Drilling holes in the airbox would also alter jetting on the carb. Need more fuel if you're gonna do that else it's making it leaner and more vulnerable to ceasing (blowing the engine up). I'm thinking of getting Yamaha Jog RR with a leovince exhaust and also polini racing variator with 7g weights. What else makes the biggest performance improvement on a two stroke scooter? Looking for about 55mph.
I've got the same scooter, do you recomend buying a new exhaust. Also I tried removing my variator to get the washer out and I couldnt get the variator
@lukehammill95 The exhaust may need derestricting , the power cam will not fit unless you have a 70cc cylinder kit on as it is too big for the stock parts , dont chop the pink wire this will just cost you more to buy a new CDI unit when you do this , ive had my cdi off and tried to find a way to derestrict it but there isnt one on these bikes.
@lukehammill95 dont think i could do that mate , but search up SPS in Barnsley very good mechanics and he will do it for you , make sure your exhaust id de restricted by drilling out the cone restrictor , and remove washer from behind variator thanks
@lukehammill95 Hi mate i have a Polini Variator Leo Vince Exhaust Polini Race clutch Deretricted in Variator Exhaust Derestricted Sounds to me like your bike isnt derestricted hence why its only hitting 35mph , try putting around 5.5-6.0 gram weights in your variator , quite a good balance , unfortunately cdi units are not availible for this bike , some people claim they are but as soon as you put them in , they blow the fuse leaving you with no lights (which is ilegal).

hi ive gota 4 stroke 50 it will do 40 45ishh on flat but any kind of hill and it wont go more then like 20 25 and help on how to make it fatster?

Will removing the washer behind the variator work on all Baotian models. I've got the Baotian eagle gt 50.
