Predator Protection - How To Add A Skirt To Your Chicken Coop

We still have things to do to finish our Chicken Coop. Today I put a skirt around it made from half-inch hardware cloth.

Thanks, Richard! Prevention is the goal. Eventually we want to build a nice, covered run for them so they have more room to roam without being exposed. I walked out one morning earlier this week and one of our resident owls flew out of the tree directly above the coop.
