Thank you for this meditation 🙏🏻, I've been having this battle of should I do whim hof guided or vagus nerve guided for 20+ mins a day and you made me realize unguided may be better as it allows me to just do what feels right in the moment instead of forcing anything, I also took your advice and did not use music or headphones or ear plugs, just me and the early silence and background noise which it was a bit distracting at first but once I manage to over come it more I felt more confident and empowered in myself, by the end I felt a mild euphoric sense of calmness as my anxiety left my mind. Thank you again I'll continue to pursue unguided meditation as my preferred method. Aiming for 30+ mins a day as I think that's the sweet spot for me, I like doing hour guided breathwork about every couple weeks to focus more on the breathing.
This was amazing. Thank you so much, Ben ✨🙏🏼✨ Usually I try to meditate for about 20 minutes, but now I know it’s not so difficult to do a longer meditation. There was a lot of noise around me but it didn’t really bother me. After a lot of practice I feel like I’m starting to make progress 😀✨🙏🏼✨
I am just getting started with a very busy day. I’m saving this for later. I usually meditate early for about 30mins… maybe I’ll do this with you before bed tonight. 🧘🏼♀️🙏🏻✨
I think it’s great you posted a silent meditation. I don’t think, no, I know, I have never seen that before on RUclips. I am curious about a couple of things. You say you like to meditate in silence to, kind of, better control your mind. Using the driving analogy, silencing ear plugs or music, etc, is like driving an automatic. You will still get to the destination but with a manual gearbox, although slightly more challenging, will develop stronger skills and overall driving ability and capability, which I agree with, but, it appears to me you are holding back on that rational. I notice you said, “that ‘was’ great”… it’s as if your mind has convinced you that you are ok to have 30 minutes to an hour with the divine but after that to resume back to regular operations. Meditation is a fantastic tool to re-regulate the mind and calm the waters in order to taste the devine. Again, sticking with driving, a car is able to take you to a party. You might be able to hear the music and laughter or smell the barbecue from outside but at some point you have to get out of the car and go in. It served its purpose, it is not THE purpose. If silent meditation is tougher and therefore returns a higher yield, why not open your eyes? Stand up? Sing? Why devote only 30 minutes to god? I understand beginners, like me, need to use meditation training wheels but if you have been meditating since you were 6yo then shouldn’t you be way past the stabilisers, in fact, past the bike, car, and on to flying all day by now? I don’t know, because I don’t know you personally, you might be there for all I know and maybe you just teach meditation to help people like me get on the first few steps, or, maybe meditation has been so integral throughout your life you could not imagine a relationship with the divine outside of it? If you devote 30 mins to the devine then does that mean 1390 separate from it/him/her? I admire anyone who spends their time to teaching, educating, uplifting others and I have huge respect and admiration for you so I hope you take any offence to anything I have written. I just felt compelled to comment. You obviously know a great deal about meditation that will benefit me immensely… maybe I just wanted to try and give something back? I don’t know? I did enjoy and appreciate the meditation 👍
i always have this thing is meditation that i need constantly to swallow, like almost every 4 minutes , does this interrupt slightly the breathing scheme or its an okay thing to do?
This is a play of the ego. It’s quite common that the ego will work through the body to distract you. Don’t give it any attention, keep letting go and returning to the meditation. You’ll move past it in time 🙏
Try to ignore (mentally) the action of swallowing altogether, if not…that’s fine, try to observe the swallowing when it happens, make it relaxed, make those swallows the most relaxed and blissful swallows you have ever taken until you are so relaxed you don’t notice the swallowing anymore but the underlying bliss.

Hello, I gave silent blessings in this video 🙏
Hi Ben, thank you for sharing this video. I noticed you have an incense burning. What scent do you find helpful?
I've really been struggling recently to overcome the distraction.
Hello, could you expand on what the numbers 42 and 47 represent to you?
❤️🔥
