I use a very thick matte finish styling clay, I am able to run my fingers throught after a few hours, but the hold gets floppy. I guess it's just the duration of my product's hold.

I using the cloud control but not putting the same amount as you recommended to put(putting 2-3 drops), i have stright and thick hair but my hair getting pretty oily during the day

I am one of the people that thinks he has changed up his hairstyle , like he has either gone for a side swept look , a slick back , a quiff , combing it to the opposite side , longer , shorter , normal color , and highlighted hairstyles :)

Joe my hair is very confusing. I have wavy but thin hair but I can put it into a quiff but it gets curly when I start working out and sweating and I don't know what hairstyle will suit me because the texture of it becomes confusing (You probably won't see this comment but it's worth a try)

- my hair is thin and very wavy. i am of indian descent, so you can imagine how my hair will look.
- when i style my hair with a blow dryer, i try my best to make it look good. however, as the day passes it deflates (as with everyone) and it starts to get curlier/wavier vs. when i just styled it.
- that makes it hard to control and it is rather difficult to get close to the original style.
- you might have hair that maybe a bit hard to manage, but at the same time, i feel that when you restyle the hair midday, it is still easier to put it in place and make it look good vs. my kind of hair (and my bro's / friends' etc).
Bro i had the same problem, thin wavy/curly hair and i used to straighten it and some times it got wavier and destroyed the style. Just embraces the curls it will be way easier for you and girls love them

Wavy hair isn't exactly bad. I have wavy hair too the only problem is it's untidy curls in random directions which I have to comb to make it look good. Apart from that I agree that you should be be proud of your curls as it adds volume to hair naturally and girls love it. Hrithik Roshan has wavy hair too and it looks good. I'm an Indian too btw.
I have a good advice. I 've been fighting with my fine straight hair to gain more volume but at the end I learnsomething, our fine hair never will have natural volume and it's better accept this and use a hairstyle that goes with that.
I use a clasic side part and another problem like all of you say is that it flats trough the day so I learned that with more product that you use, more time it lasts.
It also depends of the practice using the product that you are going to use.
I use a matte finish wax from my country and a good amount of this with a lit bit of argan oil makes a great hairstyle even with fine hair

I have been growing my hair out for a year and a half, and i feel like i may be starting to lose it at the crown. I had not cut it at all, so there's definitely damage, and it's thin, so i think it's reasonable that it's getting tangled in weird ways, making it look even thinner. What's the most fool-proof way of knowing if i am indeed losing my hair, or not? I'm 19 years old, i've always been self conscious about my crown area because my hair is fine and i have a cow lick, what do you guys think, would cutting some of it off make it easier to identify if i'm experiencing hair loss?

I’ve found the product which really suits me, Motlet Morris’s styling balm~ it’s like the only thing I’ve ever used which makes my hair feel light and matte and not greasy and it stays in place the whole day!! I’m just surprised things like claymation, hairbond, heck even loreal products which are always hyped about dont work for me... I’m also sad to say joe’s product dun work for me too :( Buttttt yeah guys, jo is right, it’s about finding the right product! Just keep trying out travel size from different brands and find one which works the charm!

Eh joe I just wanted to say that I feel blessed to have gotten in to your channel man. I now use ascend on my thinned out hair that I’ve destroyed with years of excessive shampooing (in process of reversing that) and combine that with fifth sample and bro... I’ve never looked this good. I always struggled getting my short, thin hair to do what I wanted and look good, and never really realized that even though I was spending decent money (pacinos CRÉME, haha) I wasn’t buying quality. I‘m just so damn happy I decided to invest. Thank you bro.

I use Bumble and bumble to moisten, Paul Mitchel serum to soften hair, Lockhart’s Enigma as pre styler, then blow dry w vented comb and finish w Blumaan Monach=all day hold! And I can shuffle it around as day goes on and it can still be in place 👌 thx Joe, ur advice has always been helpful 👍😉

Number one when it comes to using the right product is absolutely true because as for me I do have thick straight hair and I use Cavalier clay and you know what it holds up all day.
I used to get pomades all time and didnt lick the greasy and shine look, now I use clay and the hair looks natural and matte.

Depends on how long your hair is. If its short I suggest you to go to a doctor or so and if it’s mid long or long it’s pretty common. Because it’s long it’s get pulled out easier

I think its normal. A person with normal hair growth loses 50-100 hair strands a day. Those hairs which fall are the dead ones. People with short hair losr hair as well but because it is short,they dont really notice. If you get longer hair it is much more noticable.
Im 15 my hairs length is upto middle of my nose. I mend my hair about every 2 to 3 hour and I notice some(1 to 2 strand ) hair always falling out

I try to go for that genetically blessed look so at the end of the day my hair loses all its product and all thats left is natural oils, at that point its soft and silky and goes where ever i want it to go and it just ends up perfect.

For guys with fine hair like me I suggest investing in a thickening tonic either label m. (Best for budget) Or Aveda (Better quality) as it really helps using hair products after, so use it as a pre styler. Honestly my hair feels more malleable so I can rework it throughout the day if needed.
