I’m on the border for the first square but it seems small but the same size of urs but I don’t think it will be small bc my stiches size look exact same as urs!! So excited to see how this turns out

thank you so much for the tutorial! simple and really easy to follow :) i used a 4mm crochet hook and it fits but still turned out a bit small, think i’ll try making it with a third round of double crochets around each square to make it bigger!! its super pretty thank u hehe keep up the good work!

Hi! I’m pretty sure the unfinished double crochet stitch you did was a type of Tunisian stitch, but thank you so much for the tut!
Your video helped me so much not only with making the hat but my terminology is so much better now. Unfortunately my had is to CHONCY to fit the hat. But I really enjoyed making it so here goes take two!!

so harry wore this yesterday I bought wool today and here I am 😀
Just a suggestion, leave longer tails so you can weave them in under more stitches. Sometimes, if you cut the tails short, it doesn’t leave enough tail to weave in to ‘anchor’ the yarn. It could unravel in the wash or with use.

Love the vid, great effort MashaAllah. my fave tutorial for a bucket hat so far. the petals can be described as a cluster of 4 double crochet. Hope that helps ;)
ps. your ends are driving me crazy though. they can be weaved in as you crochet. using the needle to weave the loose ends drove me nuts when I first started learning crochet.
