A couple weeks ago I was fortunate to be paired with a 2hcp in a local club comp and it was fantastic watching this guy smash the ball all over the course. Then a day later we played a match against the club pro (former tour player) and the difference between him and the 2hcp was like night and day. So I can only imagine the step up again from club pro to tour pro!! 😱😱😊😊
@@paulh7589 purity of the strike. Being in the right place for the approach shot in to the green. When he missed the green he was able to get up and down to save par EVERY time. No three putts. Very, very few missed fairways and greens. Took advantage of the par 5’s. Just a totally different all round game from the 2hcp. My partner and I got beaten like a chocolate bar at a weight watchers weigh in but you don’t mind that when you’re getting a golfing education and show at the same time 🤟🤙⛳️🏌️♂️

518 yards hole and all of you have 180 ish yards into the green making it a 340 yards drive? And then you’re saying she’s laying up instead of hitting a 5 iron. A 5 iron from 180 yards? You later say she averaged 260 yards of the tee. Obviously that’s only the average, but it feels weird to see a „340“ yards drive followed by a iron 8 from 148… These distances make no sense at all

If I didn’t go for the green, It’s called “course management”. You already saw what happened with the other two that went for it. Remember, there are so many attributions to a golf shot such as winds and elevations. The distance of the hole is also usually measured from the back of the tee.
Matt, not trying to be a critic. But we have such similar games it’s not funny. I see a tendency in you that I also have. Uphill lies or whenever you know/want the ball to move right to left deaden your hands a little more and trust that it’s going to move. As for me I know when I get a little more grippy it tends to make the shot bend more
