I’ll take my nightwalkers over these due to the nightwalkers being same size and weight throughout. The faster aperture is a plus, even with the chromatic aberration. Although, I do LOVE the IQ and build quality (+ build quality consistency) of the hope lenses. These are so good One thing I’m noticing is that these budget manufacturers really struggle with getting the color of the 24/25mm to match the rest of the set haha
Finally!!! Been waiting for someone to better show these on full frame. Since they sell these in sets of 3s, I've been considering getting the 35-85 set as that seemed to work best with full frame and had more or less the most consistent of all the features of the group.
I have two 7artisans vision cine series 33mm T1.05 and 50mm T1.05. I want to test the entire kit of Nightwalker and see which I will add to my cinematic set. Hope is too high T number.
thanks for the great comparison, do you have experience with 7artisans SPECTRUM as well ? I was wondering how they are different compared to the HOPE on super35 ? the price is very similar and I was wondering if the spectrum on the super35 sensor would be better or the same as the hope. I'm just looking for some budget cine 50mm
@@VictorLaforteza Thanks, I need something handy in a set of lenses that would perform a specialized task - blurring the background at a wide enough angle for a super35. Maybe the combination of characteristics of the Mitakon Speedmaster T1.0 20 mm will help in this?
Looks great.. I cant wait to see you use these on a set or cinematic travel vlog...Really looking forward to it brother.. ❤ ohh and congratulations on linking up with the cinematographer of the movie Joker Mr Lawrence Sher.. P.S You inspire me bro & my dream is to link up with you one day
Testing these more on set soon enough! We'll see if it's worthy of being the king of budget cine lenses! That was definitely a cool experience. I'm super happy to hear that man. Hopefully one day!!
The problem isn't that they named those Hope, but that they were an inch from using Comic Ms Sans in their quest from the least suitable font online. Which camera were you using, with those cinema lenses?

Well put! Yeah it depends on your usual work to see which set goes best for the jobs! Hahaha apparently 24/25mm is the hardest to make 😂😂

hey great review! Could you make a comparison between the 7artisans vision series and the hope series?
If they send me the other set that would be great to compare!!
The word “Hope” and the font makes me think that the one in charged of this product was or is on a KDrama binge.
If you ignore the disadvantages of Sirui, how do you think the background blur on 16mm T1.6 vs T2.1 is different?
Won’t be that much different since it’s a wide angle too!

@@IlyaPodnebesmiy Haven't had the chance to try the Mitakons but I can attest the Laowa Argus 18mm T1.0!
have u try the Meike cine lens one?
Not yet but I'm hoping they send a set soon!
@@VictorLaforteza Hopefully, because I’m almost ready to buy it since it's the cheapest option, lol. I hope if you get it, you'll do a review.
