George I think you will have more seeds than you think come up as long as they haven't been in temperatures below 32 degrees. My wife used to store he left over seeds in the refrigerator crisper in the basement. She had some pretty old come up and do quit well. Good luck my friend and many Blessings on you!
Not much to be envious of, but it is what we can handle at this point. Thanks so much. Next year, the bed will be about 18" high which will make it about even with the deck floor.
you might not get as many seeds to sprout but I have no doubt that some will, way back when I was in high school one of our teachers had some seeds from about 30 years ago , he planted them and some did come up. but they were bean seeds if that made any difference.
Well, now, 'my son', I had a packet of seed that according to the 'sell by date' were very old, and I gave them to my mentor for all things to do with seed, M Francois Pierron, who makes his living by producing and selling seed. He has systems for recording the date he plants seed, the soil type he plants it in, and his record keeping is meticulous, he has to be able to certify germination rates for the seed he sells. Well, he planted those seeds, which were Brussel sprouts, and got better than a 90% germination rate. The subject he will teach is proper preparation of the soil, and while he plants, and another waters, he believes that it is God that gives the increase. Misereátur tui omnípotens Deus, et dimíssis peccátis tuis, perdúcat te ad vitam ætérnam.
Thank you father harry for the blessing. I didn't do any special preparation and just "sprinkled" the seeds willy-nilly. Most of them are wild flowers.
@@TheShadeTreeFixitMan There are a lot of sermons to be had from sowing seed.... not sure how the flock at your Church will get on with Latin, although amen is amen in Latin too.

Well, nothing ventured nothing gained. Thanks Bob
My garden boxes were 24" tall so I could pull a chair up alngside them to weed and harvest. I'm envious of your farm.

That rooster sure has gotten big what’s his name and does he ever poop in the carport?
His name is Lucky 4. Sometimes...
Grease under your nails and a green thumb 👍
Let's hope the last one is true at least. We already know about the grease under the fingernails. Thanks Rusty
enjoyed the video George, hope some of your seeds come up, thanks
Thank you, it will be a surprise for all of us.
My mom had a green thumb. She used to just poke cuttings in the ground and they always grew. I have a brown thumb
Nothing ventured, nothing gained. We shall see what happens, eh? Thanks Larry

I'm hoping for some at least. It is an adventure in speculation. Thanks Vernon
