Everybody thinks of Jesus's suffering, and he did suffer immense pain, but imagine the pain his father and mother suffered when they watched their first born son getting killed like that, i'd literally lose my sanity 😢😢 i'd cry out to God too "why have you forsaken us?"
❤ My mom had to bury both her sons, my brothers - 5 years apart. I think she did loose some sanity in her grief, poor thing. Ya know, parents aren't "supposed to" bury their children. So sad watching (and being with her as she grieved).
@nma6567 i can't even imagine the pain, i'm so sorry for your loss, it's true, parents shouldn't bury their children... When we lose our loved ones i tend to console myself by believing that they are in a better place now, they hang out with a happier crew

As a mother of two children I asked God to help me to serve and guide my childrens from the other side thinking I was about to die. Really good to hear your views. I watched it all. Jesus quotes psalm 22 verse 1 Verbatim. Psalm 22 verse 16 goes on to say: "...they pierced my hands and my feet..." So its a precise match. Psalms was written about 1000 years earlier. So the loop between Jesus and psalms transcends time and space. The word was made flesh and the word died on the cross. Hi Simsane! Well, his whole life (according to Swedenborg) was a *progression* towards "glorification," that is, a complete union of his human nature with his divine nature. So his "merely" human part was actually absorbed and transformed into the whole divinity part -- at least that's how I understand it. If he came and had a life of luxury where would the setting an example in that be? He came to be an example for us to be able to tallow and I can not imagine those being his last words I believe he came to experience what we endured here...its amazing how perspectives can completely change a story. He was not someone who did not to use bit of shock for value and only he knew how this would fall on people's hearts around him at the time. Also a fabulous point was made to the religious teachers at the time. The romans wrote king of the Jews to annoy the Pharisees and sagisees of the time knowing full well it was them that caused this, the Romans kept trying to stop it. The ph & sag had caused the people to call out for Jesus to die rather than Barabos... there are soany lessons in the crusifiction story. So many. I still can not imagine those as the last words. I can imagine forgive them they know not what they do.
Isn't it incredible how much he was persecuted by the religious teachers he reprimanded and after the Romans failed to have them back down on it all they still kept trying and even said let's let the people decide trying to do all they could to see Jesus freed. So much in the crusifiction story. We can also see Jesus would have always known how it would all play out.
Thanks for sharing these thoughts, natasha. Yes, he came to experience what it is to be human on this earth, and yes he knew the kind of journey he was destined for!
I've always struggled with this idea of the necessity of falsity and evil to progress, but I guess I'm not the lord. Still a struggle, i don't want any of it yet I am surrounded by it, some times of my own devices.

The wine on the sponge was vinegar. What was the fruit of God was fermented and drunk. Here, the wine had gone sour. Jesus gave truths which the human mind thought about and twisted into falsity.
Imagine when Jesus cries out to God saying "Father, why have you forsaken me?" imagine heaven opening up and the voice of God saying "I told you they're nuts, my son" 🤭
Oooph, malabuha. Can't quite imagine a happening like that in those words, but Jesus did see more and more that the people did not understand His mission!
I love the analogy of God having to be "human" in order to set the example. I am paraphrasing and hope I got the context right. And don't forget that he comes back 3 days later like the fonz going, hey, I'm okay. Dedicated to Happy Days. You are pretty on the mark with all of this. However 🙏 this is just a story, and there is no one alive who can testify to anything beyond a 100 and something years. What swedenborg tells us about heaven is very important as it is the next stop. In my humble opinion, and I do share this with all religions, the time for study of ancient scriptures is over. We are at the end point, and I believe it to be of the utmost importance that we understand the world we live in is complete fiction. The evidence is there to support this, but everyone is still looking at it as separate and therefore in disagreement. Why is Who? Talking about what God is saying to us every day in the world we are present in today. Are we not tired yet of covering the same ground. I get the, deeper insights from this kind of discussion, but mankind has been looking at this for millenia. 21st-century is where we are. What's your take on how God's creation is looking now, and can you see the clues as to what he is planning next. Ramanamma Who? Author and 21st-century confirmist.
Yes heaven is the next stop for us, Who2You. God is indeed speaking to us every day, and listening brings us closer to Him. What God is planning next is a heaven from the human race.
Thank you. "For they know not what they do" forgives the deep unconsciousness of the human race, also symbolised in Genesis as "without form and void" because as yet unaffected by His love, so unable to see His good in everything and everyone, from Presence.
When God gives Isreal the promised land, Moses says that God already knows that you will break the covenant. This is God giving Isreal an assimilation of Eden. The landscape was to flow and change according to God's desire to teach Isreal. Isreal, looks at itself and lives its memory. The things it likes and desired to keep. This is the battle of living in the landscape of God as in Heaven or your own thought taught to you by your fathers. Hence the book of Judges says that the next generation forgot God and they worshiped false gods. The Hebrew word God, when looked at by each letter means the power to project desired reflection of thought. Hence the word God can be used in conjunction with falsity or YHWH.
"The power to project desired reflection of thought....." Hmmm. Never thought of that in connection with YHWH. But I like thinking about living in the landscape of God!
As Jesus hung on the cross, the Pharisees mocked him and gambled for his clothing. They challenged him and denounced him as the son of God. Jesus responded by quoting Psalm 22. This is the Psalm that prophesied his crucifixion-therefore answering them right back, fulfilling the prophecy. “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” Psalm 22:1
The psalm is describing the pain of David, who was continuely pursued by the king whom God had allowed to be deceived by a demon. No matter howmany battles David won against the nations, Saul desired David's death.
Amen Fellas. John 15:2 is the short version of what you just shared, but is often misinterpreted. JESUS says "Every branch abiding in ME that doesn't produce fruit, My FATHER "Airos." Airo = 1) to cutoff/remove or 2) to bear/lift up. JESUS wasn't teaching that "if you obey by abiding in ME, but don't produce fruit, MY FATHER will cut you off anyway." HE was speaking agriculturally - FATHER or Husbandman would "Airo" (lift up) dragging branches onto a trellis connected to the vine for better circulation to produce fruit. Salvation is not doing good things all the time. Even if you don't do bad things, you may think them and this is the same as doing it per JESUS. Salvation is deciding like Paul, you want to be with FATHER/HIS Ways but have weaknesses you can't override by yourself. JESUS adds every prayer, struggle to HIMSELF to secure Salvation by leading us to choose HIM over our frail desires & fears. Abiding means choosing to stay/remain with HIM regardless of circumstances [Sufferings]. This produces Faith/Fruit. Not our responsibility to produce fruit. Our responsibility is to Abide in HIM.
Well this is just beautiful, reginald. Thank you for sharing these thoughts. I love the image of Jesus lifting up our dragging branches and reconnecting them to the vine!
Jesus is known as the word, the door and the way truth and light… as well as the spirit in the word. He is also known as the last man standing (at the end of a long line) so to speak, in an old reference of the messiahs return. Reading scripture and reading Santa are the same. Not all people know how to recognize Santa. For example, if you have a lucid dream with a hearth, a water vessel and a gnome along with a monster duck and two idiotically mean or just normal relatives… which of these are experiencing lucidity? Why would one assume lucidity takes sides? Besides, you can fly😇
How about Jesus was feigning despair to fully ensnare the enemy into thinking it had defeated him only in a matter of moments his eternal victory would become fully realized, just saying 🥳not as much for the Father but for the hearing of the other 😮shmaybe
Felt this kind of infestation. Not fun. Everything you’re doing is weighed against the spiritual to find it not worth doing, if not outright worthlessly vain. Then, you’re offered all kinds of “colorful solutions” for trying to comfort yourself in this, and all of them feed hell. If you stay true to The Lord, it leads only to despair, even to the extent that you are made to believe it is God you are wrestling with. You truly carry your own cross; nailed. It was during this time that The Lord taught me my name: John - God’s Grace. Garrett - Spear Strong. “God’s Gracious Spear Strength”.
some good, some bad, I think saying he forgives all of us, comparing the line, "forgive them for they know not what they do" is a false teaching. People need to repent, and many do choose to reject God/Jesus and they choose hell over eternal life... for them there is no forgiveness, they made a choice, most knowing exactly that they choose the world over heaven. Also, Jesus is quoting scripture, basically indicating to those watching, that he fulfills scripture, and prophesy. Stick with the bible, these other writings are leading people astray.
Yes, tstephens -- We are called to real repentance, which means not only seeing the error of our ways, but no longer engaging in such behavior because we see it doesn't align with God. And yes, Jesus was fulfilling the sciptures!
Off the left eye. People say what the seven last words that Jesus spoke on the cross, but I have never heard anyone say what they mean. Jesus wasn't quoting Ps 22. Psalm 22 was a prophecy about Jesus. Why did you do this video when you don't know what Jesus meant?. If anyone wants to know the meanings of the sayings, I will tell you.
@offTheLeftEye Thanks, I will show you what Jesus meant. But people need to have an open mind and a teachable spirit, otherwise the Holy Spirit of truth couldn't reveal the Biblical truths to them.
@offTheLeftEye so are you willing to have an open mind and a teachable spirit. False religious people have said they will have an open mind and a teachable, but when I shown them the Biblical truths that proves them wrong, they refuse to believe it.

If he came and had a life of luxury where would the setting an example in that be? He came to be an example for us to be able to tallow and I can not imagine those being his last words
I believe he came to experience what we endured here...its amazing how perspectives can completely change a story.
That's a beautifully humble attitude, Blackdragon. May your ability to turn away from evil and falsity grow stronger and stronger!
The internal meaning is do not be conformed to this world because it will crucify you. Seek the kingdom within, not without.
The kingdom of heaven is within you -- yes, Natalie!
HE was fullfilng prophecy of psalm 22
That is a beautiful psalm thenarrowgate.
my friend gave me and I want to bring it up (helmet==endorse==crucial==amateur==orange==hover==flat==comfort==swear==route==bullet==pistol) I want to transfer xmr Can you help me simplify this task?
Those with ears but can't hear, be careful what you listen to
Does Swedenborg mention anything about reincarnation?
Thanks for asking, khloe! He did not subscribe to the idea of reincarnation, but instead sees continuing spiritual development in the afterlife. Here's a video we did on the subject, if you're interested:

The wine on the sponge was vinegar.
What was the fruit of God was fermented and drunk.
Here, the wine had gone sour.
Jesus gave truths which the human mind thought about and twisted into falsity.
Yeah, Mark, the human mind seems to keep getting it wrong!
I think he meant, why have these pharisees foresaken me, he did good and being killed for it, teaching by example He is, great job 😀
Thanks, Thomas. Yes -- I think Jesus knew what he was in for as part of God's plan.
According to 12 step groups - saying something out loud takes the (negative) power out of the thought.
That has happened for me as well nma.
Thanks for this comment, paxpopuli. Divine Mercy and Love is overwhelmingly powerful!
But I like thinking about living in the landscape of God!
yes my god .... then last words its finished is the fulfilment of the prophercy as in psalm 22 starts with my God my God why ......
Amazing fulfillment of Scripture, rita!
Indeed, Steve. What a moment.
The psalm is describing the pain of David, who was continuely pursued by the king whom God had allowed to be deceived by a demon.
No matter howmany battles David won against the nations, Saul desired David's death.
@@marksingleton7199 He did pursue David relentlessly, yes.
Amen Fellas. John 15:2 is the short version of what you just shared, but is often misinterpreted. JESUS says "Every branch abiding in ME that doesn't produce fruit, My FATHER "Airos." Airo = 1) to cutoff/remove or 2) to bear/lift up.
JESUS wasn't teaching that "if you obey by abiding in ME, but don't produce fruit, MY FATHER will cut you off anyway."
HE was speaking agriculturally - FATHER or Husbandman would "Airo" (lift up) dragging branches onto a trellis connected to the vine for better circulation to produce fruit.
Interesting perspective, Mtron! Though I would think that his physical suffering must have been real despair!
It is finished
One of the last things God said, yes Kathy.
That's a powerful name, JohnGarrett. I hope those episodes of despair give way to hope and trust and faith!
@ I actually feel I am being led towards those things. Particularly the trust.
@@JohnGarrettHudson Bless you for your willingness to follow!
@@offTheLeftEye trust me: The Lord is the one doing the heavy lifting. I have been just kicking and shouting this whole time lol.
some good, some bad, I think saying he forgives all of us, comparing the line, "forgive them for they know not what they do" is a false teaching.
Feel free to share here, Alan.
@offTheLeftEye Thanks, I will show you what Jesus meant. But people need to have an open mind and a teachable spirit, otherwise the Holy Spirit of truth couldn't reveal the Biblical truths to them.
@@alanhales6369 Yes opening our hearts is part of how God reaches us.
@offTheLeftEye so are you willing to have an open mind and a teachable spirit. False religious people have said they will have an open mind and a teachable, but when I shown them the Biblical truths that proves them wrong, they refuse to believe it.
@@alanhales6369 It sounds like you really want to share your true ideas but want to be sure they are well received. I do appreciate what is being said in this video.
I said similar when shaking hands with the mains voltage ⚡, fair play though, once it was explained, everything became clear...💞🫂💞
Sounds traumatic, nebulus!
Hi OTLE, would this conversation be recorded somewhere where people can access it and read it after every episode, by any chance. I do have the bandwidth to listen to the whole episode, in fact it’s so fascinating that i can’t help but get drawn in.
But I read faster than 1 hour 40 minutes. 🙏 So thought I’d ask
azrilali7492 There is also a way to increase the speed, so you can hear it faster. There is a symbol like a wheel under the video that gives you the option to listen faster.
@@offTheLeftEye Thank you so much 🙏🙏🙏❤️
