Vargas es, sin duda, uno de los mejores tenotres de la actualidad y estaremos expectantes en Bogotá de su presentación el próximo mes de septiembre de 2011, cuando actuará en un recital en el Teatro Mayor Julio Mario Santodomingo. De sus "rivales" actuales yo prefiero a Beczala y a Machado pero, sin dudas, Vargas es una magnífico tenor y un gran artista (es sólo cuestión de gustos)
ramon vargas canta muy bien pero...no se porque me deja con ganas de mas, siento que pudiera entregarse mas aunque reconozco que su tecnica de casi perfecta y es uno de los ultimos belcantistas, BRAVO RAMON!
Tal vez es porque se centra más en los aspectos técnicos y no se entrega a la pasión que emana de la circunstancia que atraviesa el personaje (se olvida del aspecto actoral o lo descuida), pero sí, de acuerdo!!

@DavidJSGleaton i totally agree, i saw vargas live in the elixer of love and he was absolutely amazing. his voice and technique and his phrasing are as close to perfection as it gets now days. however for leggiero tenors it doesnt get better than lawrence brownlee. he has it all aswell.
