The 45acp round ball 230gr is the best U.S.Army used it for 75 years you can't go wrong 💯👍

.45 acp fmj saved my ass twice in Nam. That's good enough for me 😊

It’s a lot less expensive too.

The 45 ACP made its bones with hardball.

Knowing hollow point is velocity based, I always carried hard ball for defense, great video

The 1911 was originally tested with fmj on cows. The cow dropper does well lol

Love your commentary. Those chickens didn’t stand a chance. Interesting, I originally simply wanted to know ballistic comparison with what ww2 soldiers used vs. today’s 45ACP. Out of all my scrolling, your description satisfied me. God bless.

45 acp made its reputation in stopping power with ball ammo..

I had a friend that was a MASH Medic in the Korean War. He saw bodys hit with 230 grain hardball .45 ACP and said it blew big holes out of their backs.

After the flying ashtrays wont feed, I feel assured that ball is better.

Where did you find flying ashtrays? The tooling wore out before the turn of the century.

Even in FMJ, the 45 is already going to make a hole as big as anything a 9mm jhp is likely going to expand to.

@@TheGunBub Theres several .45 rounds that do a mind blowing 600 Foot Pounds of energy. 1.Pilgrim ammo company .45 ACP and 2. Liberty ammo company .45 ACP.

Yup, my poor old outdated and totally obsolete 1911A1 .45acp Fudd gun, loaded with 230 gr Fudd Metal Jacket.
The techno gunners don't realize that shooting this ancient relic is like throwing a punch and bullet at the same time. It's well over 100 years old and still has one of the best trigger pulls on a semi-auto pistol. Even if the assailant is wearing body armor, he's going down with a possible broke rib. That 9mm ain't gonna do that. Someone should make a video on that.

Only a goofy "tacticool" nerd would think that 45 ball ammo is insufficient😂

Stop it!! You're going to make me want to start carrying.45 again. 😂 I keep trying to convince myself that 9mm will get it done, 9mm is effective (as I watch vid after vid of failed stops from body cams)...

Lol…I know exactly what you mean. I go back and forth all the time…choices, choices…I find myself leaning more towards .45 again also

Not saying it won’t get the job done, but no, it doesn’t leave big holes. I’ve hunted with the ol 45ACP. I was disappointed when they didn’t fly 6’ away and explode with a pink mist. Holes are way smaller than one would’ve imagined.

.45ACP 230 GRN. BALL AMMO SHOCK TRAIN REMAINS CONSTANT AS SOON AS IT ENTERS THE BODY . IT DOESN'T HAVE TO MUSHROOM TO BE EFFECTIVE , THE ONLY DISADVANTAGE BALL AMMO HAS IS RICOCHET POTENTIAL IS HIGH .
