd been leaves in the yard.

Good review and, me being an X professor, businessman, TV, radio and author guy married forever, but have lawn care most the year, but looking for doing the leaves, not racking all day, seems a No brainer! However, my crew stops in our 85% heavy tree cover in the north central mountainous Alabama area late December. With not ten or fifteen trees this guy has, but literally thousands going down the mountain about 1,250 feet and we are talking mostly hard woods too! Our forest flanks my home with hard woods in back, and two sides. Thank God I am still staying active between book seven and eight, and I need the exercise with for now the best EGO Self-propelled mowers. Sure ridding may be the thing, but exercise in our wonderful Alabama late fall and winters doing leaves is not a bad deal in temps running from 70 F. to a low of 45 F most late winters and in March the leaves will be gone. They unlike his, will come down for at least three months. I wonder like many, why he did not mulch first and then bag, as to cut down on tub build-up, etc. My front yard is smaller than his, about half an acre, so the EGO, (checked out over 15 self-propelled EV mowers and EGO seems to be overall the best in most cases) will work fine and they just fold up into a neat package like a piece of luggage for easy garage storage. I am not sold on the idea of ever giving up my summer lawn care crew, as I have other things to do in high heat and humidity in any part of southeastern America. I know one thing, his kid is going to be a winner with a strong work ethic, as that father and son bonding looked great to me and my wife of 55 wonderful years.

The fact that the tube is clear is a game-changer for me! Just sold my Deere with the rear-bagger and can’t tell you how many times I was mowing just to find out the chute was clogged! 🤬

I'm literally checking this video out to do that exact thing. Probably selling my Deere to pick up the Ego. I switched string trimmer, edger, blower, and hedge cutter already. My only concern is the bag capacity looks about HALF of what my Deere bagger can do. I could completely fill 1 yard waste bag with the Deere bagger. I wonder how much this holds.

Delivered a nice even cut, has the super tight turning ability ruclips.net/user/postUgkx1VWTrayKBdCKAjzAcZ_Eg4dhHTae3LkN also recommend I was looking for, and is just a blast to drive. It takes a little bit to get used to driving one after driving a normal tractor style, but once you've got it, you've got it. If you're cutting lines, you have to be careful spinning the mower around or the back tire will dig a bare spot. Just take it nice and slow during the turn and then it's back to full throttle across the yard!

I know I’m really late to the party but you should have mulched it first then vacuumed it up. That way the leafs would be more compressed in the bagger. Also because it’s pre-munched it’s less likely to clog up the tube. Just saying

Engage the parking brake to stop the beeping when you get off.
Did you hold the + button for the blade speed setting to go into the fifth, "turbo" speed? I imagine that would help with wet leaves.

It would be a good idea to get a cart and dump the leaves in that and when that is full, take it back to the place where you put the leaves, if it's far away. That would save some time back and forth. Do they have bigger bags? It would also help if you blew the leaves into a pile to help dry them out and put into a smaller area.

They need an in-chute EGO battery powered blade fan (like on leaf vacuumes that you pull behind your tractor) to increase suction down the chute and get all the grass/leaves into the bags. Mine clogs CONSTANTLY even with relatively dry Zorsia grass in my yard. The chute simply doesnt have enough air speed or volume to lift what most people are mowing.

I'm assuming you collect the grass as you cut it don't you? Or do you only use this for collecting the leaves and then put the mulcher back on it for the grass?

Instead of the $500 for the bagger kit, I just use a regular eGo push mower for bagging, they all come with a bagger (afaik). Then attach a dump trailer to the mower, and empty the collected leaves from the push mower into the trailer. It's what I do. The push mower is a great backup and excellent for quick trim jobs too.

I wonder why it has such small bags? It's up higher than any bagger I have ever seen. I don't know how big those Bags are, but they look about 10gal each.
I have 3 very large live oaks in my yard. So I must have an effective bagger. Holding volume is always a key factor. I'm still using a 1994 snapper riding mower. It's not the biggest most comfortable thing to sit on. But i have found nothing that out works it. I use blades made by a FL company called Gatorback. They are high vacuum and mulching blades.
I don't understand why people are buying tools and equipment that don't work as well or better than older stuff. It's like people are accepting a worse tool just because it's battery-powered.

You really should be wearing a rebreather or at least a mask. I bag my leaves every year and you would not believe how much crap you are breathing in from mulching leaves. I wear an N96 rebreather and change out the filters after leaf season because they are just super brown and nasty.
