Absolutely love this course. One of the very best parklands I've played.
True that 🫶
Solid front 9. I’m a member here and that back 9 is no joke! Fair play with the birdie on the index 1 (hole 12) 🎉
Thank you! It’s a spectacular course, it blew my mind 🤯
Great video of the course, I have to play it, looks fantastic, apart from a few holes I don't think the golf was all that bad got to accept bad shots and not compound the errors, doubles happen, so do birdies.
Definitely a course you have to play, it’s unreal. Ye I have to learn to keep the head, it costs me too many shots 🙄
Good stuff! Golf is such a mental game. Let you down today a bit as you said on the vid. You’re harsh on yourself, after every drive, the first thing you say is how rubbish it is. But a lot of the time, your on the fairway all be it a bit further back. You still have a decent chance of a green in reg. I think your approach game will be much better if you don’t have negative thoughts after every drive 👏
Might actually try that, thanks ☺️
@@breakingparthequest3601 I was the same as you for a long time but changing my mental approach worked a treat! I appreciate its a lot harder on camera also 🤣
@eoinsheedy9020 definitely is, but I have to get over it.
@@breakingparthequest3601 Yeah you will get there for sure. Keep up the great content 👍
Solid front 9, signs are getting closer to being back to your level. Great looking course
Super course Pat! You have to put it on your list 👌 well worth it
Garyhinch in Portarlington is a pure course, and you seem to play in courses close enough to it! Could suit yourself location wise and is a very nice spot!
A few people have recommended that course now, I must give them a call 👍
Yards are roughly 110% of meters. 100mters = 110yards. Keep swingin Philip. That 3putt on 2 was a shocker
Thank you! Believe me it shocked me too 🤯
You should come play Forrest little golf course, it’s an amazing course
I’ll put it on the list, thanks for the suggestion 👍
@@breakingparthequest3601 no problem could you upload it if you do play it thanks!
@emmett0907 will do 👍
@@breakingparthequest3601 thanks
Great course and well done on the video.
That's Scotty Cameron putter wouldn't entice me to ever buy one with that velcro head cover on it. It's screams cheap and it ain't!! You can hear it on the video and it goes through me. I had an odyssey and now a Spider GT putter and thankfully they have magnetic head covers.
Thank you! Ye the headcover is a bit cheap but the putter is 👌
@@breakingparthequest3601 change the head cover and you won't regret it. 😂
@CKW10001 you make it sound like a life or death thing! I never read too much into it, but now I’m terrified 🤣😂
@@breakingparthequest3601 nah it's not 😂, just I can't get over SC decision to put velcro on a head cover. It's a decision that baffles me and the noise that comes through the camera gives shivers up my spin 😂. But it's your head cover bud. So keep up the good work.
@CKW10001 I enjoyed this conversation a lot, it was strange, scary but always amusing. Thank you 😁
When you broke 90, you played as if you wanted to be under par, you should have a strategy and when it comes to breaking 85, the strategy changes, not going gung-ho. Your golf has really improved and if you can cut out your negativity and accept your bad shots, I can see the Title change by the end of August. Great course, playing it in October.
100% correct! Rosanna is kicking my ass about all the time. Thanks for the confidence 🫶
It must be hard trying to play and narrate your round at the sametime.
If I could make a suggestion, talk before your tee shot, strategy, hole shape ect, then play out the hole without talking too the camera. Make notes after you putt out, and add the narration about how the hole went in the edit afterwards. Your could see how narrating your putts on the second hole got inside your own head. You can still talk on the course, but once you get to the greens, silence, take the pressure off. Also the distance between the round and sitting down to edit might give you some space to reflect and help your analysis of how you played.
I love the thought, I have done exactly that multiple times but have never released the videos.
They never turn out the way I want them and my vo is shocking 😂🤣
Have a little look at the golf sidekick, hes a legend. Too much talking about birdies from early doors. Every tee shot on front nine practically!! Im the same myself, striking like single figure, but mental game not at all there. So its easy said 😂😂😂. Keep it up!
You hit the nail on the head with that one 🙄 I’ll take a look at him 👍
Add 10% for the conversion to yards, 100=110,200=220 etc.
My home club. It's a genuinely tough course, easily +3 shots harder than the Old Course across the road.I've never broken 80 on it where as I've easily done it across the road. I'd say you played it quite well, your short game just had a shit day and some course knowledge let you down. You avoided a lot of the trouble, because there is loads on every hole.
1st. Can't go left, right, short right or ball OB, can go long or you've no shot at the green. Approach OB long, water left, blocked out right.
2nd cant go right or left or long, lay up has a stream about 100yds out, left of the green is dead so is long and right is blocked out.
There's trouble everywhere there so a high score is always a possibility
It’s some course, it would be amazing to live beside it 👌
If I played the par 5’s better I would have scored much much better.
@@breakingparthequest3601 yeah it’s under 5 minutes from me so handy for a few evening holes
It can play a lot tougher , tees were a little forward and flags were fairly accessible barring a few holes by the looks of it , the greens give loads of opportunity to have hard to get to pins and the greens keepers can be ruthless 😂
@danep82 I know a few green keepers like that 🤣😂
1 meter is 1.09 yards so just add 10% and round down, wont be far off
Thank you 👍
Phillip, go back to Laytown Bettystown
I’ve been trying but it seems to be difficult
@@breakingparthequest3601 as in getting a tee time or the difficulty of the course?
@Mnisf619 getting out to film
@@breakingparthequest3601 Alright. No bother. Love your videos Phillip. Seem like a lovely guy!
@Mnisf619 thank you, I would love to go out there again and we have been trying. Maybe one soon if they see this 👀
The answer to the title is no. Painful 😮
For you or for me?
Great video - I barely broke 100 when I played there in March! Tough course. Would love to have a subscriber challenge if you’re up for it😅
Thank you, definitely up for it, trying to arrange a few now. DM me on instagram to chat about it 👍
